Koss R-80 studio-quality headphones feature a dynamic element construction that utilizes neodymium iron boron magnet structures for accurate acoustic sound reproduction and oxygen-free copper voice coils for signal clarity. Extra large leatherette ear cushions provide maximum isolation and deeper bass, while pivoting ear cups allow for flexible movement during extended wear. Also included are a detachable 8-foot single-entry coiled cord for flexibility and 1/8-inch and 1/4-inch stereo plugs for home and portable use.
1 3 years and going strong
I bought these headphones over 3 years ago, and they are still going strong. I use them in the office only, so they get little abuse (e.g. I don't blast the bass at work, or anything). I have dropped them a number of times, though, and they didn't break. The sound quality is good for listening to CDs, but like I said, I don't blast the bass or anything. Finally, they are extremely comfortable. I wear them for 7+ hours some days and they don't bother me one bit.
2 Breaks Very Easily
As I was putting it on my head one day it just broke. There's just no excuse for that. I would not recommend them, but if you're going to buy them use them very, very carefully! The sounds is a little too deep and murky, too.
3 My Pair Broke Too!!!
I gave this pair of headphones a glowing review - good sound, comfortable, etc. However, while my wife was trying to talk to me, I tried to take off the headphones with my one free hand (the other was holding food) - the headphones snapped off on one end.
They are held together by 2 tiny screws into plastic. The plastic can't take the torque and they can snap off easily, especially if you try to take them off with one hand.
Opt for a better-designed set of headphones and pass on this.
4 Not very durable
Sound quality is good, very little isolation though. Very comfortable to wear. Construction is very poor though. Broke ear cups easily. Would not buy again due to poor construction.
5 Excellent sound. Bad design flaw
I purchased a KOSS R-200 stereophone set several days ago.
Sound quality: 5 stars.
As soon as I tried on these headphones I was impressed with the sound. This style is slightly heavier than some of the KOSS headphones, but I found that the extra weight faded into the background, and didn't bother me.
Construction: 1 star.
They broke after several days. This specific model seems to have a design flaw that caused the headphones to break. The joint between the strap and the earpiece did not swivel enough. The first time I took them off with one hand (bending the right earpiece over my head) the torque that was applied to the left earpiece joint snapped the plastic.
If you are careful to always put these headphones on and take them off with two hands, they would be excellent headphones.
I have not reviewed the other KOSS products to determine if the other styles have the same design flaw. This could be why the reviews in this section seem to be mixed as far as whether or not KOSS products are built well or flawed, because multiple models are lumped together into these reviews.
6 Breakage bad....
Having suffered through a wide variety of garbagey headphones in my time, I was very pleased with the quality of sound to be found in these. Unfourtunately, my hapiness was short lived, as 3 months following my purchase, the plastic housing for the swiveling earpiece just snapped off...Never one to be discouraged, I repaired it with a small metal rod bent as a "splint" for the broken piece, and attached to the housing with electrical tape...much to my chagrin, the otherside broke 2 weeks later...in exactly the same way! well, I did the same ghetto style fix for the other side that I had for the first, and theyre still usable, although barely presentable... this is not a reliable product is the long and the short of it....
7 Good Buy
I bought these headphones as an upgrade from my Maxell HP 550 headpones and I am not the lease bit disappointed. The reason I tried a different pair was because the Maxell headpones made my ears hurt within 2 minutes of listening. These headphones are clear and go easy on my ears even when I have the volume high, not to mention there quite comfy. I haven't tried any other headphones that are in this price range but if you decide to buy some more expensive heaphones instead of the cheap ones, like I use to own, you can't go wrong with these.
8 Single worst product purchased ... ever
These wounded awful and fell apart after two uses. The ear phones are way too heavy for the headset and fell apart.
Do not purchase these.
9 incredible sound performance, bad producing quality
I once have KOSS R100. It is light, comfortable and provide
both strong bass and crisp mid-frequency response. HOWEVER,
you got to be careful when you put on and off it from your
head because it has a fragile plastic connection at earpads
and headband. Mine is broken already at both sides. :(
10 Great 'Home' headphones
I got these as a gift and was surprised at the high quality sound and excellent noise isolation. I listen to music (and the radio) mostly while working on the computer.
These may be a home product but you'd be hard pressed to find higher priced studio headphones which would provide better overall response with such clean bass.
