1 The best Disney movie ever made!
Well, I don't like the original Disney movies because I outgrew them. I use to watch this movie a lot when I was in middle school and now I'm 23 and I still enjoy it. I think it's so funny. I enjoy some Disney movies like Aladdin, The Lion King, and Pinocchio but this one is far the best a lot better than the Goofy cartoons. I use to watch the Goof cartoons a lot everyday after school when I was very lil and when I heard that they made a movie out of it I was happy to hear that and it was the movie was awesome. I watched the sequel to A Goofy Movie and it was okay but the first one is really the best. You will enjoy it if your a Goofy fan.
2 A Sustained Work of Goofy-Dom ...
The trick in most Goofy titles, is that the schtick needs to be paced. The cartoons allowed for a frenetic pace which was often offset by another characters style. Well, this movie succeeds in sustaining the style of Goofy, with a story that has a cast of many other funny characters.
For a Franco-American co-production, it does ( for me ) come as a surprise that this has been achieved. However, the answer lies in the traditional animation style, and a strong script.
Bill Farmer's voice work is totally awesome in this film, as in the Casper series, and he captures the reinvented Goofy that came to screens with the series developed around or after the success of DUCK TALES.
Stylistically, the Characters were re-done for the "modern" audience, and unfortunately were part of the Disney downgrade of the style of drawing that has led to the cessation of traditional animation methods. The problem I have with this is not the shift to a totally computer generated form, but that the style as evinced by people like the Masterful Carl Barks, but that for all the high tech gadgets that Disney has its command, it cannot do the simple thing of copy the classic style.
Fortunately, A GOOFY MOVIE maintains the high visual standards, but is one of a limited number of films that led up to dross like TWICE UPON A CHRISTMAS.
The gags in this film are brilliant; case in point, Big Foots Dance sequence as the backdrop to a moving scene with Max and Goofy... its clearly a reference for Adults, since the music and the Dance sequence is so 70's. And the entire movie combines classic Goofy material together with contemporary references, in such a manner that the style of the Saturday Cartoon series that featured Goofy, Max , Pete, and etc, is emulated very well.
Totally worth it for the fan of Goofy and the cartoon series of the 90s.
3 one of the most stupid movies I've ever seen!
well, its difinitely one of the worth disney catroons since I saw Cinderella 2! disney's animation is technically pretty good as usual but the scenario was dumb and stupid even for children under 5! there is absolutely no adventure too! just a family boring movie in case of a cartoon. I give this movie zero stars but the dvd was complete and has satisfaction guarantee. If you are a cartoon collector, you should have this DVD for its brilliant special features and documentaries but if you only want to watch a cartoon, I never propose to waste your time! I thik this DVD deserves 2 stars...
4 Great movie because it reminds me....
this movie was one of the greatest because it reminds me of when mike was still a loser and rossler was still with the good guys and he was a resident evil freak. he used to be like girls are nasty and icky but then he transformed into a beast like in beauty and the beast for not surviving himself i dont understand what is going on in this world everyone is turning evil and bad i really dont understand its like armageddon am i right and it was when i had my chance to make it big as a successor and a world's inspired preacher but it was not meant to be as i am just a mear teacher just like KRS ONE it reminds me of when i was a young lad around 9 or 11 years old and mike used to love this movie and was watching it all the time and mike said i know 2+2 and he said i know how to spell OFF. it is O-F-F. but now hes disgracing the teacher who is me and is spiting at the one who created him. and he used to like cybiko and all that and he liked amanda bynes and was watching her every morning on channel 6 on nickelodeon and he liked ren and stimpy but now he is a monster and is infected with the G Virus which is bad
5 I think I love it more than my kids do!!
I think that I love this movie more than my kids do!!

I find myself singing along with the songs, and The story is very heartwarming. I relate to poor Max and his exasperation at some of his father's goofiness...I remember the days when I was mortified to be seen in public with my Parents!!

