1 olivia sample - we need more
this video collection is only a start and while it is a good sample - there is so much more that could have been added - there is no complete olivia video collection of all her hits and it is time the record companies paid homage to her and all her hits and give the fans an ultimate collection on DVD - this is only a start.
2 long overdue, but worth the wait
Although it only contains 5 of Olivia Newton-John's numerous videos, this DVD is very welcome in any of her fan's collection. In fact, it can be adviced to any late 70s-early 80s fan or to anyone who'd like to know more about Olivia : it is very nice to hear her recordings, but to see her perform the songs is even better.
Sure, some of the direction ( Totally hot ) or special effects ( Heart attack ) might - hum - look cheesy today, but these are true gems. The 3 "Totally Hot" tracks are very welcome, as none of these were ever commercially released before, and who can forget the - dare I say it ? - legendary Physical video ?
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !! :)
3 Short & Sweet
What a great concept. A bargain-priced DVD with some extremely difficult-to-find videos (with the exception of "Physical"). These videos capture Olivia in her prime (not that she's doing bad these days) and are so much fun to see again after all of this time. The years just fade away. I had almost given up hope of ever finding them again and I'm so glad they re-issued these on DVD. I am totally thrilled.
4 pretty good but hoping for more
always dug me some Olivia Newton John.dug Her videos alright&Her vibe. I wish there more than these few videos.I think there should be more to highlight Her Career.still this makes for a pretty good complilation.
5 Classic Olivia
This 5 song dvd is must have despite the fact that it is only 17 minutes long. Four of the videos not including Physical are hard to find and have rarely been seen since their premeir back in the late 70's and early 80's. The sound quality is amazing and what impressed me most about it is the fact that it has given these songs a freshness not heard even on the rematers of the cd's Totally Hot and Physical. The picture quality is also one of the best I have seen. The only downside is the shortness of the dvd considering Olivia has done so many videos over the years. One can only hope they all see the light of day on dvd, along with her 1982 concert from Utah.
6 Woo-Hoo!! TOTALLY HOT
Only five videos ... but like Alanis Morrissette named a recent album: FEAST ON SCRAPS!!
This DVD brought back such good memories. Olivia was da bomb back in the 80's. For a few years after GREASE, she was riding high. My sister had all her albums and I listened, too!
I'm so excited to see the TOTALLY HOT video. This song rocks! I'm partial to anything with horns in the arrangement ... and Olivia's "dance break" in the middle of the song is fantastic. Nobody can strut in pumps like Olivia can. (Trivia: Are those the same black GREASE pants that she had to be sewn into??)
I forgot how fun PHYSICAL was. And the muscle dudes in speedos are ... hot.
HEART ATTACK is cheesy ... but I'm not complaining. Cheesy is fun (just rent XANADU, one of my favorites!).
I'm not sure if Olivia made any more videos --- I seem to remember a sexy vid a few years later with fire and Olivia in a bed with two muscle dudes walking toward her -- but these are a lot of fun and bring back lots of fond memories.

