1 a sweetly college story with a touch of teen horror
I've just finished this book and i think it was great!
Tina and her cousin Holly visit Tina's boyfriend Josh on Patterson College. Tina can't wait to see him, but when they arrive nobody is there. After a while Josh's roommate Chris takes them from the train station. He tells them, Josh is still on a camping trip in the mountains and can't come back, because of snow. Tina is disappointed, but soon Holly and Chris persuade her to come to a party with them. There Tina loses Holly and is alone with Chris, who seems to become more and more interested in her - and doesn't interested in finding Holly. But Tina has to think of Josh so often and when she kisses Chris she feels very sorry and starts to miss Josh even more. In fact Tina starts to see signs that show her that Josh can't be on a camping trip. Chris or his friend Carla? Anybody lies and Tina has to find out!
So, that's a "short" version of this book. But, of course, I don't tell, who the "murderer" is like some other reviewers.
I hope i could help you with your decision for buying this book. I really recommend it, but the beginning is a bit boring - so, 4 Stars!
2 It's not just a college weekend--it's a terror weekend
Tina Rivers is super excited about visiting her boyfriend Josh Martin at Patterson College. She doesn't even mind that her cousin Holly is coming with her. But right as she arrives at the college, terror strikes. Josh's roommate Christopher Roberts says that Josh is delayed by snow trouble in the mountains. But Josh never said anything about going to the mountains. And suddenly Holly disappears. Christopher doesn't seem to care, though. All he cares about is getting what he wants--and the things he wants aren't good things.

The murderer in this, Cristopher, is obvious. Who he kills is the mystery. Knowing who the murderer was made it scarier. Out of all the Fear Street books, Christopher has got to be one of the craziest killers. Anyway, I really loved this book but I didn't give it five stars for one reason. The ending went way too fast. When you're reading, it feels like there's much more things coming. But you soon realize that the book is practically over.

Overall, it was a great Fear Street book.

3 I am crudless
This book scared the crud out of me, mainly cause you knew who the killer was, which it made obviouse on purpose, and you just keep waiting for the moment when the person will strike. And i honestly could not put the book down it is the only one where i forgot i had to go to the bathroom, or dinner was ready, and i think this might be my favorite fear street. I highly ^ recommend this book.

4 College Weekend
The Book I read was College Weekend by R.L. Stine. This book takes place at Patterson College. A senior in high school named Tina is visiting her boyfriend,Josh, for he weekend. Tina and Josh have not seen eachother in 3 months. Tina's cousin,Holly, is visiting as well. Tina and Holly planned on meeting Josh at a train station, but when they arrived Josh wasn't there. Tina thought,"Well maybe he is running a couple of minutes late," but what turned into a couple of minutes was several hours. Finally Josh's room mate, Chris, came to pick up Holly and Tina because Josh went on a hiking trip and wouldn't be back later that night. Chris was going to take the girls back to their dorm. Tina noticed that was Chris was always checking her out. When Chris dropped the girls off at his dorm, Tina noticed something strange, Josh had always told her he had all sorts of picutes of her in his dorm, but Tina didn't notice any in the room. A girl named Carla was in Josh's dorm room. Carla was one of their college friends whos boyfriend, Steve, is on the hiking trip with Josh. Carla tells the girls that Chris was close with his old girlfriend, but she died in a sail boating accident and Chris hasn't dated anyone since. When Tina looked in Josh's closet she found his hiking boots in there,"Didn't Chris say he went on a hiking trip?" While the girls were waiting for Josh they went to a party. Chris tried to hit on Tina, Tina was shocked. After the party, Tina could not find Holly anywhere, she is missing and Josh hasn't returned from his trip. Is Josh really on a hiking trip? And why is Holly missing in action?
I enjoyed this book a great deal. It is a mixture of Mystery, Romance and Horror, which I like. It kept me wanting to turn the page. It also was shocking. I would recomend this book to anyone who enjoys solving mysteries. I would also recomend this book to 13 years and older.
5 Wow...
You knew the killer and it was all screwy dewy by the ending. It was pretty good, but not one of Stine's best. Didn't keep me in suspense AT ALL.
6 Fear Street: College Weekend
Tina was dying to see her boyfriend Josh, but when she got to the college were he was, he was in the mountains with "car trouble." Josh's roomate, Christopher Roberts, picks Tina and her cousin, Holly, and takes them to the dorm were Josh lives. But then suddenly Holly disappears. And.... read the book to find out what happens to Holly, and what happens to Josh and Tina.
7 MY REVIEW ON COLLEGE WEEKEND
I think college weekend was an excellent book it was a book about a girl who went to see her boyfriend and took her cusin with her when they got there her boyfriends room mate said that he went on a skieing trip and he will be back later on she noticed that her and that boy had a lot in common he began to like her they went to a party and her cusin disappeared she was worried her boyfriend still hasn't returned so she was scared she thinks that the room mate has something to do with it because his wife died and they thought he had something to do with and he did
8 VERYDISAPPOINTING
this book looked good at first, but it kept getting worse and worse.at the end,i wanted 2 stick an ax threw it and toss it in the fire.many things in it r not answered, many things.i saw the main suspect in the beginning, and thought it couldn't be him,'cause its always the last person u expect, and went jumping 2 the least suspected people, and took a lot of time wondering y it might b 1 of them, and it turned out 2 be the most obvious person, and they dont even say!! A BAD CHOICE,DONT READ IT!!
9 Wow!
This is one of the best Fear Street books. The reason I gave this book 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's also one of the most predictable books he has ever done. It is very thrilling and suspenceful though.

