1 DON'T waste your money...
I also had this battery come with the docking station and when I went to charge it, the green lights would come on for about 5-10 seconds and go off. Battery was never used so you figure out if it's worth the money??
2 These batteries do not charge
Both my sister and I bought these batteries. They do not hold a charge and eventually stopped taking a charge all together. I would not recommend these batteries for your Kodak camera. (Both cameras however work great). It is disappointing that Kodak has associated these poor batteries with excellent cameras.
3 No enough information about product
Amazon fails to give the part number of this recharageable battery. Kodak makes a couple of different rechargeable batteries. Upon purchasing this battery pack I discovered that the one I received would not charge on the dock. Also, the battery pack was shipped with the packaging damaged and the battery was loose in the box. I would definitely recommed anybody needing and purchasing this particular battery pack order it directly through Kodak.
4 These worked very well for me, but are hard to find
These came with the Kodak camera dock. Once charged, I am routinely able to take approximately 150-160 photos before the battery has mostly discharged. I used it regularly for about 1 year before it would not hold a charge. It's a good thing that they are available online though--they are hard to find locally, even at the store where I bought the camera and the dock.
5 KODAK NiMH Packs Need a FULL CHARGE:+-:
Seeing some reviews here puzzled me first.
The batteries FIRST do need a full charge. Once charged even on NiCADs you should let them run all the way down as new charges only charge as high as the last time. One more reason to chage them fully.
Seeing high cost basis is not great so thats why I shop here to comapre and save.
Who likes paying a higher price for what your able to get for less when you read , compare then share.
6 These batteries won't even charge!
This pair of batteries came with the EasyShare Camera Dock 6000 that I bought. When I installed them for the first time, I was able to shoot only one pic before they went dead. Guessing that I'd have to separate them from the metal bracket & the black plastic wrapping, I did so, then inserted the separated, gray batteries in the proper directions. But that didn't get them to work. Next I read my camera's instruction manual & found that they came in the package UNCHARGED! You have to charge these things before their FIRST USE! As if that weren't enough, when I put my camera on the dock, the little green light at the left came on, but the charging-progress lights at the right didn't. Forget constant recharging; these things won't charge AT ALL. I suppose separating them (& not reading instructions first) did turn out to be a mistake on my part, but still, why did Kodak bother including them with the dock? Why oh why did they bother???
7 An Unhappy Customer
This battery came with the Kodak Camera Dock 6000. It simply does not hold a charge for more than 4-5 pictures. I am very disappointed with it and am looking to replace it with another brand - one that will work!
8 Save your money! Will not keep a charge!
I just got the Kodak EasyShare Dock 6000, which came with this battery pack. I also followed Kodak's charging instructions (charge fully, discharge, charge fully, discharge, etc.) and still this battery would not hold a charge past 4 or 5 photos. It's junk! I am looking to see if another company makes a battery pack that can be used with this Dock. Till then, I will stick with CR-V3 lithium batteries.
9 Do not like the rechargeable battery
I got a rechargeable with camera and it becomes low after a few picture's. I went out and bought batteries at Radio Shack (lithium) which are working great!! Now I see other's are having the same problem I was, so... I'll stick to the lithium.
10 Great Price for a Great Product
I have been using the same set of Kodak rechargable batteries with my kodak camera and camera dock for 2 years without any problems. I take at least 20-30 pictures a day on a single charge and have never had the batteries die even upto 40 pics with flash. I do this 5 days a week on my kodak digital (Job Related/Real Estate Appraiser) and these batteries have held their charge and quickly recharge upon placing the camera in the dock. I highly recommend these batteries without hesitation.
11 Do not buy it!
Got the battery with the docking station. I only got three pictures before it went low. I have had no luck with it keeping a charge past one picture since.
12 Another customer feeling the pain
I thought that the original battery I got with the camera was just a dud - but now I see that everyone else is also having these problems. Darn! I will save my money and just buy disposables. Anyone know if I can use regular AA batteries?
13 Mi-MH Rechargeable Battery Pack
Battery was excellent! Note the word "WAS".After chasing down many leads and electronic supply depots I have been unable to personally purchase a duplicate NI-MH battery to replace the original lost in Alaska!
14 wear out in under a week
the camera is a great product, but Kodak keeps getting me on the come back. I have to buy these stupid batteries every few eeks it seems. I wish someone would have warned me before buying this camera.
15 weak
battery was dead from the time i bought it had to charge constantly
16 Kodak rechargeable battery
Battery is a waste of time and money. Will not hold a charge long enough to take 10 pictures even when not using live view or the flash. It's ridiculous that a company such as Kodak cannot put out a product that works better than that. I was glad to see I was not the only person having this problem.
17 Save your money
This battery does not hold a charge, in spite of following Kodak's instructions for charging it. Very unsatisfactory.
18 Don't waste your money!!
I purchased THREE battery packs and not one of them lasts as long as they should. I get a maximum of about 45 minutes between the three of them. I always get stuck at functions with way fewer pictures than I would like. I'm not sure what to recommend in place of the battery pack but I'm looking for something rechargeable. . .that works! This product really does not work and was a complete waste of my money. I hate to give bad ratings but this one is not even worth the one star I gave it.
19 no juice
I love my Kodak camera, hate my kodak battery. Unfortunately, you have to use this particular battery if you have an easy dock. I wish I didn't have an easy dock now. I think any other rechargable battery would be better than this one.
20 Does not hold charge.
I have spent hours dealing with kodak on this horrible battery that would not hold a charge (no flash, didn't use the digital viewfinder, ect.) but still could only get a couple pics per charge, and I did condition the battery per kodak's instructions. DO NOT BUY THIS CAMERA! My parent's have an Olympic and do not have this problem. And Kodak's customer service is rude, can't spell, and no help. THERE IS NO WARRANTY ON THEIR BATTERIES, just the camera.
21 Reluctant purchase
I am reluctantly ordering this replacement battery. The first one gave poor service. Very frustrating to take your camera somewhere and get only a couple of shots before the battery goes dead. The non-rechargeable ones that came with it did better than that. When I talked to Kodak they recommended downloading a different software presumably so my computer could teach the battery how to hold a charge longer. It didn't work. Gonna try again. Wish it was at Kodak's expense. If this one doesn't work I'm gonna look for a good price on a case of disposable AA batteries. Or maybe I'll try another camera. Can't afford this.
