1 I just cannot find this cameera anywhere
Why can I notfind this camera anywhere
2 Best Camera I Have Owned!
I purchased this particular camera July 2003. Thus far I have taken 7 rolls of film with this camera. First off I found loading the film to be the easiest I have encountered. You just drop the film in, shut the door and the film sets itself. All of the features in this camera allows the photographer to take GREAT pictures. Every picture I took, using this camera, looked as though a professional had taken them. To get familiar with all of the features I purposely took pictures that utilized each feature. Again every picture came out GREAT! Close ups of people did not have the red-eye due to the Flip Flash feature. Photos I took of objects far away seemed a lot closer due to the Infinity feature. Photos I took at night looked as though they were taken in the day light due to the Night View feature. The 3 picture sizes also produced fabulous pictures. The Preview screen, on the back of the camera, came in handy for viewing the picture right away to make sure I got the shot I was after. I also like that I can set the date, time and event to print on the photo. I love this camera so much that I am trying to find one for several members of my family.
3 What I've Been Looking For!
I absolutely love this camera! I was considering a digital camera but wasn't impressed with the clarity of the pictures, and yet I really wanted to send pictures to family via e-mail. This camera gives me the best of both worlds and for a lot less money!
My husband and I have three children and I also am a licensed day care provider and I take a LOT of pictures on a weekly basis. Two of my day care parents are already considering buying this camera after seeing the pictures it takes, and how easy it is to handle.
Being able to see the picture after you take it is wonderful! If someone steps in front of you, you can tell right away and don't have to waste money getting a picture developed you know you don't want. On the other hand, the pictures that you see that you know Grandma and Grandpa are going to want a copy of, you order a few extras of just that picture!
I also do a lot of scrapbooking, and this camera is a life saver! When I have all three boys in a picture, I can get three of just that one for each of their scrap books.
I have gone through four rolls of film with this camera, and I haven't had one picture that had even a hint of red eye in it. I just can't say enough about this camera! I absolutely love it! I was crushed when my other camera "died" on me and I had to get a different one. I've gotten over it!
4 this camera has its flaws but is decent overall
I bought this product about a year ago for around [$$$]. I am both happy and disappointed with this camera. I like the fact that you are able to view the picture that you just took but disappointed that I can't view the pictures BEFORE that shot (which I shouldn't really be complaining because this camera, after all, isn't digital). The additional feature in which you get to indicate how many duplicates (2, 3, 4, etc.) you want of a picture immediately after any given shot is pretty much irrelevant because it's a hassle to even think about that when you're taking a bunch of shots continuously. I end up just choosing how many copies I want when I bring the film to the developer.

The main complaint I have for this camera is the fact that the flash range for this camera is really weak. The subject of the shot should be relatively close to the camera if you don't want the shot to be blurry or dark.

I would recommend this camera if the price was around [$$$] or less. I was in luck when I bought this camera because I got a [$$$] rebate. Overall, I really am fond of my Kodak Advantix Preview because I don't really need to take any perfect shots in the dark. My pictures I have taken during the day have turned out clear and crisp. But I wouldn't recommend using this camera for pictures at night.

5 Great pictures and good features
I am on my 6th roll of film with this camera and so far every picture has been very good or excellent. None have been out of focus and they have been taken in different lighting conditions with b&w 400 film, and color 200 and 400 speed film.

The preview feature is nice, but the image that is displayed is not that clear, (when comparing it to what a digital camera display looks like), but it serves its purpose.
The feature I readily use in conjunction with the preview is the ability to select the number of prints you want from each exposure. This works very well and is very easy.

I would have given 5 stars had the preview area been sharper. But I still recommend this camera as the features and picture quality met my expectations. I should add this is my second APS camera and this camera seems to take superior pictures to my other camera.

6 Too Bulky
I bought this camera because of its unique Preview feature that is usually only available on digital cameras. The feature was indeed very useful, although the screen is not of the best quality and you can't see many details. But you get the idea of what your picture will look like. The rest of the features are standard on all APS cameras.

