1 WARNING: Do not buy
This card have drivers troubles in windows XP. Some fixed with SP2.

But His bigger trouble is that Creative Labs refuse to provide drivers or all class of support because is a OEM product.

Creative says that the customer must obtain support from the manufacturer.

The manufacturer is impossible to find.
2 amazing sound blaster.
This one is hot and works good with ur dvd player and audio equipment.
3 A product being phased out, but still has game
While this product is being faded out with the new Audigy line, there is still a quality sound card here. If you don't have the speakers to support the 5.1 or 6.1 you are better off with this card.
4 One of the best soundcards available.
I have had a version of this sound card for over 2 years.
I have no compatability problems with Windows 2K or Linux, every game I play sounds great.
The software that you can get from creative's website allows you to do all sorts of fun things in realtime. I've not used the digital out (Sorry, don't have DD receiver just for my computer) but the 4 speaker out works great.
I put these cards in every one of my machines I've built.
If you are a computer builder, this card requires no additional drivers out the box for W2K which always makes windows more stable :)
5 Excellent card for the money.
Anyway its about as good as can be expected for the price.
Good for gaming and movies / 5.1 channel
Sound blaster Audigy is a better card, but will cost more.
6 Great Product!
Creative comes through again with this beautifuly sounding card! Get it, you won't regret it.
7 Good over all card for the masses
Soundblaster has been the industry standard for soundcards for a long time. The Soundblaster Live offers a lot of good features such as ports for back and front speakers as well as a game port for a joystick (though most use USB these days). The 20PK is of value to resellers or those often putting together systems for friends. Unless you get very high quality speakers, one really should not hear a difference between the Soundblaster Live or Audigy series.