Check them out!
11 Nice durability, average sound.
I bought these headphones because my Aiwa HP-X222 headphones would always break. With the Aiwa HP-X222, the spot where the cord connected to the headphones was very cheaply made, and just one light trip over the cord would break it.
So I bought a pair of Koss R-80 headphones for durability, and I am very satisfied. The cord is coiled up, so it doesn't lay around on the floor and get tangled around your feet, causing accidents. The cord can stretch pretty far, and it connects using a plastic piece which clips into the headphones. You can unclip the cord from the headphones, in case it gets tangled.
If you do manage to trip over the cord, or yank it by accident, the cord will just pop out of the headphones. The plastic piece feels a bit flimsy, but I haven't had it break on me yet.
The sound quality is average. Low bass frequencies are slightly distorted, and high frequencies seem dull. My Aiwa HP-X222 headphones had much better sound quality, and clarity. Too bad they broke way, way too easily.
I've been using my pair of Koss R-80 headphones for a few months now, and I have had no problems. :)
12 Amazing!
These headphones are great. You can't find anything else that sounds this good in this price range. Koss does stereophones right!
I have had my UR-20s for more than a year. They still sound great and have been stuffed into my backpack almost every day since i bought them. One of my size adjuster clips has broken, but it is no doubt due to my reckless use. Even broken, they fit comfortably on the head.
The ear cups are big enough for anyone's ears. They cover your ear completely and do not "crowd" your ear like the smaller UR-29s do.
The bass is amazing and the insulating ring makes such a close seal with your head that you will not hear anything while you have these headphones on. I don't like listening to music while I sleep, but I have used these headphones as noise reducers (without playing any music) on many occasions and bus rides.
Note that these headphones are larger than most. This is probably why they sound so great. I especially like that the headband is made of rubber coated metal to keep the phones close to your head, with a cloth balancing strap below that to make it comfortable in any situation.
Koss is the king as far as affordable, amazing stereophones go. Buy the UR-20s and you'll be glad you did. I have had no problems.
13 Just what I needed.
I'm currently in the process of restoring about 150 vinyl records when my trusted friends, my Pioneer SE-306 headphones that I bought in Japan in 1978, gave out. I ordered the KOSS R-80's as replacements. I won't go into audiophile detail about frequency response, sound artifacts, and all that other stuff; I got exactly what I wanted. Lightweight, good isolation, all around good response, comfortable to wear for a few hours at a time and priced right. Don't expect any revelations when you use these, just the music.
Ordered them on a Tuesday morning with free shipping and had them Thursday night.
14 Great for Stereo TV/DVD watching
I've had mine for three years now, and I find the UR20s indispensible, since I live in an apartment and can't turn the TV up to a decent level otherwise. There's reasonable bass; you would expect so for the size of them. Always look at the specs. The low number is the bass, the high number (usually in the tens of thousands) is the treble. This set's bass is 30 Hertz. That's That's not a bad number; 20 is average, 12 would be phenomenal. The treble is set at 20,000 Hertz. Theoretically, only dogs can hear frequencies above that, but I think a headphone with a figure over that just seems to sound brighter in the treble, which is what I like. I hate unclear treble and muddy, distorted bass. Another number you look at is sensitivity; the better ones are always over 100. So, I guess based on the specs, these 'phones are about average.
The cord length is excellent at 8 feet. I can be a reasonable distance away from the TV without straining the cord; I've even slept with them on without ear fatigue.
These headphones make movie watching a whole new experience...you get surround sound without the expense!
I've had a great experience with the UR20s and I recommend them for use with home theater, even if you just have a 20" portable like mine. You need an adapter to plug them into a home stereo, and there's plenty of cord where you can be either reasonably mobile or you can sit in your favorite chair some distance away. I think they're great. The only thing that would make them the best is better specs, and that's hard to find at this price range.
15 Okay for a cubicle dweller
I got this as a birthday gift last year to use at work and it does the job well. It eliminates background noise pretty well and audio quality is good. Ears do get hot after a while ( a couple of hours) and you'll need to relieve the heat every now and then by taking it off.
Structurally the cable connects to the headset with the phone-jack like plastic connectors. These look quite flimsy. I have been careful about how I use treat the cable, but the plastic connector will probably get ripped sometime or the other.
All in all, for the price it is a good buy.
