1 Oh come on...
This book is flat out funny... BUT NOT FOR CHILDREN. IT'S R RATED. NO, NC-17. KEEP OUT. N0 KIDS ALLOWED. ADULTS ONLY. There. As if anyone responsible would let their kid read internet humor unsupervised. Sheesh.
2 Jokes for the Discriminating Cyberlaffer
The practice of forwarding jokes to friends via email is so prevalent these days, that most folks can spot a repeat within a half-dozen words. Only a small number of those repeats are worth a second or third read. This book is excellent because Patty and Steve have a discriminating eye for spotting the best --- the ones promising to elicit the biggest smiles, chuckles or guffaws. I recognized many jokes in the book from emails, an in almost all cases, they confirmed my impression that they were worth a second or third read.
3 Best Laughs Of 2001
I just got this book and will be sending one to my son for Christmas. I know he will laugh as much as I did! Laughter is the best medicine and all of us need a bit of this medicine everyday. This book is a treasure trove of laughing matter. I hope Steve and Patty collect enough new jokes to publish another. They certainly did a good job on this one. It's gets 5 stars in my book!
4 Inappropriate for Children
The content of this book should be R-rated. It is completely inappropriate for children and the book description does not capture the adult nature of the humor.
5 A Really Funny Book!
I don't know how these people mananaged to find such funny stuff on the 'net, since just about everything I get passed along to me in my e-mail is not so funny. But wherever it came from, it's truly funny. Great for the bathroom. This this if you want to laugh or get it for a friend if you want them to. It will do the trick. Guaranteed.
6 Very funny stuff
I was skeptical about this book when I first saw it... after all, why would I pay for jokes, however good, that I could get for free on the net? Then my wife pointed put, "Because the people who made our toilet forgot to include a laptop!" I bought it for reading in the, uh, places I don't have computer access... and it's great!
7 A really funny joke book
I discovered this book in (of all places) a friend's bathroom. After reading a few pages, I decided I either had to get my own copy or move into his bathroom. I decided getting my own was the way to go. It totally rocks! Best joke book I have ever seen. One joke will be funny, only to be topped by the next one. Even the dated stuff, like the Clinton-Monica Lewinsky jokes (and there's a whole chapter of them) are still funny. Many of them I hadn't heard. The people who put this together really know what's funny. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys a good laugh. And I hope they come out with more volumes. I will buy every one.
8 THIS BOOK ROCKS!
This is one of the best joke books I have ever seen. One page after another is full of really laugh-out-loud stuff. I can't believe this one isn't on the best seller lists. It's even better than the "TOTALLY GROSS JOKES" series, which I collected. There is something here for everybody and I can't recommend it enough.
9 Laughing Out Loud Til I Cried
This by far is the best joke book I've come across. Once I started reading, I couldn't put it down. I laughed so hard my cat started looking at me funny!

Bravo Steve & Patty for a job exceptionally well done.Dividing the book into chapters is great - makes joke telling so much easier. Can't wait til the next volume comes out!

10 I Laughed Until I Cried
This is the funniest joke book I've read to date. The Marshall's have a real knack for picking out the great ones. I just couldn't stop laughing until the tears were rolling down my face. There is something for everyone; an equal opportunity offender. Don't miss this one!
11 If Laughter Is The Best Medicine, You Could Overdose
If you consider laughing a pastime, this book is "the ticket". LOL: The Humor of the Internet is by far one of the funniest books I've read in a long time. The chapter on Religion is hysterically funny and quite introspective in an odd sort of way. Hot Tip: for those of us (oops!, I mean you) who suffer from irregularity, this book makes the time pass (even if nothing else does) so beautifully. You hardly realize that a whole half hour has gone by. It's the perfect gift for the person that has everything.

A definate must read!

12 IT WILL INDEED MAKE YOU LAUGH OUT LOUD
I not only laughed out loud, but sometimes till the tears rolled. LOL is the perfect antidote for a gloomy mood and it's a great bottle-of-wine alternative for hostess gifts. I heartily recommend it for everyone with a vital funny-bone.
13 A GREAT GIFT BOOK
A great collection of really funny jokes! It's a perfect gift for anyone with a sense of humor. I love a good joke... now I can even tell one without forgetting the punch line. It's perfect to take on a car trip or have at a party. Keep the humor alive...
14 Laughed til it hurt!
So many e-mail jokes come my way that I now delete them before I read them, thus missing the good ones with the bad. Not to worry! Steve and Patty Marshall have solved the problem with their excellent collection. My husband was chuckling while he read several pages, and began to read out loud to me. Unfortunately, I'd recently had oral surgery, and I was laughing so hard I had to ask him to stop!
15 if laughter is the best medicine, this one will cure you!
From a psychiatric perspective this book is so offensive and crude that all will feel offended. In short there is equal opportunity humor for all. Do not read this book if you do not enjoy laughing At last we can say that the Internet has a personality, and it is disordered!

17 This book cracks me up!
I was surprised to find I really *was* laughing out loud reading this collection. I've been on the Internet from its early days, and on BBSes (Bulletin Boards) before that. I thought I'd read every joke possible to be e-mailed. But many of these were new even to me. Steve and Patty obviously have a real knack for ferreting out great humor. I can't wait for volume 2!
18 I laughed till I wet my pants!
This is a collection of those jokes I love but can never remember the next day. Offensive, crude, coarse -- there is something here to offend everyone! I love it! If you buy this book and don't laugh -- you're dead -- or a member of some group who take themselves way too seriosly.
19 BEST JOKEBOOK I'VE READ IN YEARS
Whoever selected the jokes for this book really knows what's funny. The title means "laugh out loud" and I did on a number of occasions. In fact, my wife wanted to know why I was laughing in the bathroom. Some of the introductions to the various chapters are almost as funny as the jokes themselves. I recommend this book for anyone who likes to laugh -- and who doesn't?
20 an anthology of jokes that have appeared on the internet
EVERYONE HAS BEEN CONNECTED TO A JOKE LIST ONLINE, YOU KNOW THE JOKES YOU READ AND SEND WHEN YOU ARE SUPPOSED TO BE WORKING. THE TROUBLE IS,MOST OF THESE JOKES ARE EITHR LAME, OR SO OLD, YOUR GRANDFATHER KNEW THEM. THE GREAT THING ABOUT THIS BOOK IS THAT THE LAME AND SENSELESS ONES ARE ELIMINATED AND THE GOOD ONES ARE CATAGORIZED. ALOT OF THEM ARE TIMELY, SUBJECTS THAT WE CAN ALL RELATE TO. I REALLY ENJOYED THIS BOOK, AND IT IS GREAT TOILET READING MATERIAL.