I loved it so much I went out and got the sequel "An extremely Goofy movie" and I was so sad to see that it did not live up to the original...no catchy music!! The music in the first one is the best part!! I was very dissapointed.

You will love this movie not only for the Music, but also for the lessons that it teaches your children about family. I have found a favorite for a lifetime!!

6 I can never get enough!
This is a great movie! I'm 19 and I've watched it over a dozen times. My parents got me the VHS when I was in sixth grade, I lost it and now bought the DVD. It has a fun feel to it, full of good humor for adults and kids, and a wonderful father-son story that makes me laugh and cry. Though not quite as epic as other Disney movies, this one is my personal favorite. I love the music as well, you can tell they put a lot of hard work into making this film and it paid off. Five stars. Spectacular.
7 Goofy !
I'm going to break from everyone's reviews here and say that I found this movie to be annoying, cheesy, and just plain dumb. I guess that's why everyone liked it, but I for one didn't. My husband thought it was great, my kids think it's great, and I can't wait to return it to the library.

If there's one thing I'm sick of, it's fathers being portrayed in the media as bumbling idiots...or insensitive control freaks and all the children in Disney movies it seems disrespect their parents.

I cannot think of a single Disney movie with a positive role model for a dad and with children who respect him, with the exception of Ol' Yeller, and in that case, the father is gone for 90% of the film.

Goofy is yet another addition to the "Stupid Fathers" club, and I'm disappointed to say the least, but not surprised. I only gave this one star because I can't give it zero.
8 Great!
This movie is awesome, except for the fact that it ends
with a kiss, ( which is kind of bad, with an exciting plot it
just ends with THAT.)
9 best movie ever
all i can say is that this is the best movie ever and every time i watch it the movie gets better and better. u never lose interest and never get bored watching this film one of the best purchases i have ever made.
10 The Best Movie Ever
A goofie Movie is an excellent collaboration of fantastic original music and hilarious quotable lines. It is one of the funniest disney, or any movie, of all times. And it is entirely appropriate for all ages. Everyone, everywhere will most certainly enjoy this. And, you will surely be singing along to all the great 'Powerline' hits.
11 A great movie!
This came out two years before my 1st daughter's birth. Four years later when she was old enough, my sister gave it to me with a load of other videos. This has always been her favorite, and now her other brothers and sisters love it too.

It teaches a good message about father and son. My favorite party is the music, which I have on my computer and play for my kids all the time! Our favorite is the Powerline song and "Nobody Else but you" . If you love Goofy, or just are a movie fan, this is a great movie to buy.

12 This movie rocks!
I loved this movie from the first time I saw it! The Powerline songs are AWESOME!!! I'm in highschool and I love this movie still!!
13 Not one of my favorites, but still nice for younger children
After first sitting through this movie with my elder sister, I wondered how she managed to rope me into it. I was tired, groaning inwardly, and vowing to avoid this movie at all costs. Why three stars then, if it was such a brain killer? Because, for children around 8-13, and the occasional person such as my dear sister, it was a smash hit that would be remembered for years, or at least for a week. The Goofy antics, and a star cameo by none other than Bigfoot, had her rolling in stiches of laughter even while I was just rolling my eyes. Goofy stays in clutzy form with the extra trouble of single dadhood, while Max is the stereotypical "selfish only child" for a good part of the movie. However, there are a few characters I have to sheepishly admit liking, no matter how... colorful they where. As a Father-Son bonding movie, with memorable characters, and crazy antics it's so-so for adults but great for children.
14 Strong story ends with a weak ending
A Goofy Movie started out with a huge comical bang and strong storyline concerning father and son. The entire cast of toons and the music made it great fun. But just as Goofy snaps at his son on the edge of a road the writers feel the need to let Goofy's car roll off into the river. Thus killing the emotional compact that could have built up here. A Goofy movie fares as an average film due to this. And did we need to see Goofy and Max singing on top of a car floating in the river? This was the only lame musical number in the movie. A Goofy Movie had the potential to be a great film but sadly they tripped at the finish line.
15 iiiiiiiiiit's BIIIIIIIIG FOOOOOOOOOT!!!!!
I first saw this when I was in 5th grade(around the time that this came out), and must have watched it about 3 million times during that year... and guuuueeees whaaaaat? 10 years later, at age 20,, I STILL LOVE IT! It has a good story that I bet everyone once related too sometime in high school... plus the songs, while corny, are very catchy(i love the "Open Road" song), and the "Big Foot" scene is hillarious :)