16 Not Too Bad, Not Too Good
I got this item for a price that would have been a little over the top for a GOOD pair of headphones. The sound quality was good, and you can always expect that from a Koss quality headphone, but the only downside to this is that the durability is not too great. Mine started breaking after only 3 and a half months. However, i would highly recommend that everyone should buy the Koss TD - 61 because it is one of the greatest headphones that i have come across. Yes, it is on amazon and you can go to the headphone section and click on Average Customer Rating. What surprizes me is that it was actually less expensive than the Koss TD - 10, and it only has much better quality and durability. I wouldn't recommend this product to anyone who would take it for jogging or running, but what can i say, it is a STEREOPHONE. In conclusion, do not buy this product if you want the best in quality (there are better headphones and prices out there!).
17 Great Headphones, Great sound at a Great Price!
A while back, I was in the market for a New set of headphones, because my old Koss headphones were warn out. I knew from the old set of Koss headphones that Koss was A GREAT brand. So I checked out all my options, and decided on the R-200's. I soon recieved them, and I LOVE them.
Ok, they may not be the best you can get, but for the money you cannot beat them. They fit very comfortably, and Sound GREAT. They deliver Good trebel, and ear busting Bass. They are well designed!
In conclusion: if you have an unlimited budget, you might find better headphones, but If you are like the rest of us, and you just want a very good set of headphones for a reasonable price, you want The KOSS R-200's.
18 Best headphones ever...so far.
First off, these are extremely well built. I got these headphones for christmas about 3 years ago and they've been used by all my family, and because of that hung from the cord, dropped onto wood and concrete floors, all that countless times. I love the sound of them. Ive used them for DJing, remixing, with my iPod, on my computer, and they're very comfortable and affordable. The bass on these headphones is awesome. Once to remix I used my sister's new Sony MDR-V700DJ's that I thought would be better because they were so much expensive, they actually didn't sound much better. There was no bass, and the speakers were too small. They only covered some of my ear, which I did not like, while these cover my ears-and a little more-to "trap" the sound. i've been using these headphones since I was using Acid XPress almost 3 years ago to now, where I use a mixing board, turntables, Acid Pro, FLStudio 4, you get the idea.
19 Koss UR20 - Best sound for the price
I've used these headphones for a few months now, with the main use for my home computer. The bass range is very reasonably low, shaking my head at times (in my view that is good). In contrast, the treble is fairly high without hurting my ears. They are very sturdy, I've tripped on the cable innumerable times and have not broken them yet. This is not a recommendation to swing them from the cable though!
One of the problems is (mentioned before by reviewers and I do stress it is true) the headphones getting hot and sweaty inside. I also found discomfort from too much stress on my ears. My recommendation is that you find a way for UR20s to stop them resting on the top of your ears.
All in all, for the price, and the quality of the sound (which is very rich and bassy), the Koss UR20's are a best buy from Amazon.
20 Fantastic
This is a fantastic headphone for the price. It is kinda bulky, but hey I bought it for home use so no problem. The sound is terrific. Very clear and good bass. The coiled cord does not get entangled with your hand. A good buy if you want to use it in home.
21 I keep coming back!!!
I just purchased my third pair of these headphones because they keep breaking at a rate of about one pair per year after the rough treatment they get in my college dorm. Don't get the wrong idea though, they break because they get knocked off my desk and onto the hard floor at least once per day, and they still last a year or so! The sound quality can't be beat either. I used to buy nothing but Sony headphones, but they just sound hollow after listening to these. You will be hard pressed to find a pair of headphones with such great sound quality (and amazing bass!) at such a low price. They can be moderately uncomfortable at first, but give them a day or two and they stretch out to a nice fit.
22 Decent sound, flimsy construction
The plastic track on which the earpieces ride broke within a month of my purchase. The sound quality is decent for the price, but the construction could really use some work. Koss offered to replace it under the warranty without giving me any trouble, but it's not worth paying the shipping charges both ways plus the $7 warranty repair fee.
23 I was not very impressed with the sound quality
I was not very impressed with the sound quality of these phones. I was using a set of HP-X222 Aiwa phones the day before I bought these, and when I got these UR-20's I thought that the sound was so flat and lifeless compared to the Aiwas that I returned them the next day. It was like the difference between night and day. Granted, the Aiwas run for an additional $20 or so.
