To the best of my knowledge the Album "Me Enamore" for which Jose Feliciano received a Best Latin Pop Performance Grammy(1983) contained the songs Ay Carino, Paso La Vida Pensando, and many of the songs featured on Ayer, Hoy y Siempre. This album was originally recorded in 1982 on Motown Records. Produced by Leonardo Schultz and Jose Feliciano, Executive Producer Gary H. Mason. This album was only released on Vinyl and Cassette. It was never released as a CD. The only Latin Feliciano album from Motown that was released as a CD was the Escenas de Amor album featuring the Santana duet Samba Pa Ti (this album received a Grammy nomination in 1982 for Best Latin Recording). Thus the claims that 9 of the tracks on this package have never been released in CD form is accurate.
That aside, an 18 song CD, plus a 1 hour live concert video with Feliciano's biggest hits can only be described as fantastic value for the Jose Feliciano fan.

Very good compilation!
A lot of the songs come from the CDs ESCENAS DE AMOR (1982) and 15 EXITOS DE UNA GRAN DECADA (1990), which includes AY CARI„O and PASO LA VIDA PENSANDO. So, yes, those 2 songs were, indeed, previously available on CD by Globo Records, contrary to a previous posting.
3 Feliciano is brilliant as usual a must JF fans
This is a fantastic package a beautiful CD with songs from two of Jose's great spanish albums from the 80's, followed by an excellent live performance from Chile in 1984. Feliciano is always a joy to watch and listen to, he is in my opinion one of the most verstile and gifted entertainers the world has ever known.
Jose has always been a highly underrated artist (I don't know why this is) however he is a fantastic singer with an incredible smooth and silky voice who has been capturing the hearts of music lovers since the 1960's. Add to the fact that he is without a doubt one of the greatest guitar players that's ever live. Jose Feliciano is the real thing what you see is what you get and this CD/DVD package is of excellent quality in both picture and sound. Feliciano is an artist in a class all by himself he is a rare breed that only comes along once in a lifetime. Just like Elvis and The Beatles, there is only one Jose Feliciano and there will never be another one like him.
You will not be dissapointed when you see this excellent CD/DVD. This is the best Feliciano package to come along in many years. As opposed to other artists and groups who need to rely on special gimmicks and massive publicity to let themselves be known, (lucky for us) we have a brilliant musician like Jose Feliciano who can light up any stage in the world with just his voice and guitar. AMAZING!!!

Everytime I play the DVD, I enjoy it. It never gets old. The sound of the CD is fantastic. What more can you ask from a DVD/CD package. If you like Feliciano, you will love this package. It is the consumate Feliciano at his best.

If you read this review, then buy this Feliciano DVD/CD. ..... Great DVD, and fantastic CD. You get both for a great price. Forget the rest, this is truly the best. He performs Light My Fire live, as well as Start Me Up, Twist and Shout, Que Sera, and many others. On the DVD there is a great duet with Santana of Samba Pa Ti (worth buying just for that). There are 9 songs on the CD that you will not find anywhere else, on any CD. They are all Grammy winning songs. Whether you speak Spanish or English there is something for everyone in this package. They also include a great Celia Cruz bonus video.

What do you get when you combine a 1 hour live DVD with songs including Light My Fire, Start Me Up, Twist and Shot, Que Sera, Volvere Alguna Vez, Ay Carino, and many more plus 18 hit songs including at least 9 I have never ever heard on CD. YOU GET THE BEST JOSE FELICIANO PACKAGE EVER! There are alot of choices out there, but this Feliciano DVD plus CD has everything except the kitchen sink. All for a very fair price. If you have ever bought a Feliciano album, this is a must.

My package contianed Dvd + CD and must say is sure a great Package for Jose Feliciano, not easy found an item like this for hm from many years and hard to understand why so many label, record companies don't give to a genius like Jose a decent budget to make him a real world star how was in 60s, simply this is an artist unique in this world and this package shows this.
The DVD is great, is a traslation part of a great concert of Jose in Chile in 1985 where he sing and play guitar at his best in some spanish hits at that time, lucky are also included three great perfoamaces in english, the world hit Light My Fire plus the never recorded "Start Me Up" and" Twist and Sout": and my opinion these english songs are the best of the DVD and again I hope record comany decided soon to recorcrd again Jose in english and give him a right Dvd tribute ofr this forget side of him: in fact this great "Ayer Hoy Y Siempre" can be considerated a great tribute for his latin side, images from 1985 are good but not at the digital level of recents concerts of other artists
The Cd is the re-print of two great Motown spanish album of 1982 and 1983, "Escanas de Amor" (a great hit in latin America and Spain at that time which also include a great guitar duet with Carlos Santana and other varoius spanish songs from the "Concierto de Aranjuez" to "Evil Ways" (malas Costumbres)) and the other Lp was Me Enamore, a great hit album, Grammy Winner in 1983 which contains perhaps the bests spanish songs recorded by Jose, from Ay Carino to The Sound of Silence and a incredible guitar tracks in the Paul Simon's "El Cindor Pasa".
Anyway at last, I can be say fans and music/guitar lovers must have this collection, absolutely