I didn't think that the quality of the pictures was very good. Some of them had a greenish tint to them, but they were in pretty good focus. One of the biggest reasons that I didn't keep this camera is that it's too bulky for this day and age. It's about double the size of the Canon Z3 APS camera, which has all of the features besides the preview.

So, buy this camera only if the size is not important to you, but the Preview is and you don't want to get a digital.

7 It's the best camera your money without getting a digital
I think it's great. It's not as good as a digital camera because it's not digital. I love it if your not wanting to spend a lot of money on a digital camera this is the best camera because you don't end up with pictures that don't turn out and as far as the lcd screen it's great. Of course the screen is not going to show you the exact quality of the picture it's not the picture but the pictures turn out great. It's the perfect camera if you have kids because they never sit still long enough to take a good picture so this way you know if you need to take another pictures. and the film it not expense. I love it and recommend it to anyone.
8 Great pictures
I bought this camera a month ago and developed five rolls of film from it! All my pictures came out great and clear too! The preview screen is so nice when taking pictures of kids who hate to pose! Now i can tell what my pictures are going to look like before develope time. It is so easy to use and fun to use! I am not ready for the digital world of cameras. I love my kodak preview camera!!!! Not bad for the price! Great pictures in every roll!
9 Great concept, decent photos, but a few problems.
I bought this camera specifically for a recent vacation overseas. Overall, it's a decent Kodak product - the pictures came out well enough, it was very easy to load and the three-size option was great.

BUT, I was disappointed when, on several occasions, the zoom lens got stuck and I had a hard time getting it to retract. Also, it's often hard to examine the image on screen when out in broad daylight (and indoors, it often looks very dark, even though the photos subsequently came out just fine).

What it comes down to is, it's got some cool features, but had I known the problems I'd encounter, I would never have spent this much money.

10 A great camera
I spent lots of time looking for and comparing different cameras. When I found the advantix preview, I was like "damn, this is hot." Im 15, and enjoy taking pictures very much. I brought my camera all over the country with me this summer, and it took some great pictures for me. If you like to choose your options for your pictures, even after you take them, you need one of these. There are only two bad things about the camera, and they are that the batteries run out fast, and you only can view and edit the last picture you took. But overall, its definately worth it.
11 Take a minute
I have to admit I hated this camera. I could be a little prejudice because I traded a Nikon Nuvis in to get this camera, so bear with me. The Nuvis just quit on me in 1week. This camera for me was too big. I like a camera you can slip in your pocket this could not happen with this camera. Also the resolution on the LCD screen was very poor. One of the selling points for this camera is you are suppose to be able to look at the LCD screen and choose which pictures you would like to keep or discard. this is really a tricky fete when the LCD screen is so grainy that you can tell if you want the picture or not so I ended up keeping the picture anyway. The zoom is non existent. Some people praise it for the features that ALL APS camera have and don't tell you how they feel about the one feature that is exclusive to this APS which is the LCD screen. If you can I would recommand you view the LCD screen for clarity before you buy it. No I was not expecting digital quality but I was expecting to at least know if I want to keep the picture. I can tell you it was not worth the money. I wanted this camera for that one specific feature and I read the reviews and other people seem to like this camera and in truth I am glad I did buy this camera could I would have always wondered should I have brought it and now I know the answer. NO
12 Great Camera
I love the Preview feature. The film Mid-roll change feature is very sweet its so nice having one camera and being able to change film speeds in the middle of a roll. Great camera!
13 Love it
Great pictures and features. with the preview and being able to pic how many copies u want before processing is great. Gone through 10 or so rolls of film thus far and no complaints.
14 Lovely Camera With Great Features!
I recently brought a new Labrador puppy into the fold, so we wanted to have a good and reliable camera on hand to document her growth into maturity, which happens so fast with Labs that you want to make sure you keep at it. This camera system serves us well, with its many conveniences and features. You can get a good look at the snapshots you've taken before you develop them, and have the opportunity to re-take the shots if you aren't pleased. It has the convenience of being both a digital camera as well as a traditional film camera, which suits us to a "T". It has, of course, that all important zoom feature, which we learned how to use quite quickly and easily. This is an affordable yet high-tech approach in a device that is simple to use and wonderful in its results. I highly recommend it! Enjoy!
15 The best camera
I got this camera last year for my birthday and it is one of he best gifts I have ever gotten. The camera is so great and everyone I know loves it. I recommend it to anyone...
16 Advantix Preview Camera
I was planning my wedding and realized I couldn't afford a professional photographer. I took a chance and bought the Advantix Preview Camera and what a great idea it was! I got to preview all the pictures that were taken and delete the ones I didn't like. I ended up with 7 rolls of perfect pictures and my wedding pictures are BETTER that what I would have had to pay a photographer for. The Advantix Preview Camera was the best wedding gift I received!
17 Great Features-Poor zoom
I purchased this camera and then exchanged it after using it. It has great features, such as: great flash which is far from lens to reduce redeye (even b/f a user uses the redeye reduc); date prints on back of print (Ilove having the date, but must cameras print in the front which I don't like. I think this is the only camera with the wonderful feature). The cons: the preview screen was too small to see details; and lastly the reason I exchanged it: it only has a 65 mm zoom. For the $ this is one of the weakest zooms. I find I use my zoom alot, so I exchanged it. I do miss the other nice features though. However, what good are they if all your pics have to be realtively close?
18 Happy with my purchase!
I purchased this camera b/c I was tired of taking pictures and not having what I thought was a good shot. This camera did what I had hoped! I am extremely glad I made this purchase. It saves me money and frustration. It allows me to preview the shot, hence the name, before I accept it or not have it developed (less processing fee). I used to waste so much film on shots.