PROS:
*Low cost
* Quite comfortable
CONS:
* A lot of distortion: If you look up the specs on these phones they are rated at <.3%THD which isn't too great. I experienced a lot of distortion with these phones
* Flat and lifeless sound: Compared to the other sets I listened to, it sounded like I was playing music through a telephone receiver. Very thin and unexciting.
I guess if you bear in mind that you generally get what you pay for, these aren't a bad set of headphones, but if you are looking for music to ring and you want to hear things in music you haven't heard before, I would suggest laying the money down and getting a good set. My expectations may have been too high for the price.
24 Nice. Very Nice.
I'm no audio expert, but these are the best headphones I've ever owned, and I've been through a couple of pairs in this general price range. I've found these to be very helpful in my noisy office enviroment. They produce sound so clear and eliminate outside noise so well, that I'll occasionally slip them off for a second, just to make sure they're not loud enough to disturb my officemates (which they never are).
Strongly recommended.
25 Good Enough that I bought 2 more
Had only 1 problem, the left speaker attachment broke after 2 mos. My Fault(Super Glued and it worked). Have been a Koss fan since 1976.
26 Good first pair
This is the first pair of large headphones i have ever had all my other headphones were earbuds and earclips boy did these blow them out of the water and their cheap im no audiophile but these have awesome bass. mi brother has a pair of Gemini HP550 headphones and these blew them out of the water get these because they have good sound their comfortable and they have a nice long 8 foot cord.
27 Disappointing
I recently purchased an MP3 jukebox, and the slight tinniness of the included headphone set led me to seek a product of better quality. I did not find it in the Koss R-80. This set exhibits a sharp db drop-off in both high and low frequencies, and what I can only describe as 'mushiness' in the mid-range. I did not find the set to be as uncomfortable to wear as other reviewers have noted, and the cushioning is effective at blocking exterior noise. However, this does not compensate for the poor audio quality. After an hour of listening to the R-80, I returned with relief and new appreciation to my original inexpensive set.
28 Very good but I got ripped off
An awesome piece of machinery but I got ripped off by Radio Shack... I payed around $150. One day I was playing around in Amazon and to my amazement I found that I got suckered in a deal so I advise researching in what ever your going to bye before you go and bye something... but otherwise fully happy with them and would recommend it strongly.. nice bass quality added and a sharpness that you can't get out of conventional headphones.
29 R-10's - Good sound, bad fit
I ordered these for both gaming and stereo listening; the sound is as good as can be expected from a [price] pair of headsets. The problem I have with them is that they crush my ears within 5-10 minutes. (My hat size is 7-1/4, so they might be comfortable with smaller heads). I thought of re-shaping the headband, but I'll keep looking instead.
30 Pretty decent
Given their price, these are pretty decent headphones, and worth the cash.
My only two problems with it - first, they need to be resized every time you put them on, because they seem to suffer from "pool shrinkage" - they shrink to the smallest size once you take them off.
And second is the one brought up fairly often - they don't do anything to block out outside noise. Which isn't that big a deal, as I didn't really need noise-blocking headphones anyway.
31 Excellent headphones for the price.
I bought these headphones to use with my newly-acquired TDK Mojo mp3-CD player. The combination of the headphones and the player produces great sound. I'm not an audiophile, but I listen to all kinds of music and these headphones do a great job of thumping the bass when they're supposed to, and highlighting the background flute when they're supposed to. There's no volume control on the phones and the cords come out of both earpieces, not just one, but for 25 dollars, you're not going to get frill features like those. Koss is a well-known company that makes quality products. I've used these things almost daily since September and they're still going strong. The cord is long, the sound is extremely good, the cost is relatively low, and the earpieces are comfortable for hours-long listening. What more do you need?
32 Affordable, Quality phones. Couldn't be Happier
I ordered these headphones pretty much because I had a few bucks left on an ... gift certificate and figured since I had already ordered a portable mp3 player and spend so much time on the computer listening to music (while working, surfing the net, wasting away time, etc) I could always use a pair of quality headphones.
I plugged them in and opened up my Winamp playlist the moment the headphones arrived and I took them out of the box. I couldn't be happier with them.