This is a great 90s classic, and a true memory of back when Disney actually made GOOD stuff [...]

16 It's the leaning tower of cheesa~~~
OH god this movie is great. I saw it for the first time when I was probably 8 or 9 and I used to hate Goofy. I saw the movie and I absolutely fell in love with it. I just bought the DVD a couple of days ago and still love it. It is definatly one of my favorite Disney movies--I can't go throught watching it once without cracking up hysterically every time. It's the movie I remember making me remember who Pauley Shore was and the first time I'd ever seen Bigfoot disco to the Bee Gees. It's definatly a classic.
17 I love this movie!
I watch this movie everyday and I know all the words to the songs! I think everyone will like it. It's so funny and it's has alot to do with teenagers in a cartoon way. You should get it.
18 One of My all time faves!
The story is about Goofy`s son Max who despreatley wants to impress a girl (Roxanne). On the last day of school he puts on this elaborate number done by a famous rock star (Powerline)! When Goofy finds out he decides Max is a gang member (based on the princiables desription of what happened)(Pete had tried to cinvince him of this earlier) To try to "help" he decides to take Max fishing in Iadaho(just like his dad did with him) At the same time Roxanne has accepeted an invitaion to watch Powerline on cable at a party with Max! When Max tells her she says she can find somebody else (not meanly more upset). Max upset tells her he is going to the concert in L.A because his dad used to play in a band with Powerline and he was hoping to wave to her onstage when he joins Powerline for the final number. I don`t want to give away any more. I Highly Suggest You Buy This Movie
19 There's a HUUUGE reason why I give this DVD a full 5 stars!!
I know, I know! I had stated on the IMDb my comments about having a so-so feeling about this movie! I know all that! (blush) But there is a HUGE REASON why I give this DVD a full FIVE STAR rating! A WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL reason for we longtime Goofy lovers everywhere!

CALLING ALL GOOFY FANS FROM YEARS GONE BY! This DVD has as an added bonus feature the COMPLETE Walt Disney Presents episode "A GOOFY SUCCESS STORY"!!! Complete with Walt himself introducing it and EVERYTHING! It's just as charming as you remember it, and it makes this DVD a MUST OWN FOR GOOFY FANS EVERYWHERE! Even if you wouldn't dare touch "A Goofy Movie" with a ten-foot cattle prod, get it just for THIS! YOU WON'T BE DISAPPOINTED!

20 Who's your favorite possum?
I don't think anyone should feel embarrassed admitting that they like this movie- it's great! Yes, I did first see it when I was in...middle school, I think, but it is SUCH a classic! Very funny- very cool, and- it's goofy! It even has cool music! (powerline...! :) )
I've since graduated, and now I work in a kids-care center and see this movie ATLEAST three times a week, and I still love it! In fact, if it's my decision what movie gets put in, 9 times out of 10 this is what I'll choose!

(answer: LESTER!)