The only gripes I have about this camera are 1.) it is a shot in the dark whether you get a good distance shot and 2.) it does not take quality pictures with low light. But, for me at least, I have always had those problems with any camera I have had.

This camera really is what I needed. I do not want a digital camera b/c I just don't. No rhyme or reason, I just like film cameras.

I recently took this camera with me to Hawaii, and I got back some of the most unbelievable pictures I have ever taken. The variety of pictures ranges from sunsets to close-ups to action to portaits. I could not have been happier with the results.

I would highly recommend this camera to anyone who thinks that have taken a picture of one thing and always gets back something completely different. It has been a truly tremendous purchase for me.

19 Great Camera!
Before purchasing this camera I was always disappointed when my photos came back from processing. If lucky, I would get one or two good shots from a roll or two of film with my Nikon cameras, which I also think are great--I just could not take good pictures. Now, 98% of my photos are great! Even when the picture doesn't seem really good when I preview the shot, once the film is developed, the photos are much better than I anticipated. I don't think you can go wrong with this camera if you are an amateur photographer and just want great photos for your personal memories. Also, very easy to use, but do ready instructions first.
20 Needs more directions
I still do not know how to use the self-timer or where it even is after a year.Is there a remote that goes to this camera? Also the skin tones are too light sometimes. How can I avoid too light with the auto flash and could someone tell me how the autoflash works.Friends like it however.Too small a view finder. Why is it you can never get all the features you want in one camera? Why not a big view finder on all cameras?I lose shots trying to focus with the tiny view finder.
21 Perfect Teaching Tool for Beginning Photographers
This camera is perfect for beginning photographers because it allows you to view the picture immediately after taking it. Here are the features:
1. Preview Screen: This helps a lot with issues of lighting, but the preview is not large enough to see small details, such as if someone's eyes are closed. Also, you can't see the preview clearly when you're standing in a brightly lighted area.
2. Cropping: After taking the picture you can preview the different cropping options and then choose either a close-up, a normal shot, or a wide shot.
3. Number of Copies: After taking the picture you can choose how many copies you want, from 0 to 9 copies. If you choose 0 copies you do not get to reuse the exposure, as with digital cameras. It simply tells the machine not to print that picture. The fact that the camera tells the machine how many copies to print can cause some confusion with film developers who are used to asking how many copies you want of the entire roll. However, the camera comes with a supply of stickers that can be attached to the film envelope to explain this to the developers.
4. Preview for One Shot Only: You can only preview and modify the last shot you took. Once you take another shot you cannot go back to previous shots. The worst part about this is that you can never see the last shot on a roll of film, because the camera rewinds it before you get a chance.
22 So much fun to use!

