1 Disappointed... because I wanted to read more.
I was very curious about "Innocent Insights" and the author Susie Harrison. A good summary of what to expect from reading the book is stated by Harrison in the preface: "Not all the stories are belly achingly funny. Some have simple humor, some are hilarious, and some are just plain touching." I was disappointed when I finished reading because I wanted to read more.

The last I heard, she was working on a children's fiction book, I look forward to reading.

Quote of the Day:

It's a small world, but I wouldn't want to have to paint it.

-- Steven Wright

Every man who has reached even his intellectual teens begins to suspect
that life is no farce; that it is not genteel comedy even; that it flowers
and fructifies on the contrary out of the profoundest tragic depths of the
essential death in which its subject's roots are plunged. The natural
inheritance of everyone who is capable of spiritual life is an unsubdued
forest where the wolf howls and the obscene bird of night chatters.
-- Henry James Sr., writing to his sons Henry and William