21 Did not expect this!
This movie kicked serious booty! It may not seem as good as it looks- but to me it was worth my while. Great character design, great animation, great storyline and very real in the way each generation is bizarrely different! I never liked goofy until i saw this movie. Max, Goofy's son, was clearly my favorite. Some of the road trip stops made me fall over laughing, and the climax/ outcomes of the movie were very unpredictable! I actually enjoyed the characters in the movie! Kids, teens and adults will like this movie. I liked it, and being a teenager myself, I don't feel embarrassed to comment the movie- I watched it when I was little, and now i watched it recently- honestly not expecting much- but i liked it! I enjoyed it so much I gave it 5 stars. The songs are slightly out of whack but I liked it all in all. Try it out!
22 If you don't own this movie, buy it NOW!!
I first saw this movie when I was a junior in high school 7 years ago. I watched this movie at least once a weekend the rest of my high school career. My VHS copy is about to wear out. This is my all-time favorite (recent)Disney movie. It has great songs. I have every one memorized. I recommend this movie to anyone who loves animated movies and/or Goofy.
23 A Goofy Review
This movie rocks! It is the best movie that you can see with goofy, and his son max in it. The movie starts off with Max dreaming about a girl that he likes. While walking to school that day, he starts to sing about the summer. Later, his school has an assembly. Max messes up the assembly by throwing some kind of concert to get the girl to notice him. It works, and he has to go to see the principal. Max gets a date with the girl. He ends up being famous at school. Then Max goes home to find out that him and his dad are going on a vacation. Max tells the girl that he is going to the powerline(everybodys favorite band)concert. On the trip Max and his dad Goofy meet up with Max's friend P.J. and his dad. They also come face to face with bigfoot and also fall down a waterfall. Max finally ends up at the powerline concert, even though he and Goofy have to sneak in. While Max is running away from a security gaurd, Goofy is dancing on stage. Max ends up on stage dancing too. Everybody sees him on t.v. The music in this movie is great! This movie is a must see for all goofy fans!

26 Excellent 'Goofy' movie, for what it's meant to be...
Had this movie been made as a full fledge addition to Disney's classic library, this would not do. But just as a pleasent revisit to one of Disney's all time great characters, it better than O.K.

The movie deals with a story that I'm sure most sons and dads can relate to, the seperation that begins as the son grows and wants more independence. Max, Goofy's son, has a crush on a girl but a recent event at school leads Goofy to believe that he hasn't been paying much attention to his son. So Goofy plans a road trip for the summer, much to Max's dismay. But before they leave, Max lies to his friends by saying that he is going to L.A to a concert of a popular singer. When Goofy puts Max in charge of the map, he deceives his father by re-routing their trip through L.A., so he can be popular in the eys of his girl

The movie is well done, no contrived story or anything like that. Had it been inducted into the "Disney Classic" library, a lot more work would have needed to be done as far as quality goes.

The DVD unfortunately, does not present the film in it's original aspect ratio, but does make up for it by including two Goofy Cartoons, each about 20 mins. The first one is recent, "Calling All Goofs" dealing with a Goof family reunion. And the second one is vintage with Goofy helping Donald and Mickey escape from their angry (and unpaid) landlord.

27 A Very Good Movie
I don't know how this one got by me. We always go see all Disney animated movies in the theatre. I don't think it played very long or was only shown at selected times of the day. Whatever! All in all this was really a pleasant surprise. It was great fun. It was funny. Underneath it all it is a good story of a dad learning about his son and visa versa. The generation gap lives on and will continue to live on and that really is part of life and living. I really liked this movie.
28 The coolest Disney movie around!
I first saw this movie when I was in 4th. grade. My babysitter had it first, but her kids are older and they don't watch it anymore. I watched it two times in a row in one day and fell in love with it! My babsitter asked if I wanted it. I sayed you bet I do! I love the addictive songs and the catchy music! I have the soundtrack too. It's about an uncool teenager, Max (voiced by Jason Marsden) who wants to act cool. But it's hard for him to act cool when his dad is "Goofy." (voiced by Bill Farmer) Everyone in his highschool always laughs at him because his dad always kisses him in front of everyone, and he falls over sometimes. But Max really likes this one girl, Roxanne. (voiced by Kelly Martin) Roxanne doesn't think he's goofy or wierd at all. But Max isn't so sure how to make her like him-except on the last day of school he thinks up a plan with his two buddies. So in front of the whole school he impresses her by doing a dance to his favorite music by the coolest rockstar on the planet, Powerline. (voiced by Tevin Campbell) After that he has to go to the principals office. Roxanne tells him she liked his dance. So they make plans to go to this Powerline party. Then the principal exagerates what Max did to his dad. Then Max finds out his dad wants him to go on vacation with him! He tells Roxanne a lie that he's actually going to the Powerline Concert instead of telling her he's going on vacation with his dad. I won't tell you anymore about the movie or I'll give the movie suprises away! This is a must have!!!!!!
29 A Great Disney Movie!!!
"A Goofy Movie" is one of my very favorite Disney movies, if not my very favorite. I watched it for the first time on video when I was a 4th grader, and loved it. Then I forgot about it for awhile, until I found it on the shelf at the Library last year (I'm now 15) and loved it just as much (or more!) as the first time I viewed it!! I can not get enough of it! My older brother, who will be going to a prestegious University in the Fall also loves it as well. Do not listen to the so-called "professionals" when they say it is a "lesser disney movie" and only for the young - because my older brother, my mom and I like it more than even my 6 year old brother!!

