1 Great Monitor!
After our 2 Viewsonics died on us (would shut off suddenly and not turn on again), we purchased 2 of these. We've used them now every day for over a year and they're performing as well as on day one. I will buy a 15" version for my mom.

The speakers are very convenient, however if you primarily use your computer to listen to music or watch movies, then I'd recommend replacing them with something a little more high end.
2 it can be a good deal
if you get a good price it works well enough; its a good size the harman/kardon speakers are a nice tuch (thay need a sub though) i dbout the responce time is less then 20 ms though that is not a problem for me some people may rather die then experince that.
3 Good monitor
Had it for 2 years and I've noticed no problems with it. I also like how the speakers included with it can be powered from the monitor itself. It saves me an outlet.
4 I'm down $500
Everything started out fine, except, I couldn't quite turn it off. I'd have to unplug it in order for the screen to go dark. So I just left it to the screensaver and paid it no worry.

Needless to say, it's burnt out--under a year.

HP's customer service took my information (name/email/phone number) and said they'd do some research. This was the most disgusting part of the whole ordeal. I did not hear back from them. I emailed them a second time, and they gave me some tips. One of them worked, and my monitor was on. Problem was, it only worked because the monitor had been inoperative and disconnected for a month and had cooled down a bit.

Long story short, I'm over the warranty and they want me to pay in order to fix a problem that came with the monitor. Between this and the other HP products that have broken down on me, I'm never going to buy anything by Hewlett Packard again. Now that I'm five-hundred dollars down with a monitor that'll work for a little while every leap year.
5 Satisfied!
I've had this for 8 months and I haven't had any problems. The print is fine. There should be a way to enlarge the print on screens using your computer if you find it too small but it looks like standard print to me.
6 Excellent for those with good vision
I've had this monitor for about two months, and I'm very happy with it. I do agree with a warning given to me by a friend, that this type of monitor (flat-panel LCD) leaves the print on the screen looking quite small. I've got good eyesight, and it doesn't bother me, but for those who have any problems reading smaller print, they'd best check it out in a store, carefully, before buying it. The images and print can be adjusted to be bigger, but at the cost of decreased resolution/clarity.
7 EXCELLENT MONITOR
I agree with previous review. The unit also can be easily adjusted in height, allowing leveling the monitor from touching the desk surface to raising it about 6 inches effortlessly. The visual quality is superb.
8 Nothing Bad to Say
I could not see any difference between this and most monitors. The feature that makes this monitor worth the extra $50-$75 than a generic monitor is the ease and range of the tilting screen. You can adjust the monitor to be perfect if you are standing up, sitting on the ground, or any other position you can think up (keep it clean). This feature comes in handy more than you can expect, and it looks really nice.
