1 Excellent Resource for Insurance Pros
This is a great reference for anyone in the insurance world who deals with insurance policies. It is not an exhaustive (or exhausting!) 10 volume set like Couch, but an easy to use reference. It helps explain why the courts come to the decisions they do, and how to make sure a policy is clear to everyone involved in the transaction before a dispute arises. I recommend it for claims people involved in intepreting coverage, underwriters (especially if they draft manuscript endorsements), coverage lawyers on both sides, and agents or brokers.

Quote of the Day:

This isn't true in practice -- what we've missed out is Stradivarius's

constant. And then the aside: "For those of you who don't know, that's
been called by others the fiddle factor..."

The optimist thinks that this is the best of all possible worlds,
and the pessimist knows it.