Max (voiced by Jason Marsden) is an uncool teenager who despertly wants the attention of his crush, Roxanne, but seems to mess us when he tries to talk to her. So, on the last day of school with the help of his 2 buddies, he pulls a ABSOLUTLY hillarious and awesome stunt to impress her in front of the whole school -(this is one of my favorite scenes!!)-, but he gets caught by the Principle who exagerates what Max did to Max's dad. Even though he thinks he messed it up by getting caught, he goes from a nobody, to popular because he made the last day of school assembly awesome. Roxanne comes up to him, and they make plans for a upcoming party. He feels ontop of the world but comes home to devasting news - his dad (Goofy voiced by Bill Farmer) who is well-meaning but very goofy feels that taking Max on a LONG road trip to a lake with him will shape him up by having them bond more.

Max, extremely upset, has to change his plans with Roxanne. But he lies to her telling her he will appear at the Powerline Concert dancing on stage and will wave to her while she watches it at the party. (Powerline is like what Justin Timberlake is today) Max and Goofy set off on the trip with hillarious adventours and mishaps along the way. The end is spitacluar, (something any teen would want to do) hillarious, absoutly GREAT! (I consider the ending scene also one of the best parts!!)

Everything in the movie fits very well together, guarenteed to make you laugh ATLEAST once ~ many more for me that is for sure! The songs are very catchy and one of the best assests to the movie! I tried to get the orginial soundtrack but I can't find it anywhere. The sequel is funny, but is NOTHING compared to the first. I rank "A Goofy Movie" right up there with Disney's Robin Hood and all the other classics! A must see for EVERYONE kids, teens and adults!!

