1 Loved it...but returned it.
First let me say that this is an awesome product! I loved the size, the ease of setting it up, and especially the sound quality. I was sending the signal from my living room computer to my home stereo system in my family room. Signal distance: about 30 feet. Direct line of sight? no. The signal traveled through the door of my armoire, across the room and through (or around) a partial wall. It sounded perfect but with an occasional momentary drop-out in sound output when someone walked in the path of the signal. I raised the device to the top shelves in my entertainment center and my armoire and never experienced another glitch.

Cons: Only outputs a mono signal (but that is fairly unimportant to me). The real deal-breaker was that when I plugged the device into the USB port, it switched my computer's output device from standard speakers to USB. Therefore I could NOT listen to the audio on both the home stereo and computer at the same time. I wanted to have that option so I bought the DSM-910BT and just split the audio output.

D-link doesn't sell the receiver portion of this setup separately...or offer a kit with more than one receiver; otherwise I certainly would have kept it.

2 Very nice product!
I'm thrilled with this device. It's met all my expectations. I use MusicMatch streaming online audio.... at first I was dissapointed with the music quality because I heard pops here and there, along with distortion in the 10-20k Hz sound range.... but then I realized it was just the quality of the MusicMatch service at peak hours, I guess their quality is degraded.

When I've listened to other audio songs saved on my computer, the quality has been exceptional.

And since this uses bluetooth to digitally transmit the audio signal, it does not interfere with my wireless 2.4 Ghz network or my 5.8 Ghz cordless phone. It does exactly what it's supposed to do ---- transmit audio wirelessly and with very clean sound.

When installing it, all you do is plug the reciever in your stereo system and the transmitter in your USB device and it's installed right away, no drivers to install, nothing, I was very surprised. The only problem I've encountered with it, is occasionally the signal gets disconnected, I don't know if it's because of my computer locking up, or something else? I've never had a disruption in service... I'll just leave my computer on and when I go to play something, I notice it's not connected to the other unit. But just unplug and replug it and it connects again so it's not a big problem.

Quote of the Day:

We is confronted with insurmountable opportunities.

-- Walt Kelly, "Pogo"

Actually, the probability is 100% that the elevator will be going in the
right direction. Proof by induction:

N=1. Trivially true, since both you and the elevator only have one
floor to go to.

Assume true for N, prove for N+1:
If you are on any of the first N floors, then it is true by the
induction hypothesis. If you are on the N+1st floor, then both you
and the elevator have only one choice, namely down. Therefore,
it is true for all N+1 floors.
QED.
