HP No. 56 Black Ink Cartridge (C6656AN)

Compras Nikon
Bluetooth
provides laser-quality text printing * page yield per cartridge: 450 (based on letter-size prints at 5% density) * ink volume: 19 ml * warranty covers cartridge until date printed on cartridge is passed, or until ink runs out (whichever comes first)
1 Good Product
While the general axiom is that HP sells discounted printers and jacks up the price on the resulting cartridges.

This is not the case here, it seems; The cartridges are very cheap and 1 lasts a long time.

This is an important quality for a chem major who prints LOTS of lab reports but doesn't want to have to go to the store for ink constantly.

2 Reliable
This makes a nice, clean print and is reasonably priced. I've been able to print around 120 or so pages from each cartridge, so I'm happy.

Product delivered promptly and as advertised.
4 Great ink!
I bought a cute little mobile Hp Deskjet 450cbi for college, which has proved to be tiny but reliable, and it's definitely worth the money. While three months of use of our Epson printer at home drains the cartridge, three months of printing out two to three several-page papers every week using my HP 450cbi leaves the cartridge drained only to 40%. Great moneysaver for a poor college student like me!
5 economical but short service life
I was only able to get three months out of my HP 56 cartridge. (my old printer was able to go six months but had larger cartridges).
6 COULD BE A LITTLE BIGGER
This cartridge could be a little bigger and last a little longer, but no one can complain about that unbeatable HP quality.
7 Beautiful Photos
I had an old Canon and it never produced anything good....but my new HP5550 is absolutely FANTASTIC! My photos look professional now. Lots of people use their ink very fast, but I guess I don't print as much as others? I just have trouble buying new cartridges....hard to find. All in all, I am extremely pleased with everything about my printer....love the 4x6 borderless photos!
8 Could be better, but could be worse!
I just recently purchases an HP5550 and the printer, despite some negative reviews on speed... is excellent. The Ink is another story altogether. The cartridges are very small and after 1 week of regular use (home business printing, 4 or 5 pictures on sample paper) the ink is almost 1/2 finished!!! This could be a problem in the end as the ink is more expensive than other printer manufacturers. I guess watching ink consumption is something HP did not warn us about!

Quote of the Day:

Death is God's way of telling you not to be such a wise guy.

In the course of reading Hadamard's "The Psychology of Invention in the
Mathematical Field", I have come across evidence supporting a fact
which we coffee achievers have long appreciated: no really creative,
intelligent thought is possible without a good cup of coffee. On page
14, Hadamard is discussing Poincare's theory of fuchsian groups and
fuchsian functions, which he describes as "... one of his greatest
discoveries, the first which consecrated his glory ..." Hadamard refers
to Poincare having had a "... sleepless night which initiated all that
memorable work ..." and gives the following, very revealing quote:

"One evening, contrary to my custom, I drank black coffee and
could not sleep. Ideas rose in crowds; I felt them collide
until pairs interlocked, so to speak, making a stable
combination."

Too bad drinking black coffee was contrary to his custom. Maybe he
could really have amounted to something as a coffee achiever.