When Tina and her cousin Holly, go to visit Tina's boyfriend, Josh, his roomate Christopher tells them that he is stuck in the mountains. Then Holly disappears.

10 This was very interesting
This was a good book but it kind of left you hanging at the end... I really wish he would have gone more into depth at the end.. I rate this a 4 because it discribe the teen age life styles as they really are... Like he is a kid inside an adults body...that is all I have to say.
11 To Predictable
Usually, With Fear Street novels the end comes as acompletesurprise to me, which is why I like them so much. But this onedid not. There were not many characters, so you kinda had an idea who the killer was. The ending, though was really good which is why I gave this book 3 stars instead of 2. My Opinion? Take it or leave it. END
12 College Weekend
I rate this story 3 stars , because the story will be boring then interesting and suspensful. I wanted to read it , but thenIdidnt want to read it. The suspensful parts were full of action. thats what really kept me in this book. I think the title "College Weekend" doesn't match tis story very wel. Its an okay book.
13 Too violent for the world kids face today!
I read this book as a requirement for a children's literature class at a University. I can now see why schools do not allow the "Fear Street" books without parental permission.
14 I was disappointed!! *sniff*
This was a book filled with many components such as romance, horror, and suspense. It had all these cool things--but a bummer ending. It was sad and abrupt, and I felt like crying. Go ahead and read it if you like, but also bring your hankie.
15 It wasn't as good as his others.
This one book was kind of boring compared to his other books. It wasn't as suspenful as I thought it would be.
16 A bit suspenseful, but a little boring.
This book kept me on the edge of my seat. wondering what was going to happen next. But as the book drew to it's end, it was apparent.
17 He could've done better, but it was interesting!
I enjoyed reading this book very much. I've read several of his books about found them all very satisfying however, I think he could've done a way better job on this one. He should've finished it instead of leaving it the way he did!
18 Wow!
This book was the greatest. It was filled with romance and horror and a really creepy and gross ending which I like a lot. This book would be great to read on a stormy night or something. I give it a 2 thumbs up!
19 READ MY REVIEW
Of all the 25 to 30 Fear Street I've read, there were only one or two i'd give a 7 out of 10 to, the rest i'd give a 9.5 or a 10. Fear Street are the best books. After I read the back cover of College Weekend, to me it didn't sound to great, but it really surprised me. It was definately a 10. It had everything a book needs, mystery, horror, suspense, romance, and great detail(Stine puts excellent detail in his books). I finished this book in two days and I read it every chance I got. The detail was so great I had to take my time reading it. I always do that with Stine's books anyways. My advice to you is to go to a bookstore or library and get this book. I hope you read it and enjoy it as much as i did. P.S. I think this book would make a great movie!