7 Olivia Rock's a little!!!!!
This budget priced, nicely packaged little DVD collection of five Olivia Newton-John music video clips is a great little gem for the Livvy fan! Songs are from Livvy's "rock" stage, pulling cuts from the 1979-1982 era. So in these clips, Olivia truly rocks a bit! It includes footage rarely seen in 3 of the clips, and one can only imagine how many jaw's dropped as Olivia danced on the rooftop in the final track, surrounding NY's trendy manhatten area.I won't complain about the fact there are only five songs, as the great low retail price and quality is excellent, along with some rare footage.But I hope more Olivia Newton-John DVD's are issued, especially her famous "Physical" video music album, previously available on VHS.
8 "Totally Hot" Vintage Olivia!!!!
At last, Olivia fans have a DVD video collection to call their own! New from the "20th Century Masters Collection" is this budget DVD with five Olivia videos to enjoy. Although three of the videos are quite similar, considering that they each feature video from Olivia's photo shoot from her "Totally Hot" album cover, and of Olivia recording in the studio, this is a must have for her fans. Olivia never looked better, and it's all there for us to enjoy! Fans of cheesy, early 80's videos will appreciate the videos "Heart Attack" and Olivia's most popular song, "Physical." Hopefully, with enough positive responses, we'll see more Olivia music DVD's to come in the near future.
9 What's up with the audio playback on computer DVD drives?!
It seems the audio in all these "20th Century Masters - DVD Collections" is nothing but static when played on a computer DVD drive (tried 3 different one's!), but when played on a regular standalone DVD player it plays fine. Why is that?
10 It's TOTALLY HOT!!!!!!
For years us "HARD CORE" Olivia have been craving for some of her greatest videos to come out on DVD. (...)The five selected are fine for those who are Oliva novice who enjoy her music. But for those who have followed her carrer, this compilation is only a "light snack".
For starters."Physical" was virtually a video album at the time. Hits like " Landslide"( with her red "HOT" former husband Matt Litanzi) " Make A Move On Me" " Fallen" " Recovery" and "Carried Away" all have videos and are not on this DVD. Not to mention videos such as "Magic" "Soul Kiss" " The Rumour" and my personal favorite " I Need Love" ( and that is only a few to say the least) are not on this DVD. I would have love to seen more but right now I am content with this wonderful gem.
But just to see " A Little More Love" once again just makes me warm all over again. that was during Olivia's RED Hot phase where both Men and Women were wishing to see more of the "Love Goddess". And "Totally Hot" ( bad video transfer but still great) Filmed at Cenurty City Plaza before her TV special in 78 still makes me drool. Olivia could do no wrong. (...)Her sexuallity outshined most female performers at that time.Olivia just walking up the escalators in the video is a true testimony of that claim.
The only negative is " Physical" for it's pure CHEESYNESS but it was her biggest hit therefore it must be represented.
Overall.The DVD is great and highly recommended.I hope she puts out more of her other past videos but for now I will just keep looking at " Little More Love" wishing I was the lighting guy ( another amazing video where all you can say is..............Dang).
As you can see I am a big fan. And if there are others like me ( which I know there are). Buy it, enjoy it, and be happy.
11 Let's Get A DVD, DVD, ...
Wow! The Goddess finally has a music DVD. While this is a budget compilation and only contains 5 tracks, it is still a very nice start, as the videos included have never been available on any legit DVD and 3 of them were never even released on VHS! Another reason to buy this is the eye-candy on the cover--Olivia gone physical! Let's hope there will be more DVD's to come from this artist I consider "the greatest singer on earth".
12 Olivia finally gets her own DVD.....
...Kudos to Hip-O for listening to the fans and not bringing us another issue of GREASE songs. Instead, they've dipped into the vaults for some lesser seen videos(from her FANTASTIC album "Totally Hot") and, of course, Physical(an obvious choice and most her celebrated video as it won a Grammy Award in it's day) and Heart Attack. Let's hope this one is a success and Hip-O brings us either a volume 2 or the full on DVD's of her Physical video album and her videos from the movie "Two of a Kind" and her solo project "Soul Kiss".

Some of her videos are on VH1 Classic alot, some of these are not.
Very cool to finally get them.
(BTW-Blondie's 1979 album EAT TO THE BEAT was also made into a longform video with every song being incorporated into a video. That was 2 years before Livvy's PHYSICAL, so she wasn't the first...)

At long last! Not only a DVD of Olivia music videos, but her most coveted: the Totally Hot tracks!
This should have been a full-fledged Greatest Video Hits release, but hopefully more will follow!
15 At Last, The Gorgeous Olivia Newton-John On DVD
This has been a long time coming. But alas, Hip-O Records is releasing several Olivia music videos on DVD. Olivia has been a pioneer for music video. Her 1981 television special "Physical" was revolutionary. She was the first artist to make a video album. Meaning every song on the album was made into a music video and released as an hour long prime time television event. The 1981 video collection was a huge best seller, as was the album and single of the same name.
Here in this DVD collection, we get the obligatory video of "Physical". Also included are video tracks from her earlier smash hit album "Totally Hot". The videos from the 1978 album are very rare and make this DVD worth the purchase. You must see Olivia in these videos still riding high from her GREASE success and looking simply beautiful.
I must say this is a wonderful collection even if it is only 5 songs. Hopefully there will be more Olivia video releases to follow.
