1 Great source of information
These books cover everything that I ran into on my CCNA test. I read them front to back and passed with 926!
The only thing you should be worried about if you just plan on buying these books to read, is that you'll need to get hands on practice with routers and switches!... you can pass without hands on, but it makes things a lot easier if you can work with them.
2 Great way to prepare for the CCNA Exam
If you're wanting to prepare yourself for Cisco's most popular networking certification, this is a terrific way to do it. This book will do a excellent job of helping you master the concepts. Remember those teachers in high school who would hand out a study guide, and then the test would be the exact same thing? By the way, make sure to explore the questions on the bundled CD! Many people who have failed the exam complain of the language and wording it is written in, and these practice questions will aid you in your familiarity with "Cisconese".

Thus far the whole Amazon Market place from A-Z has been great. The entire experince from finding the correct material to ordering it through via: e-commerce was wonderful. 4 Great Book
The Preparation library was extremely detailed, and helpful. It has good examples, and review questions, and the CD-ROM of test questions was especially useful. The Preparation library explains every topic in great detail, including IPX, GNS, and SAP filters; much more than was actually needed to pass the exam. With the preparation library, and some additional sample tests, I scored very well on the exam. I would definitely recommended it for your CCNA studying.
5 The best bundle for exam certification!!!
This is the best book set for the exam preparation. I got a 967/1000 in the exam!!!. These books go into every topic of the exam deeply. The questions as well as the practice exam (in the cdrom) are the definitively training to pass the exam.
6 Excellent Resource
This book series more than prepared me for the exam. I passed the exam the first time and found the training to be excellent. The only downside is that in the Exam Prep book the text and examples that describe a figure are on the next page. A lot of flipping back and forth to see the diagrams. The ICND book is easy to read with short chapters, and the Exam guide is a must to prepare for the exam.

Preparing for the CCNA exam 640-507 is very tough and you need all the help you can get, that's why when the CCNA Prep Library was released I had to make sure that I took a look at what Cisco was giving to everyone to study from.
The three-book set is one of the best prep libraries on the market today. The first book ICND is filled with coverage of topics like cabling, TCP/IP, IP Routing, 1900 switch, VLANS, access lists, IPX and other routing protocols. Excellent breakdown and details covering the topics. Book 2 - CCNA Certification Guide, cover the IOS, OSI Model in detail, bridging and switching, all routing protocols like RIP and OSPF, and a more detailed breakdown of access lists. Book 1 and 2 cover every exam objective is a format that takes some of the complexity of out the subject matter.
In book 3 - Internetworking Technologies Handbook 2nd edition, you are given more help in the CCNA by starting at the beginning and breaking down the networking basics. It will also help in the CCNP arena with its extensive coverage of routing protocols like BGP, EIRGP, SNA, IGRP, NLSP, OSPF and RIP.
Filled with router screen shots to give you that visual aide in studying along with cd-roms with practice questions and tests you have the definitive set of study material. Overall this is an excellent value and well worth the purchase.
10 Its beyond preparation
As with many other reviewers, I have found this book an excellent guide for the CCNA exam. However, the preparation bit in the title of the book is rather misleading. The content of the book goes beyond preparation. Very detail in various aspect of the CCNA objectives and requirements. I would say that should one need to prepare for the exam, this library set would be really too detailed - its more for those who wish to go more indepth into the subject. But on the whole, very enlightening and an excellent read. Kudos to Cisco Press.

Good, solid info for people who truly want to learn Cisco, not just looking for a title. If you are too cheap and lazy to spend some money and actually learn something, stick to accounting.
12 This is all you will need
This boxed set of references and study guides all complement each other. The Internetworking Technologies Handbook is an excellent reference guide, one that I personally would not want to read cover to cover, but would love to use it for a reference during studies or in real life situations. The ICND (Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices) book is great for a "1st step," as it goes over things in great detail, and provides a good foundation to build your knowledge from. Then the CCNA study guide... well, this book is actually written by a CCIE, which already says something about it. It is not an easy book to read, but if you take your time, study what you need to study, and do your homework, this book is a great one. You will know the information you need to know to pass the exam, and then some.
13 This system works!
The "Foundation Topics" as well as the "Scenario" sections in each chapter are powerful study tools. The Preparation Library is all you need to get your CCNA 2.0 and the three books are great reference material. My recommendation is based on the fact that I have little router experience, and the fact that I received the Preparation Library on Monday, studied like crazy all week, and was able to successfully pass 640-507 on Friday of the same week! Those who know me realize I am no brain.....so I have to attribute my success to diligence and the Preparation Library.
14 CCNA Prep. 640-507
This library was very helpful in studying for my CCNA. I found the book covered way more then the exam. It was still great. I haven't read all the books, just the main certification guide and passed. I took training courses as well though. I passed with a 946, with a need 822. Book was a great refresher.
15 Gets the job done
I just passed the 640-507 exam today (first attempt) with a score of 913 (822 needed). I have limited Cisco experience and used the ICND and the Study Guide as my only study materials. You must understand the topics to pass the test, memorizing is not enough.

I must thank the author first for the compilation of this excellent book with adequate and most required CD-ROM. This is a updated version for the course CCNA 2.0. It has given me a great confidence before I entered into the exam terminal. In a short period, with concentrated effort of mine and with a great help from the CD-ROM, I have successfully passed my Exam. This is most useful for the people new to CISCO Exams.

This is the newest stuff from cisco to prepare for the CCNA test. It covers the new exam, #640-507 not the old one. The books included are very well written and are great for studying or just for reference. The set is pricy but it's cheaper than if you were to buy each book seperatly. Plus you can always look back on them unlike a instructor-led course. Overall a great set of books.