Before using this camera, I pictured myself madly fiddling with a bunch of buttons after taking each photo. This just wasn't the case - it took virtually no time to preview each print and make the choices for it. Granted, it's a very small color screen, so you can't judge details or sharpness of the photo. But you can judge the angle and overall effect of the photo you just took. You can then choose, in a matter of seconds, what size you'd prefer it to be and how many prints you'd like developed (0-9).

This camera is a great size, large enough to be comfortable in your hand. I like that the lens cover is hard, attractive and opens with ease. I'd never used APS before, and I love being able to drop in the film and go. The camera takes two batteries, which load quickly.

I had read about the difficulty of finding a developer to process this film correctly. The top two online developers will not process the number of prints you choose when you expose the film. The head of the film processing at our local [store] had never developed preview film, but he was eager to try it out. Sure enough, he printed the number of prints we wanted and the sizes we chose.

I will be carrying this camera on our trip to Scotland, mainly for the preview function. I'll never have to order reprints again - choosing negatives, filling out forms. And no wasted prints! My favorite feature is the ability to print the date and time on the back of each photo. There will be no need to keep a film log as we go.

I have withheld one star from the rating because of the actual picture quality. Though the pictures have great color, those taken with the flash are a bit too harsh. The quality just isn't as clean and professional as those taken with my Olympus Stylus Epic 80. But the preview feature is so convenient and easy to use that I am willing to lose a slight bit of quality. For those who are not willing, I have a feeling we'll be seeing more of this technology.

24 Picture quality good, but hard to see picture on screen
So far, just about all of my pictures have turned out using this camera. There is just one down side. I bought the camera so I could preview my pictures first, and you can barely see the picture on the screen. They need to make the screen bigger.
25 What a great concept!
After reading all I could about this camera, I finally invested in one (hint--it's one hundred dollars less at... than it is anywhere else) about a month ago. I have thoroughly enjoyed it. The freedom to choose how many prints you want without messing with reprint hassles is terrific! I have a 16 month old who is my main subject, and often I either get a great shot that I know EVERYONE will want a copy of, or he moves and I miss the moment. With this camera I know right away if I got a good one or if I need to try again. I took it to a Mardi Gras party this weekend and my friends loved seeing the pictures as the night progressed.

For my own stubborn reasons I am not into the digital camera thing...I like film, 1 hour photo shops, etc. This camera gives me a hybrid of technologies and I love it.

The camera is a little bulky compared to the Elph2 I traded for it. But the red-eye problem I had with the Elph is eliminated by this camera, probably due to the distance of the flash from the lens.

Check this camera out--I really am pleased with mine, both function and photo quality. Eckerd's equipment was able to read the encoded film with no problem. I especially recommend this camera to parents of small children--what a convenience!