You know how there are certain aspects of a song you can only hear when listening to it through headphones? Background music, instrumental, balance tracks, sound effects and certain sounds to a song you just can't hear when listening to them through speakers at a normal volume level? These phones really make every part of the songs I listen to stand out. Songs I've heard thousands of times through speakers or my previous pair of mediocre headphones are completely new pieces of music for me now. The bass is great, outside noise is effective blocked out and it just seems every song I listen to now has a completely new, fresh, better sound to it. Without exagerrating, I can say that listening to one of my favorite songs with these headphones for the first time actually gave me goosebumps because I heard parts to that song I had never heard before.
For the price and the sound quality, these phones are an excellent buy.
33 I totally agree
These sound good, but the stupid plastic things break, the cord came with a short (so the sound always went in and out), and the headpiece wouldn't adjust nearly small enough for a woman with a normal-sized head (me). I bought Sennheiser this time, and I hope they work out.
34 Not for the long haul
The Koss R-80 headphones have great sound and eliminate most external noise.
They're also reasonably comfortable. But if you're looking for headphones that
will last a long time, keep looking. The earpieces attach to the headband with
plastic connectors that weaken and snap after a relatively brief time period,
leaving the earpiece dangling by a thin wire. My set broke under warranty,
and were replaced without a hassle, but the new ones died the same death.
Really a shame.
35 Great for the price range.
Terrific sound for headphones at this price, deep bass, good mid-range. I use these at home on the computer for MP3s & DVDs and they are great for both with almost zero external distractions. Only downside is the flimsy plastic construction -if you are going to use these outside make sure they are securely attached, if they fall you'll be spending a lot of time with the Scotch tape.
36 Koss R80 Headphones
I'll start off by saying that this is the most expensive pair of headphones i have purchased so i'm not an audiophile by definition. Im not a seasoned reviewer either so i'll just list the pros and cons
pros: covers entire ear and does a good job muting out peripheral noise, produces very good sound (i use it for cdplayer, laptop, guitar amplifier), cord is detachable and tangle-free (i broke my last two headphones by ripping the cord also, the tangle-free cord is connected to only one side for ease of use), comfortable (i have a fairly big head and it fits perfectly and securely)
cons: i dont recommend it for very long uses. headphones like this one that cover your entire ear promotes sweating and heat. i just take off my headphones for a few seconds to let my ears breathe and put them on again.
as you can see, the pros easily outweigh the only con. enjoy.
37 Great sound, relatively cheap, lousy ergonomics
I had a pair of the Koss TD61 headphones (their low-end headphones) and really liked them. When I had to replace them, I went one step up in their product line. These headphones produce very finely detailed sound, even at very low volume, and provide excellent bass and treble response.
My only problem with these headphones over the TD61's is that the TD61's earpieces fit comfortably over both ears, while these earpieces are noticeably smaller. The result is that these headphones press my ears down against my head while I'm listening to them. This may get uncomfortable after a while, especially if you wear eyeglasses. It also took me about 5 minutes to find the labels on which earpiece was stereo left and which was right.
38 Best sound and comfort for the money. Period.
I wear headphones off and on for about 8 to 10 hours a day. My trusty 6 year old Koss TD-61 headphones finally fell one too many times off my desk and broke. I decided that I would finally splurge and get some of those nice ... studio headphones. I began the quest for the perfect set. I went to many places and tried on all sorts of expensive and not so expensive pairs. Like Goldilocks, they were all too tight, too heavy, too small (causing extended wear cauliflower ear.) I gave up, and continued using the TD-61s with spaz tape to hold them together. Until I saw the Koss UR-20s. Definately the most comfortable I have ever worn, and so STURDY! Super light weight, and the improvement in sound over the TD-61 is astonishing! Its like a veneer has been lifted from my cds and my old favorites have new depth and quality! I am happy!
39 Incredible sound, even better price!
I'm an audio enthusiast. Highly critical of the sounds I listen to and through the headphones delivering the highs, mids, and lows. These are very good headphones. Not the best but perform solidly. Nice isolation of removing the outside noise... but really warm low ends (deeper bass response) and nice mid and high end frequency responses. I have heard many headphones... Sony MDR-V500's, MDR-V700's, and MDR-V600's. These offer a suitable replacement without the high cost. These headphones could easily double for DJ use or reference listening purposes. They are well constructed and most of all comfortable. The single wire conncetion to the left side makes them even more less likely to tangle and are reinforced to make sure they last a long life. Lifetime warranty included. Hmmmmmm. We'll see. Initial impression? Very surprised by the cery good sound and affordable pricing.
