1 shoddy customer service
I purchased this unit from b&h photo not here and had read raving reviews about it elsewhere. When it arrived however the instructions for formmating were unsuable. So I contacted customer service by email which had me input the info about my computer and operating system and they responded with the same directions that didnt work and for the wrong operating system. I went to the faq on their site and selected the windows option and formatting and under that they were giving instructions for windows and mac. How sloppy and unprofessional can you get? They say there is free tech support but there is no toll free number which means you have to pay for the call. Frankly I am beginning to think that making any calls is going to be a waste of money as their email and automated tech suppport cant even recogise the right operating system. This is a very high price for a company to charge when it doesn't even offer a toll free number.