30 The best Disney movie ever!
I have seen almost every Disney movie, but this is one of the best movies ever!(The sequal I didn't like, it had nothing to do with this one.) I can't beleive this isn't a Disney classic! Anyway, the songs are catchy, and some scenes still make me laugh so hard! A very good movie for young kids, teenagers as well as adults.
31 This is a good movie for all ages!!!
I've seen this movie so many times I lost count.! Its one of the best Disney movies ever made, yes its still pretty sappy yet it shows the struggles between a teen son and his father very well.! Max is in his last day of school for the summer and is looking to impress Roxanne his crush. He get's his friend PJ to lone him his dad's camcorder and the audio video cheeze whiz obsessed freak to help him out with equipment to do his thang on during the school assembly. He struts his stuff on the stage, but get's caught by principle mazer, but later finds out he still managed to impress Roxanne! They end up asking eachother out to Stacies starting of summer party for the powerline concert on pay per view.!The principle calls Max's dad and dramaticlly overeacts and tells him that if he doesn't straighten up Max soon he'll end up in the electric chair...Desperate to save Max from prison Goofy(his father)decides its time to take Max on a fishing drip to Lake Destiny,Idaho like him and his father used to do,but Max doesn't want to and then he has to tell Roxanne that he can't go to the party with her,she decides she should find someone else to go with so Max desperate to keep her he tells her he's going to the Powerline concert and that his dad knows Powerline and that he'll wave to her in the final number...Then they're he's to lake destiny with his dad and is totally grumpy...And well to find out the rest go rent or buy this movie "A Goofy Movie" will NOT let you down!!!Suitable for the whole family to watch!!!
32 One of My Favorites
I first saw this movie in theaters when I was about 10, but now, 5 years later, I still love it! This story is about Max, a teenage boy who doesn't really fit in, and Goofy, his dad. When Max pulls an outragous stunt to get a girl he has a crush on to notice him, it works! Max gets invited to watch the Powerline (a rock star) concert on tv with her. But when he gets home, Goofy surprises him with a father-son fishing trip across the country. The story tells about Max, his relationship with his father, and his desprate struggle to impress Roxanne. The original music is amazing and the stroyline is interesting and well done. It makes a great gift for any child or anyone who is a child-at-heart.
33 Great for teens as well as younger viewers
The editorial review says that the movie is strictly for young kids-- don't believe it. I'm 14 years old and A Goofy Movie is still one of my favorite movies. I truly think this is the best Disney movie that has ever been made. The songs are catchy, the storyline is something most teens can identify with, and the level of animation is excellent, as is the voice acting. Why this movie wasn't a bigger hit than it was is beyond me.
34 Awesome!
It's so funny to compare the editorial reviews to the ones from people who are being honest! Read the ones for A Goofy Movie and see how they try so hard to be above it! Everyone loves this movie! The songs, the animation, the story, the characters, everything was excellent! Nothing low quality here, not compared to any Disney Classic! This is up there with the best of them! And Jason Marsden has such a great voice for animation! This is an A+ movie that it seems everyone loves!
35 second greatest movie ever!
I first decided to watch this movie because I heard that Jason Marsden (who is the cutest and most talented actor ever!) did the voice of Goofy's teenage son Max. But my best friend and I soon found ourselves watching it twice in a row and singing along with all of the catchy tunes (yes, I'm aware that sounds stupid) and reciting our favorite lines. I also saw the sequel (X-tremely Goofy Movie) and loved it as well. This movie was hilarious and is Disney's greatest accomplishment because it's a movie that both kids and parents can relate to. Next to one of Jason's other movies, "White Squall" (1996) this is the greatest movie I've ever seen. I'm going to buy the soundtrack and a copy of the movie itself. The cast did a brilliant job, the writers should be seriously congratulated, and the songs were terrific. This movie is outstanding and definitely deserves more than 5 stars.
36 Good Honest Storytelling.
Well this movie came to a big suprise. I'll admit it, I'm 20 years old, and I LOVE this movie. Most family films tend to have shallow scripts, and mindless slapstick that are just meant to entertain insted of entrall, this movie is so much better than that. This movie illustrates best how unconfortable it can sometimes be to grow up when you're a teenager. And, most importantly, this movie shows us a honest story about the relationship between a father and a teenage son. Like in all good stories, the characters in this movie go on a physical and mental journey. Honest situations and true-to-life characters (other than the fact that they are talking dogs) make this very enjoyable.

Unfortunately the DVD is almost featureless, and doesn't even have widescreen.

It claimes to reccomended for all ages, and it's right. This is truely something everyone can enjoy. Most Highly Reccomended.

