1 Great spirit lift with funny stories
This is a great book to lift your spirits, and the stories are funny and heartwarming. It is easy to read, and the short stories make you thirsty for more. I can't wait for the next book!
2 A Great Read
I enjoyed this book immensely! I would recommend this book to anyone who ever lived on a farm, grew up in the 60's and 70's, or likes the format of each chapter being a stand alone story.
This book is a better read than some of the "Chicken Soup" books...so if you like them, you would love this one.
3 Uncontrollable laughter 'n good feelings!
This book is not only immensely hilarious, but is also written with a lot of heart and soul. D.D. Dunn writes story after story about her memorable, life-learning events that took place in her growing up years. Her sense of humor is constant and her healthy outlook about life is refreshing. I laughed uncontrollably many times throughout this book. I am looking forward to reading and enjoying her next book! Meanwhile, I will re-read a story or two of hers from time to time for a good dose of humor. Thanks for the good feelings! I'm still smiling.

How refreshing to pick up a book that keeps you grinning all the way through -----no dirty words----no violence-----just funny stories that everyone who has a sister or a brother can relate to. D.D. Dunn's descriptive ability helped me to visualize all of the "goings on" in the book and made me feel as if I were there also. Guaranteed to make you smile.