40 Uncomfortable as heck, but decent sound
Well, I needed an [inexpensive] set of headphones, and these looked comfortable, and definately [inexpensive], so I bought em. Well, at first, I was thinking, hey, the sound on these are great. 10 minutes later, I was thinking, my heads on fire! Thats right, these things dont let any heat get out of your ears, which is where the most heat leaves your body, so your head gets really hot really fast. Really really hot. Not only that, but the headband is so tight, that no matter how loose they are, they squeeze your head pretyy annoyingly. Every time i listened to these for more than a half hour, I literaly got a headache. The only redeeming qualities are that they're [inexpensive], there's pretty good sound quality, the padding is pretty comfortable, and the cable is 7 feet long, which is actually a mixed blessing. If you're just sitting there, you can move around a lot, and still be able to leave the cd player in one place, however, if you're going for a walk or something, then you keep tripping on the chord, so you hve to stuff it in your pocket. So unless you live in a really cold place, and you need an [inexpensive] pair of headphones, do not buy these
41 I must be too old...
... but these were much louder than the headphones these replaced. I use them on my PC, at work, and needed to turn the volume down. Also, the bass is quite strong, which I think is a good thing, although I put the speakers half-off my ears until I got used to it. On the strong plus side, the cord is nice and long (and I'm now the envy of the office because of it; I can reach both of my computers without losing the headphones). And the pads are quite comfortable (and should last longer than those foam thingys that wore out on my last set of 'phones).
All told, they're a good deal, and should last me a while.
42 Good for the price
These headphones are extremely comfortable and look pretty good (the look more than the price you pay) but sound quality is only so-so. They don't do a very good job of blocking external noises, and music coming through doesn't seem to sound any better than a ... set of earphones I have. However, they do the job well enough and are comfortable (which is important to me), so I would say they're worth the relatively low price.
43 Great Sound
These stereophones have simply awesome sound quality. They sound better than headphones I have listened to that were three times the price. This is one great deal. It you are looking for a great sound for little money these are the phones for you.
44 Appearance Not so Grand BUT IMPRESSIVE Sound
When I first opened my box I was a bit dissapointed at the looks of my recently bought headphones so I went through and checked the return policy as I carefully opened up the packaging so that it might be returned in proper condition. But when I tried on the headphones to listen to a few mp3s of my iMac I was quite impressed at the sound it provided. I've now been listening to them for over an hour and a half so I've decided to turn in this review. The power behind these headphones is great enough to play extremely loudly without distortion of spund due to the bass. The ear rests are very comfortable (allowing hours of easy listening). These also come with an adapter for larger headphone sockets if your system requires that. I'm keeping this until they're worn. enjoy!
45 ... Headphones
These head phones are the best!! Wicked nice bass and sound. The things shack when I crank it!! It says they are for home stereo, but im using it with my portable Mini Disc player. They are unbelevably light!! I recomend these for anyone looking for a good pair of headphones.
46 good quality for good price
i'm a student at carleton college and am constantly studying. i am one of the people who like to listen to music while studying and wanted a nice pair of headphones for my cd player when i went to the library or wherever i would go to do work. i knew i wanted a pair of koss headphones because they consistently provide great quality and back all the products with a lifetime guarentee (try finding that anywhere else). so i bought the R10's; they looked pretty stylish and the price was very reasonable. i am very satisfied with my purchase. the headphones are very comfortable and very durable. the sound is quite good and they are designed to block outside noise. i'll be honest, i have friends who have better headphones but they paid much more for them. you will get your money's worth with these bad boys.
47 Good quality for the price
I have been a loyal Koss fan for quite some time, and I must say that I am very impressed with the R10 headphones. They have a very 90s look to them and a good quality for a good price. Thumbs up for me!
48 Dissapointing for the price.
I've enjoyed Koss products before and thought these headphones would also be good but unfortunately they're not. They're quite comfortable but the sound is somewhat tinny. Something just seems missing from the sound that I can't put my finger on. It seems somewhat "distant" if that makes sense. Doesn't seem to be "right there".
I also have a pair of Radio Shack Pro 25 Titanium headphones that I bought on sale for which are much better.
I'd recommend trying other headphones before you buy these the Koss R/10.