39 I love it
This is one of my favorite movies. I could watch it non-stop and I never get tierd of it. My brothers(who absolutely hate disney and pauly shore movies) even liked it. Bravo Disney! Bravo to the cast too(especially Pauly)! I love this movie and I'm very glad I own it.
40 Great movie Poor print though...
I bought the re-release of A Goofy Movie last week and I thought that the film print could have been better. The film has not aged well in terms of quality. The Colors are not as sharp. Jason Marsdon (Talking) and AAron Lohr(singing) did a great job in bring Max to life on the screen... All in all, I still like the movie. The extras are cool except for the Goof Troop cartoon.Max loked like a dork! I even watched it in other languages! It is a hoot! In each language the titles are different. hearing the voices in different languages is a scream! (especially the voice of Goofy in other languages)
41 Great movie, but why pan & scan?
A true family film, fun for all ages. Funny, well defined characters, and a good story. A Goofy Movie is likely one of the most over looked Disney films, it's also one of the best. I rate A Goofy movie right up there with Tarzan. So why did I only rate it a three? Pan and Scan. This Movie should be 1.66:1 not 1.33:1(full screen TV). They lopped a chunk of the picture off each side.

Also check out "An Extremely Goofy Movie", it is just as much fun and the DVD version has not been hacked. The full original 1.66:1 picture is there.

