Performs today; ready for tomorrow. This mouse plugs into the PS/2 port on any Windows system or the Universal Serial Bus (USB) port on Windows 98 and Macintosh 8.5 or later systems. The mouse offers comfortable control for left and right hands. Use the wheel to scroll without scrollbars in Windows 95, 98, NT 4.0 or Macintosh 8.5 systems.
1 The best simple mouse.
This is a great mouse for anyone: gamers, businesspeople, newbies to the computer world, and the everyday computer user. It has everything you need without being expensive or over the top. It boasts a comfortable grip, a wheel button, and a high quality trackball. The wheel is essential for fast scrolling and can be used as an extra button for gamers who have mastered mouse usage. The trackball is efficient, allowing smooth cursor movements that wont get you killed in those intense FPS (first person shooters) firefights. It is easy to clean and needs to be done only on an occasional basis. The price is extremely affordable especially for businesses or home offices. It has everything an infrequent computer user needs and is cheap enough to buy in bulk for companies. I have an average to large hand and it fits quite comfortably in my hand, this mouse is perfect for my business use, however I prefer an optical mouse for my gaming. This is by the far the best mouse in terms of bang for your buck, cheap, affordable, well made, comfortable, and high quality. Everything you need in a simple mouse. The only problem I see is the possibility of it being too small for a large handed person, although that problem I'm sure I encountered with most models, unfortunate, but true. You can't go wrong for this price, you really can't.
2 A gamers mouse
An excellent mouse with true control. Sturdy enough for lotsa game playing!
I learned a long time ago that the price of a mouse does not have anything to do with quality. This mouse outperforms the more expensive ones easilly.
3 Great Mouse for the price.
Considering the price, it simply is the best mouse you can buy in the US market. It might feel too narrow and small for the people with extra big hands, but for the others, it feels pretty comfortable while providing excelent control.
If you want absolutely the best mouse in the market regardless of the price, go for the MicroSoft mouses. Their design is superve for pretty much everyone with hands in various shapes and sizes. Too bad, MS discontinued their ball mouse. Ask to any professional gamers out there. With profer care, ball mouse provide better control for hardcore gamers.
4 Logitech Optical Wheel Mouse
This is a great product for frequent internet users. The Optical WheelMouse by Logitech works awesome on both MACs and PCs. The Optical freedom gives you control on any surface. The Wheel is great for scrolling all websites and eliminates the hastle of hinding the scroll bar on the screen. The Logitech Optical Wheel Mouse is also great for both righties and lefties! The software is no hastle and is up and running in minutes. I recommend this product to everyone
5 A great mouse at a good price.
A very comfortable mouse -- even for a Mouse Potoato like me.
6 Great Product
What a lot of people dont realize when it comes to using computers the most abused piece of equipment would be the mouse. Particularly "Internet" PC's and Gaming PC's. The entire computer experience is usually distroyed with a substandard mouse. It is critical that you find a good quality mouse. Afterall it is the primary input device for your pc.
Until a few years ago i thought the only decent makers of mice was microsoft for some strange reason. Although i am not a microsoft disciple, i was a die-hard microsoft mouse user. When my Microsoft Wheel mouse finally died after two glorious years i had every intention of getting another one. Before i could get one i decided to use the logitech first wheel mouse temporarily. That was about 9 months ago. I was absoulutely surprised by the reliability, and response of this mouse. I am now convinced that logitech is also a fine brand for mice, keyboards and even speakers.
You wont be disappointed with this mouse. Its defiantely not a highend mouse but this is how mice should be made at the very least.
Another aspect of the mouse that is often overlooked is the mousepad. A good quality mousepad also contributed greatly to the whole experience. I recommend the 3M mousepad. I promise you once you've tried it you wont want to use anything else. It also keeps your mice clean.
Good product, good value
7 The only low $ mouse to consider
Unless you are going for a shaker (ifeel-I am, after Maximum PC comments and my experience with Logitech mouses vs. others) or a wireless (unacceptable for hard core gamers), this is the only mouse to consider. It's price can't be beat, and for the low bucks you get superb quality and precision. This mouse is recognized with built in Windows drivers, so you usually don't even have to install Logitech's propreitary drivers with the "extra" features. You plug it in and it works. Or you can install the drivers and in my experience they will peacefully coexist side by side. I have used this to be able to have both a Kensington Orbit with it's drivers installed (in the PS2 socket), which my wife likes, and this mouse (in a USB socket) on the same PC. Use one or the other, just move the other out of the way. I have another one for use with my laptop (that also must do side by side duty with the touch pad) that suffers road travel. I have yet to even have to clean either one. High value with a low entry fee.
8 Quality--WOW
This mouse is great. Worked first time, and the software went in without a hitch. The price is right too.
9 Reliability and value
When I was issued a new computer at work, it came with a snazzy new Microsoft wheel mouse. I've never been a big fan of the Microsoft mice (I find they get jammed up too easily, and they aren't overly ergonomic). The wheel, however, had me instantly hooked.
Logitech has long been a dominant force in pointing devices. I've always found their products to be more reliable than the Microsoft counterparts -- it's not that either break down entirely, but Logitech's products require less frequent cleaning, giving you more accurate and efficient use. The accompanying software integrates into the desktop seamlessly, and you'll quickly find yourself unable to do without the wheel. The convenience is overwhelming!
10 Great Mouse
This is a great mouse. We have one already and are buying this one for our second computer. It is very easy to get used to and forms well to your hand. The scroll is very nice. We have had no problems with this brand. Highly recommended.
