The Q2613x toner cartridge fits HP LaserJet 1300 series laser printers. Although an actual yield number is unavailable from the manufacturer, this model's "maximum capacity" label means that it is ideal for high-volume office applications. Plus, using a genuine HP cartridge ensures consistently high-quality black print results.
For use in Hewlett Packard Laser Printer Models: LaserJet 1300, 1300N, 1300XI.
1 Superior value
Although HP LaserJet 13X (Q2613X) costs about 20% more than LaserJet 13A (Q2613A), it is a superior buy for a number of reasons. Topping the list is lower cost per page. 13X can print 4000 pages at 5% page coverage (ISO/IEC 19752 standard) whereas 13A can print 2500 pages. That's 37.5% difference in page yield. Divide up the toner price against 4000 (e.g., 91.99 / 4000 = 2.3 cents) to get cost per page.

Secondly, laser toners last a long time whether you print few times a month or dozens of pages a day (they don't dry out). And finally, higher page yield means fewer toner replacement.

My only complaint with 13X (and that goes to 13A as well) is that page yield cost with some competing printers and higher-end HP LaserJets is even less.

Quote of the Day:

Coincidences are spiritual puns.

-- G.K. Chesterton

Two men are in a hot-air balloon. Soon, they find themselves lost in a
canyon somewhere. One of the three men says, "I've got an idea. We can
call for help in this canyon and the echo will carry our voices to the
end of the canyon. Someone's bound to hear us by then!"
So he leans over the basket and screams out, "Helllloooooo! Where
are we?" (They hear the echo several times).
Fifteen minutes later, they hear this echoing voice: "Helllloooooo!
You're lost!"
The shouter comments, "That must have been a mathematician."
Puzzled, his friend asks, "Why do you say that?"
"For three reasons. First, he took a long time to answer, second,
he was absolutely correct, and, third, his answer was absolutely useless."