42 A Goofy Movie
I watched this movie before. When I was 3 years old I beguin to watch that movie. It is so cool and good!
43 Worth Buying on DVD!
After I saw "A Goofy Movie" on VHS, I instantly wanted to purchase it. But I thought it would be better to wait until it was released on DVD. And I was right. The DVD version is great, and worth the wait! I love the extras and along with the movie, makes this a must purchase DVD!
44 All these customer reviews are . . . RIGHT!
The editorial review calls this a lesser effort by Disney. As a father, I have to say that I don't know of a more touching father-son story than "A Goofy Movie." I'm a sensible 32 year-old man and I was moved nearly to tears by this "non-classic." This movie is very funny, too. The incidents that happen to Goofy and his son Max are cartoonish, sure, but they ring true. You will find yourself really caring what happens to these bizarre dog-headed people! Ignore the "professional" reviews, buy the movie and then go find "An Extremely Goofy Movie" because that one's just as good.
45 Great Great Movie!
It is so surprising to find a movie like this that is so enjoyable for children, teenagers, and adults as well. The story is about a teenager named Max who deals with typical teenage problems. He tries to impress a girl whom he likes, tries to fit in, and tries to avoid his "Goofy" dad, all at the same time. I've enjoyed this movie since I first saw it when I was ten. But now looking back on it, I really empathize with Max and the realistic portrayal of a teen and his troubles. This movie also has great songs that are surprisingly catchy and tons of hilarious moments that will have you laughing out loud. I highly recommend this movie to any one of any age!
46 It's Disney's Best Work EVER!
Disney has a history of GREAT movies and this one takes the cake. It's a great story about the "bond between a father and his son." It's very touching and has a heart felt story. I loved the way that Max, Goofy's son, and Goofy were able to get through all the little trajedies and still wind up on top.
47 A Goofy Movie
This is my family's favorite Disney movie by far. I think me and my husband laugh more than the kids. We shared it with friends and we had a hard time getting it back they enjoyed it so much. We are talking late 20's to early 30's in age and some without kids. You will really enjoy it! It's fun and clean. Not offensive like some movies tend to be.
48 18 AND STILL MY FAVORITE MOVIE! ! !
I have enjoyed this movie countless times: It displays a wonderful father son relationship, as well as a touching story between Max and Roxanne's relationship with its ups and downs. Filled with great music, and some neat moves by Goofy and Max, it's sure to become a classic. I love it...Mike
49 The best Disney movie ever!
Walt Disney had only one thing in mind while creating films for the world. He wanted something that could be looked at as enjoyable by not only children but adults as well. Many people don't realize how much Disney loved childen, but with the advances made in the movie industry by Disney Corporation, I am sure he would be proud.
50 A teenager's review...
I watched "A Goofy Movie" tonight when I was babysitting. The kids loved it and I enjoyed it too. This movie contains enough of the little things to be appealing to children of all ages...including teens...like me. I don't think I've seen a better Disney movie. This one has to be my faveorite. The music was good for people of all ages and I have been searching the internet for the soundtrack. It's not every day that you see a teenager rave about PG movie. Excellent Job Disney!
51 A GOOFY MOVIE
If you have kids age 3 through 8.They will love this movie.Yet this movie is old but never looses a childes attion. I have 2 kids and a god daughter and they all love to sit around and sing along with the movie. I have personly watched this movie and loved it. I would recomend it to any adult.
52 A Goofy Movie
I think "A Goofy Movie" is a great movie. It is one of my favorites, because Goofy is my favorite cartoon figure. I would recomend this movie to little kids and older kids. It is a great pre-teen movie.
53 Disney at its finest. A superb movie.
A Goofy Movie ranks upon my top 5 favorites. It gives an accurate representation of adolescent life in an uplifting, comedic, and often heartwarming fashion. The animation is good, the songs are great, the screenplay is superb, the voices fit each character perfectly (Especially Max's. Good job Mr. Marsden!) and many nice cinematic effects are included. This "kids" movie is a real treat to the older, and, at times is symbolic of deeper messages. A real winner that should be in the hands of any Goofy, Disney, or movie fan, for that matter!
54 A unique blend of teenage drama and Goofy-ness
"I'd like to say like "yea" to Disney for creating this totally hilarious movie." A blend of teenage drama and Goofy-ness, this movie has wonderful characters as well as a spectacular soundtrack. The quality of the animation is surprising for a film that got hardly any publicity while out in theatres.
55 really cool!
I thought that the movie was really cool. I saw this when I was in South Carolina... I wasn't happy being there... Anyway It seemed the movie played like my vacation! I thought that the Scene with Bigfoot sleeping(Loudly) on top of the car was funny. My sister's hubby snores just like that! The Film has a positive message that we all need to spend more time with our kids. Disney did a great job with this movie... I watch it as often as possible...
56 I'm buying it
This is one of my very very most favorite movies in all the whole wide world! It is very off the wall and in that sense reminds me of my mother. I didn't expect to laugh because I think cartoons are stupid, but I watched this twice in a row (I never do that) and laughed until my sides ached both times! And I am a woman with "culture" and don't even live with kids (presently) so I'm not even used to watching little kids movies. It's just cute.
57 Great movie, great memories, great review
Well, I just have one thing to say, and that is the movie is GREAT!! I watched this in '95, when I was in a mid teens and shall I say, "I totally loved it! Totally!!" Well, I watched again just recently and I think that it's still a very good movie. Though there are some details that I'm sure people can fight about, but all in all, I think it's great for all ages. It's family value packed while having some teenage things in there. So, great movie.
58 The funniest movie if you're into these kinds of things.
The movie started out when Max had a nightmare about him and Roxanne playing in the grains, and ended when Goofy approved Roxanne could be Max's date forever. Due to its electronical and teenage themes, be SURE that your copy of this tape has the erasure-protection tab removed.
59 An entertaining movie for kids, but not a great story
This movie is not based on the original Goofy. The music and rhythm is certainly the 90s and the story takes place when Max was thirteen years old. This is definitely a movie for the youngsters and the recent teens, and is not aimed at the adults unless they are on a scientific trip.
60 The best movie we've seen in our lives ! !
We both love this movie very much and we are ever teenagers! My favorite part is when Goofy and Max sing "On the Open Road." So go rent(or buy) this movie and grab the popcorn...!
61 I love this movie.
I am in love with Goffy and I just am diggn' Max. If you haven't seen this movie go find it, or buy it here.
62 Day-Care Crud
I'm suprised Disney would ever make a Day-Care video quality movie. But they did with A Goofy Movie.[The name suits it quite fine]A 1,at best.
63 Wonderful movie with a lesson!
A Goofy Movie is a wonderful children's movie that focuses on a father-son relationship that seems to get lost in the generation gap. It also sports a lesson to be learned in pretending to be what you are not as well as lessons on lying and on trust. Amidst these mainstreams, it is non-stop, fun filled, Goofy song and dance with just the right amount of humor. A great video in the Disney tradition for all ages!
