The HP 20 black inkjet print cartridge features proprietary HP pigmented ink. The HP 20 black inkjet print cartridge works with the HP 49 tricolor inkjet print cartridge and the HP 16 photo inkjet print cartridge to deliver crisp black text, vibrant, photo-quality color, and outstanding print quality. Proprietary HP pigmented ink offers high-quality output even on everyday paper. The cartridge is compatible with the HP Deskjet 610c, 610cl, and 612c; the HP Deskjet 630c and 632c; the HP Deskjet 640c, 642c, and 648c; the HP Deskjet 656c and 656cvr; and the HP Fax 1020. The cartridge yields approximately 500 pages (letter-size, based on 5 percent coverage).
1 Excellent but pricey!
This is a very good cartdrige for a very good printer. The one problem is the cost of the consumables. The ink cartridges are expensive compared witht the price of the printer. I bought the 610C years ago and it still works very well. If the price of the cartridge was lower I would give 5 stars.
2 HP No. 20 Blk. Inkjet Cartridge: TOO EXPENSIVE!
The HP No. 20 Black Inkjet Cartridge performs very well. My only complaint is that it is simply TOO expensive, especially when compared to other inkjet cartridges. I print a lot and have to replace my cartridges often, so I feel the brunt of the expense every time I need to purchase a new one. I would love and appreciate seeing the price drop drastically in the near future. If there is a reason why this particular inkjet cartridge is so expensive that I could understand, it would help to ease the pressure I feel because it's the only inkjet I'm able to use with the printer of my choice which prints on both sides...A feature I need to save on paper usage and space. Of course, this is just my opinion. What I print out pertains to my favorite hobby and I'm not printing out anything to sell for a profit. Probably, that's why I resent the cost so.
3 InkJet Cartridge
Great product at a great price. Super fast shipment - This is a great service.
4 ***HP Quailty For your Printer*** Great Choice
I own a cheap deskjet printer model 656c. I used my first black ink cartridge up in about 5 months. Lucky for me the print quailty is better than other low priced printers I've had in the past.
Not only that, but it probably printed off about 270-280 pages of text for only [$]. Most other ink cartriges are cheaper, but you have to consider that the quality is poor and not as many pages are produced with just one cartridge.
You don't even have to pay [$]! Just buy it used for [$-$] and save yourself a couple of bucks. Either way you win with HP's quality black cartridge.
5 Expensive and hard to find
The suspicious side of me wants to believe that HP did a promo with their Deskjet 612C - i.e. they sold the printer cheap or with big rebates as part of a system deal and decided to make up for their loss leader by limiting production and raising the price on the cartridge replacements. I would be surprised if there is any difference between the 612C black replacement cartridge C6614 and the much more common cartridge for the 660C other than a little plastic tab on the cartridge case.
6 HARD TO FIND -- C6614AN (HP No. 20)
This new-ish ink concept from HP makes GREAT copies and is EASY to install. I should have looked at Amazon.com first ... would have saved trips to five different office supply places, needless wear and tear on my body and my brain, and I would be printing right now instead of leaving feedback. I am thankful for amazon.com EVERY single day of the year!!! (HP products are SWELL, too.)
7 Hewlett Packard C6614AN Black InkJet Cartridge (No. 20)
This black cartridge gives crisp clear text and images. It is excellent for the home or small office environment. Additionally it can stand up to moderate usage and gives about 350 pages before cartridge has to be replaced. I have found it economical to use.