26 difficulty finding a developer
I have had a hard time finding anyone to develop this film. The store sent it in to Kodak processing which had the special label for this type of film. It came back with all different photos than I had ordered. I have called around to eveyplace in the area and nobody has the equipment, nor had they heard anything about the fact that you could order different amounts of specific prints. Very expensive developing...the one roll that I received. Picture quality generally not as good as on screen, not as good as any of the SLR cameras that I have. The prints were .89 cents each. If anyone knows a better way to do this please let me know. I have called Kodak and after much waiting, and getting different numbers I was informed that they could sent me an order form from a company which will sell you envelopes to send the film in, each envelope, ..., and you must buy 5 at a time. I am assuming that they charge extra for the extra photos that you order. There must be a better way. ...
I like the idea of the screen and being able to select the amt of prints and hope that I will be able to use it more successfully.
27 accessibility to developing
When I took my first roll in to be sent to Kodak and developed it
came back with completely different pictures than I had chosen for the most part and the incorrect numbers of the three that they got correct. I have called numerous photo developers in our area and none have the capacity to do the developing in the store. Also the developing was far more expensive than any other film..amounting to approximately .89 cents per print. I called Kodak to see if there was a mail in way to develop these correctly and after many different calls and much research was directed to a company who will send me a form to order "envelopes" at 12.99 each, and I must order 5 of them at a time.
When I send the film in in the envelope they will develop the photos and, I assume, charge extra for the extra photos ordered.
The photos that I got were just O K...not the quality of my SLR cameras.
I like the display to be able to see the image immediately, but I expected that I would be able to review all of them at the end...not true. I would wait to buy this camera until the developing becomes simpler and accurate, and perhaps the screen a bit clearer. The viewfinder size seemed adequate to me.
28 great camera
This camera is one of the coolest cameras you will come across. I love how you can strike out pics you don't want and change the pic to panoramic or whatever after you take it. Its the perfect camera for a teen or adult. My friend has one, and us girls went crazy using it. Its the camera of the future and a wonderful investment.
29 The Best Non-Digital Bang for the Buck
I've owned this gem for about six months and taken a few hundred pictures with it since then. I'm glad I bought it. Here's the scoop.

Pro:
1. It allows you to take 4 x 6, 4 x 7, or 4 x 11.5 sized pictures with a touch of a button. Even more impressively, though, you can CHANGE THE PRINT SIZE after you've already taken the picture! So, you take it in one format, examine it through the large display on back, and then can accept that format, change it to a different format, or delete the picture. It's a great feature when you're out shooting scenes or landscapes, and you want to compare how the picture will look in each style.

2. With the right film (400 and above), this camera has taken solid pictures for me. I've had several folks tell me the quality is professional looking. This was one reason why I chose this camera over a digital camera -- the picture sharpness. For those of you considering digital cameras, remember that all but the most advanced of them won't have the tight pixelization of this cheaper APS camera.

3. The battery is long lasting. I'm on my 400th picture or so and the battery is going strong.

4. This camera uses drop and shoot APS film. APS film, unlike 35 MM, allows for the digitization of your pictures direct from your local processor. I've developed every roll with print pictures and a CD-ROM. I can keep the pictures in an album and e-mail some images from the CD to friends and family far away. The Kodak software (Free with the cd) allows you to manipulate the images, make desktop pictures, and other fun stuff. Also, APS processing gets you a neat one-page sheet with the negatives numbered and shown in miniature in case you want to order reprints.

5. The LCD preview, obviously, makes this camera stand out. It's a clear picture (mostly -- see below), and it is 100% accurate in predicting the size and clarity of the final photo.

6. Advanced features -- the camera has some advanced flash features (low light, portrait mode, etc.) that prove useful in some circumstances. More impressive, though, is that the camera has an auto-flash mode that 'knows' when to use the special features.

Neutral
1. The zoom lens isn't as powerful as some other APS cameras, but it does its job. Basically, it allows me to get slighly closer than my eye can see, but you're not going to see a basketball player's eyes if you're shooting from the upper level of the arena. For that, you'd need at 35MM camera with a zoom lens. But, if you're using this camera for ordinary landscapes and close-ups, the lack of a strong telescopic lens doesn't make much of a difference.

Cons:
1. The flash is rather weak, and if you're doing a lot of nightime photography, even with fast film, you'd want to get a 35 MM camera that can accomodate a wider range of flashes and lenses. I've had several good scenes not turn out so well, because I overestimated the reach of the flash.

2. The LCD screen is great with photos in daylight or dusk, but does less well with photos in the dark. I've had a few photos look completely blacked out on the screen but then actually come out looking *okay* when they came back from the lab. But, unless a whole bunch of your photos are taken at night, this shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Overall:
For what you're paying, you're getting a great APS camera with some digital features that takes great pictures, allows you to correct your mistakes, and preview your work. Unless you're a professional photographer, it's hard to beat. I'd definitely buy mine again.

