Kodak BC4201 Carousel 4200 Projector

The Kodak Carousel 4200 projector gives you sharp, bright images and quiet, dependable operation. It accepts 2-by-2-inch slides in either 80- or 140- slide trays. Its safety thermal fuses protect the projector from overheating while the slide prewarmer prevents the slides from "popping." The carousel tray allows you to load slides quickly and gives you access to all slides at all times. When no slide is being projected, the dark screen shutter latch automatically masks the light. The remote control lets you scan forward and in reverse, as well as adjust the focus, without having to leave your seat. You can adjust the projection level up to 16 degrees. The projector comes with a full one-year warranty. Lens not included with projector.
1 Generally Satisfied
Projector arrived on time and in excellent condition. This model does not have an automatic/remote focusing feature, which means the operator must adjust focus manually at projector. There is, however, a corded remote slide advancer. Apart from these model shortcomigs, this projector is easy-to-use and reliable, just as we have come to expect Kodak carousels to be.

Delivery took 8 days. Item operates smoothly and quietly.
Anyone looking for a basic slide projector would be satisfied with the 4200. Be sure to note that you will also need to purchase a lens.
3 Bad Customer Service
Don't be mis-led by "Usually Ships In 24 Hours". I ordered this unit by credit card. Took them 6 days to process the order. Then took another 4 days in transit. When I received the unit it was missing the focusing lens rendering it totally useless. Now I have to return it, 4 days transit, wait until they process the return, 6 to 10 days, then another 4 days transit. Hopefully, the replacement will have all the parts to it. If you really need this item, buy it elsewhere.

Quote of the Day:

"Deep" is a word like "theory" or "semantic" -- it implies all sorts of

marvelous things. It's one thing to be able to say "I've got a theory",
quite another to say "I've got a semantic theory", but, ah, those who can
claim "I've got a deep semantic theory", they are truly blessed.
-- Randy Davis

Those who can, do; those who can't, simulate.
