Linksys was rated highest (with 2 others) for customer satisfaction, noting that while technecal assistence was rated favorably, the technecal rep's interest would wain once he/she established that the Linksys component was not the malfuncting component. After calling several local electrical suppliers and on-line retailers, I realized that I could not make an Ethernet RJ45 cable as inexpensively as Linksys put out the 25ft UTP550 Cat5+ cable. Accordingly, I bought all Linksys components in the event that I needed to call customer service. I never did.
