1 I love the cd player... not the whole package...
I have read many reviews of this cd player and thought why not and bought it.. then I thought the worst reviews were true when I tried playing a cd and it sounded like crap... Then I tried different stuff, and finnally, I took off the headphones(which are uncomfortable for me, but they do look cool), and I put in a pair of sonys, and it sounded perfect... The headphones seem like they disort the sound when people are singing..the music sounds great but the singing gets a weird sound as if they are singing in a large parking garage and having alot of echoing... The only other problem I found was the slot for the adapter... It doesnt go in all the way, but it still works fine. It just seems odd.. Other than those couple things, its a great cdplayer. Just buy some other headphones.
2 Don't Look Back
So I thought this was a pretty goog player for the price when I got it. I've had it for three months and I'm about to throwit out the window. The green plasic in the head phones broke in about a month. The controls on the player do not do what they are suppose to. You hit the back button and it advance the to the next song instead of going back. You try to change the playing mode it and it goes into the programing mode. In general the button just don't dop what there suppose to. the anti-skip is pretty good but thats it. Spend the extra money on a real cd player.
3 Buttons Have Mind of Own
Don't buy it. Like another person who posted on 12/25, I've found that the buttons do not work. For instance, when I press the ">>|" button that is supposed to advance to the next track, it goes into repeat mode. When I hit that same button again, it begins to cycle through all of the other modes (e.g. shuffle, etc.). Same goes for the other buttons. I'm unable to stop the disc using the Stop button. To stop it, I have to open the player. It's pretty maddening.
4 Awful
Just about the most awful CD player I've ever owned. The neat thing about mine is that none of the buttons (stop, play, fwd) do what you want. They randomly do whatever they feel like. Sometimes FWD will change the MODE, i have to hit the STOP button about 10 times to get it to stop, otherwise it ADVANCES the track. Eesh. I wish I had never bought this thing.
5 Very good deal
My brother owns a very good Sony CD player that he is alwaysbragging about. ... . He was telling me that I didn't have enough money for a good CD player. I proved him wrong. As soon as I showed him an ad for this one, he said, "Koss? Are you crazy?" I bought this CD player from Amazon and I really enjoy it. It puts out a really good sound, the extra bass sound adds a lot of bass, it has awesome headphones, and the car pack lets the whole family listen to CDs in the car. It has never skipped with ASP on, and it even has good skip protection without the ASP on. This player hasn't yet given me any problems, and it is all for an incredible price. My brother can't believe my CD player. Even though he doesn't want to admit it, my CD player is actually better than his.

Granted, mine has been dropped more than once, but from when I first got it this has been a crummy cd player. The buttons don't work properly. (For example, the stop button skips it back a track.) The anti-skip doesn't work very well and it takes forever to begin working once you turn it on. It also runs through batteries at an astonishing rate. Additonally, the headphones were quickly put out of commission. They were not even salvagable with duct tape.
7 Looks nice but is not good
I got this cd player for my birthday and I thought it looked nice and it was a pretty color, but I used it once and after playing three songs it wasn't playing anything, although it was still on. I sent it back to the company and they sent me back another, but it was the wrong one and it is totally ugly!I wouldn't buy one of these again, I don't trust the company.
8 great product
I had a similar experience as one of the other reviewers with my CD player not working when I got it. (I got the purple one and am getting the green one for my son). I simply e-mailed customer service regarding the problem and they promptly shipped me another one and sent me a return shipping tag to send the defective player back. The replacement works perfectly and I haven't had any problems with it. Sometimes these things happen. Thank goodness Amazon has a reliable return policy.
9 The color is cool
The color is cool aquamarine green and it cost [less] than its blue counterpart. This is certainly a better buy. The price is unbeatable. And then you have the reliability of Koss. Go for it. Its cheap and good for the price.
10 Junk, pure and simple(or a shiny paper weight).
After reading others' words of praise about this item, I decided this was the gift to give my girlfriend for her birthday. Well, it arrived this afternoon and I simply had to tell everyone TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS THING! It didn't work for even a second after she took it out of the package. Tried using the AC adapter, and the message "disc" popped up on the display. Well, there was a disc in there, my friend. Tried a different disc...same result. Tried using batteries...nothing. The disc never even spun one revolution. Granted, these kinds of things do happen and I understand that. I just wanted to share our experience with this brand with other customers. I'm going to buy her an Aiwa first thing in the morning.
11 GREAT PRODUCT
This is a wonderful CD player! When I bought this I figured it would be a cheap CD player, because of the low price, but it isn't! It is very durable and sturdy, has anti skip, hold, and is a great price. Worth every penny, except the color is ugly! all the good colors are sold out but you can always put it in a cd holder...
12 Quality CD player!
I love this CD player I have had it for 2 years and it has not given me ant troble what so ever. I have droped it numerous times and it just keeps on playing no damage there! I also like the color and the position of the buttons. If your looking for a quality full time CD player that can take alot of abuse then Koss is the brand for you!