30 Didn't meet expectations
On several fronts, this didn't meet my expectations. The display quality is far inferior to what I expected - the pictures even on the box had to have been retouched because they were far clearer than anything I saw! I waited until I had developed two rolls of film using this camera, and was not impressed with the picture quality. For close-up pictures, it was not bad - about equal with any other point and shoot. For distance pictures, however, I found the quality poor.
31 Save your money
I have found this camera more trouble than it is worth. This is primarily for 2 reasons: 1) the pictures are significantly grainier than a single lens camera, and 2) I have yet to find a developer who has the upgraded kodak equipment needed to develop the film properly and who has actually heard of the technology. I have gone to lengths to utilize the many features of the camera, only to have various kodak developers not be able to complete the job.
32 The small problem with the preview camera
The kodak preview camera is one of the most innovative camera's on the market. and when you are using it. you are sure to get many admirer's. My small problem with this camera is with the view finder, and that IS the problem. The viewfinder is VERY small. Myself and other's really had a hard time seeing through it. I'm hoping kodak will address this problem soon.
33 Dated, Timed and previewed
I got exactly what I wanted in this camera. I couldn't afford to buy a digital camera. This camera gave me the preview capablities I was looking for. I had wanted a camera that still needed a roll of film, which this one does. I just used it to take Christening pictures and everyone wanted a shot and I just told the camera how many of each shot to produce. I couldn't be happier. If you have your heart set on a digital camera, this is not the camera for you, but if you're like me and can't afford the digitals crazy prices, then this is the camera for you.
34 Preview Review
I purchased this camera for our vacation to London. We had never used it before the trip. The camera was extremely easy to learn to use, and the preview feature made it easy to check to make sure we had the photo we wanted before we left the site. The camera was also very easy to load. When I picked up our photos today, they were all good, which definitely made it worth it to me. I am very pleased with this product.
35 Wonderful
This camera is great! Seeing the picture right away has saved sooo much film. We often took 2 or 3 pictures of our child to make sure we "got the shot". Plus, with family living all over the country the reprint feature is super and keeps me from having to drive back and forth to the store to get film and reprints developed. Well worth the price. Perfect for families and scrapbookers.
36 camera
I really like this camera!! It takes excellent photos. I take them outdoors or in. It does wonders on horses and dogs!! The photos turned out wonderful. I love to be able to select the amount of photos that I want.
37 make sure you know what exactly you're getting
first things first, this is a kodak camera, with all the bells and whistles of their most advanced aps cameras on the market now, with one add-on: the window in the back. as a kodak aps camera it delievers some of the highest quality, truest-to-life shots available from a point-and-shoot type camera. ok, so what about the nifty little feature on the back? other reviewers have cited it as a "digital pretender," it is not so. the preview window is an exciting new feature that will soon be copied by many other camera manufacturers. if you belong to the group of people who prefer analog photos to digital ones (i won't list the pros and cons of these choices, but i will say that i prefer the analog), this camera will be fabulous for you; if you want digital, go get one of those. this camera gives you a chance to "see" the picture that you just took, pick which of the aps sizes you want *after* you take the picture, add a preprogrammed title to the back, and chose the number of prints you want. i say "see" because the digital picture on the back is actually taken through the viewfinder and modified with complex algorithms through a specially developed processor, and isn't *exactly* what you will get in the finished picture, but it's very close-more than adequate to be able to make judgments on aps type, number of prints and such. so, what do all of these options allow you to do? they allow you to save money. let's say you take this camera with you on a sightseeing trip to france. you no longer have to rely on fate to get that stunning picture of the arc de triomphe at sunset. the preview window lets you see almost exactly the picture you just took, and if you don't like it, you can take another. however, if you do like the picture you took, you won't have to take a "just in case" shot, since you know you already got it. furthermore, if you take a horrible picture, you don't have to pay for it to get processed now. perhaps most conveniently, you no longer have to order entire rolls of doubles, or go through and order reprints one by one: if 6 other people in your tour group would like a copy of your arc photo, you can simply tell the camera to tell your photo-finisher to make 7 copies. if after you take your arc photo you get someone to take one of you in front of the arc, you don't have to get another copy that no one else will want. for those of us who want an analog camera but lust over the convenience of digital this is by far the best option available as of now.
38 Not a digital camera, but not bad APS.
This is a pretty good APS camera, but nothing extraordinary. The 'preview' screen allows you to see a small, low resolution image of the picture you have just taken. From that glimpse you can decide whether to encode the APS film with a 'do not print' instruction to the processor, you can order multiple prints and you can change the format (like from std to panoramic). [Please be aware, though, that not all film processors have the equipment to process this extra data, and in many cases it counts for naught] You cannot store the image (as on a SmartMedia or CompactFlash card) to view later or to download to your PC. You can only look at the last photo you've taken and then only on the tiny screen (there is no 'video out' that would allow you to preview it on a TV or PC screen). However, as the price has fallen, this extra digital trick has become a fairly justifiable and certainly an innovative addition to an APS camera.
39 Display Disappointment
I love the concept of preview and the option to select multiple prints. Yet, the display screen is much too small and impossible to see in sunlight. I was going to return the camera until I got my film developed and saw the wonderful pictures the camera did provide.
40 Cool!
This is a very cool camera. I am a scrapbooker (I have two small children) and this is right up my alley! I can take a picture, preview it and if it's a good one and I know other members of my family will want copies, I can select extra copies. If it's not, I can select 0 copies and the picture will not be printed. However, it is not erased. It still uses up film. You can also print titles on the back of the picture. How cool is that? Choose between panoramic or regular and it automatically prints that way during photo processing. The viewfinder didn't bother me any and I found the zoom to be adequate for my needs. I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND THIS CAMERA.
41 Great Camera
I think this camera is a great find.I love using mine. The viewfinder is a little hard to use but they all are for me.The wonder of seeing what you just took and knowing its what you want out does any problems I have with the viewfinder. You do have to deal with lots of questions from the people around you who ask how you like having a digtal camera and you have to tell them its a APS camera. If you cut off heads like me or take a lot of thumb prints this is the camera for you.