I found this package by accident, and I am very glad I did. Great songs, plus well done DVD. Over 2 hours of great entertainment. Includes his Grammy winning songs from the Me Enamore Album (First Time Ever on CD), plus a duet with Carlos Santana (Samba Pa Ti), and live concert versions of Light My Fire, Start Me Up, and many more. This is the first time a Record Company has tried to give the consumer true value, so let's try to support them, so they will keep their prices lower, and deliver more packages like this.

Forget the rest, this is the best! A full concert DVD, plus 18 Grammy hits, plus Celia Cruz, and a Santana duet with the Maestro himself. It just does not get any better than this. This package has something for everyone.

If you are looking for the perfect holiday gift for a Jose Feliciano fan, this is it. This package has everything including a great Concert DVD, plus a CD with 18 hits. I was looking for many of these songs for years, and could never find the originals from his Grammy winning album on CD. They are in this package! Ay Carino, Samba Pa Ti (a great duet with Carlos Santana), and many many more. The DVD has Light My Fire, Start Me Up, Twist and Shot, and Que Sera, and many more Feliciano favorites. They even have bloopers, and a great Celia Cruz bonus video. This package is worth twice the price.

15 Paso La Vida Pensando y Ay Carino
Two of Sr. Feliciano's biggest hits ever (Spanish or English) were Ay Carino, and Paso La Vida Pensando. However until this CD/DVD was released the original Grammy winning recordings for some reason were never made available to the public on CD. Well they are on this CD along with hits Samba Pa Ti (The original duet with Carlos Santana, and an Orchestra "Grande." Plus Volvere Alguna Vez, Light My Fire, Start Me Up, and many more. The CD by itself is worth the price of admission, but they also threw in a live concert DVD with some original concert footage, a Celia Cruz bonus video, and some other fun bells and whistles. If you are buying a Feliciano album, this is the one. Forget the old Standard "Feliz Navidad" which is great, and step up to what will soon be the new standard for Feliciano Officianado's.

I never cease to be amazed when a Record Company actually releases something worth buying, but does not bother to advertise it! I found this CD/DVD by accident looking through a long list of Feliciano stuff. It is a diamond in the rough. I Like the CD with the Santana Duet, but the DVD was what was really sweeeet! Maybe if word gets out, and a few people start to buy it, someone will spend a few bucks making it easier to find. At least Amazon.com has it, so thanks for that.

If you have ever gone through the list of 100 or so Feliciano albums, it is almost the same songs over and over again. Finally, someone used alittle creativity and put something different together. I love Jose Feliciano, and I truly thought I got my monies worth with this product. You get a Live Concert DVD (much younger Feliciano, but very well authored), and you get a bunch of Latin hits including a duet with Santana. Great price for a value added product.
18 Santana and Feliciano Together, Yes!
I am ashamed to say I bought the entire package for the Santana/Feliciano Samba Pa Ti Duet. It is great- Santana is Slammin! However, I did not realize what a good deal I got until I watched the DVD (great concert), and listened to the CD. Great music, but since I do not speak much Spanish, I could not really enjoy the lyrics. Product is worth buying just for the Santana duet, and the DVD. I would imagine if you are Spanish, you will love the CD also.
19 Light My Fire!
Finally something worth buying for the holidays and beyond. If you like DVD's this has got some great live concert footage including Light My Fire, Start Me Up and a bunch more. If you like CD's it has 18 Latin Hits, of which at least 10 are originals which I was never able to get on any other CD (and Feliciano has alot of CD's out there!). The people that authored the DVD did a great job. It looks like Universal Music is really trying to give the consumer value.

If you like Jose Feliciano, this is the package for you! It contains 1 DVD with a live concert including the songs Light My Fire, Start Me Up, Twist and Shout, Ay Carino, Paso La Vida Pensando, and many more. It also contains a CD with 18 hits songs, of which 10 have never been released on a CD. All of these songs received Grammy nominations or a Grammy. They were recorded with a big orchestra, and the sound is fantastic. If this is not enough it includes a Feliciano/Santana Duet of Samba Pa Ti, plus bloopers, slide show, previews, and a Celia Cruz Bonus Video. For $...you cannot go wrong. It is a great Holiday Gift whether you speak Spanish or English. Viva Universal!
