Kodak's ELITE Chrome 100 film is a good choice for general picture taking under lighting conditions ranging from open shade or overcast to bright sunlight. Though it's designed for exposure with daylight or electronic flash, it can be exposed with tungsten illumination (3,200 K) when using filters. This film is also ideal for nature or underwater photography applications. Color prints, enlargements, duplicate slides, internegatives, and photo CDs can be made from the original slides.
1 Fine Amateur Version of Kodak's new saturated Ektachromes
Kodak Elite Chrome 100 is one of the finest slide films currently available. With regards to sharpness and contrast, it is surpassed only by Kodachrome 64 and Fujichrome Velvia and Provia 100 films; it is certainly as saturated as these, if not more. It uses the same technology which Kodak introduced for its new Ektachrome 100 VS saturated professional slide film; as an amateur version of Ektachrome 100 VS, it should be less susceptible to rapid changes in temperature than the professional version. From my own experience I have found that this film produces bright, bold colors. If you're interested in subdued colors, then this film won't be your primary choice.