43 kodak could do better
The camera is a great idea. The ability to tell the developer what to do is a plus also. The view screen is somewhat of a dissapointment. Often the contrast is poor and the three preset brightness levels are not very good either. Of most importance to note is the view finder which is used to set up your photo. I don't know what Kodak was thinking when they chose a view finder this size but if you wear glasses I would not recommend this camera because of the view finder's size. The zoom is not infinite it has three preset levels. Shame on kodak for skimping on this camera. Try the c700 or c800 instead.
44 Preview your photos on the LCD screen and still use film
This camera is an amazing hybrid of digital and film technology. It shoots normal APS film, producing negatives and prints like any standard camera, but it also has an LCD preview screen on the back like a digital camera. Some sneaky optics capture the scene simultaneously on the film and on a digital sensor, allowing you to see your image on the screen -- Was it in focus? Did someone blink? Plus, it allows you to select how many copies of that print you would like the photofinisher to make, from 0 to 9. If you shoot a bad picture, choose 0, and you'll not waste any prints. If you shoot 5 friends and everyone wants a copy, choose 5. Most labs offering APS processing will comply with your wishes, as they are magnetically encoded on the film itself. It should help organize your photographs by not wasting bad prints and by allowing "reprints" right at the camera instead of later. The only drawback is that each new image deletes the previous preview, so you can't flip through a whole set. Very cool, overall.

Quote of the Day:

Bypasses are devices that allow some people to dash from point A to

point B very fast while other people dash from point B to point A very
fast. People living at point C, being a point directly in between, are
often given to wonder what's so great about point A that so many people
from point B are so keen to get there and what's so great about point B
that so many people from point A are so keen to get _____there. They often
wish that people would just once and for all work out where the hell
they wanted to be.
