1 REA does it again.
This book was all I used to pass. I do agree that you have to read the answer explanations very carefully; this seems to be the key to all of the REA books. I ended up with a 74 (A) on the test and received six credits for this course. This was my forth CLEP test (see my other reviews) and I've primarily used REA study guides for all of them. I thought this test was harder than the others and barely finished within the allotted time but, if you study this book you will pass this CLEP.
2 Buy this book to pass!
Basically read this book, took the exams and aced the Clep. Excellent!
3 Everything you need to pass
Read the review and take all the exams. Excellent! I was totally prepared
4 Read the full answer keys
I found the sample test material itself to be helpful in recognizing what to expect on the CLEP test. I concur with other reviewers - you need to read the answer key explanations because they do contain errors. It will tell you that answer "A" is correct, then go on to explain why answer "B" is the best choice. I thought I was nuts until I started reading more in depth!

It is unfortunate that what is supposed to be an instructional book contains so many inaccuracies. Other than that, I found it go be a good preparation - and I did pass the test.

5 Problematic
The book contains numerous typos and editing mistakes. The explanations provided are often too brief to completely illuminate grammatical issues. The book uses incorrect sentences to demonstrate "how not to proceed" - a practice that has been outdated for decades. In general, this book struck me as churned out quickly and without much care and attention.
6 It helps
I found this book to be quite useful as long as it is used in conjunction with other sources for preparation. To insure you are fully coverd for the test you will need to go more in depth into the things discussed in this book.Overall this book is a big help.

Quote of the Day:

If something has not yet gone wrong then it would ultimately have been

beneficial for it to go wrong.

The most advantageous, pre-eminent thing thou canst do is not to exhibit
nor display thyself within the limits of our galaxy, but rather depart
instantaneously whence thou even now standest and flee to yet another rotten
planet in the universe, if thou canst have the good fortune to find one.
