The DPC-CFP allows the xD Picture Card Adapter to be used as a Compact Flash (CF-Type II).
1 This is not what you get
This page is not correct. The company I ordered this item from sent,instead,an xd pcmcia II card adapter rather than the Fuji CompactFlash xD Card Adapter for xD-Picture Card.
This was a great disappointment as it arrived the day before my vacation and I was unable to find a replacement for what I needed.
2 Very good results.
This adapter worked immediately when I inserted my xD-Picture card into it, then inserted the adapter into the CompactFlash slot on my computer. Windows XP worked fine and I was able to move all the photos from the 128k xD=Picture Card directly to the "My Documents--My Pictures" file. From there, editing and forwarding was a snap. Very happy that I can now transfer my photos directly from my xD card to my comuter's hard drive.
3 This card adapter doesn't work with my HP printer
I purchased my Fuji CompactFlash xD Card Adapter elsewhere and it doesn't work in my HP officejet 7130 all-in-one. It won't load in as it's supposed to but will fit correctly backwards. Except then I get an amber light that says there is a card error. This is supposed to work with my all-in-one but it doesn't. For that reason, I'd give it a zero star rating if such a rating existed. I'm going to take this CP version back and hope the more updated CPF version works. I'm a travel writer planning to take my own photos to go with my articles, but I'm getting nowhere fast with this card adapter that refuses to work properly. This one is definitely a thumbs down. However, this is my first dud Fuji product I've bought and I love Fuji digital cameras.
4 Good but has limitations
This xD card adapter works great but it can only handle an xD card up to 128 MB. If you put a larger card into the adapter, it cannot find the pictures.
