1 Not so great
This books are full of syntax errors and answer errors. Most of the syntax example does not include a diagram, a lot of guessing game here. You got to imagine the network yourself. Most of the explanations are also not very clear.

I bought many book by Sybex, this is the only book that disappoint me.

Not a good buy. I gave it two stars for thier effort.

2 EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO PASS BSCI EXAM
This is it! This is all you need to pass the BSCI exam! This book is much more interesting than the Cisco Press books. All the information is very well presented, organized and easy to read.

The review questions were extremely useful and helped me understand the topic even better. I also went through the flash cards on my PDA the morning of the exams.

This book definitely prepared me for the BSCI exam.

3 Everything you need for the BSCI
This book had everything that I need to pass the BSCI exam. The layout and tables make the concepts easy to understand and learn. I would highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to get their CCNP!

4 A must have book for Cisco's new 642-801 BSCI Exam
Carl has done an excellent job with the book. I used the book to successfully pass my BSCI exam.

The chapters are very well organized and have very clear examples and screen shots from actual configurations of Cisco routers.

The book starts off with a review of basic routing and IP addressing and follows with a more detailed examination of NAT and the various interior and exterior routing protocols, policy based routing and redistribution.

The command summary, written / hands on labs and review questions at the end of each chapter and the flash cards on the CDROM really helped alot for the exam.
