Kodak's inkjet picture paper provides a great balance between quality and versatility, perfect for your everyday photo printing needs. Kodak papers are compatible with virtually any inkjet printer, and can be relied on to produce quality print results.
1 Optimized for HP printers
Kodak paper is primarily for HP printers. I have used this paper on a variety of printers including HP, Lexmark, Canon and Epson and the quality is substandard on all printers except the HP. Also tried on various models of each printer manufacturer with the same result.
Some printer companies design their printers, ink and paper to work together. When this continuity is compromised, the output quality is often substandard.
In short, HP=ok. Other=**danger**
2 Very bad results with Epson 820
Don't expect to get good picture quality with this paper if you have an Epson Photo 820 printer. I tried differents settings, including those suggested by Kodak, and always got very bad results.
3 The paper [bad]
Using CANON S750, the outcome is terrible. It is dark and blur. Canon's Photo Paper Pro, or Kadak's Premium Photo Paper did produce high-quality pictures, almost no different from the photo developed in a lab.
4 Best Combo of Price and Quality
Kodak Picture Paper has a nice soft gloss on both sides and I have had very good results with it. After shopping around, I found it to have the best combination of price and quality. It's quite heavy and very bright and is perfect for printing photos from digital cameras. It makes photos from even medicore printers look two times better than when printed on premium matte inkjet paper.
