This rocks, ive been looking for a good pair of computer headphones for about a month this is the first pair that works and looks good. A must have for hardcore gamers (like me!!)
2 Good Piece of Hardware
I'm very happy with this new pair of headsets. They look great.., they make me look more attractive when I'm gaming (I'm joking) But the materials used for the construction are excellent. Beleiveme that you will be wearing something good and confortable.
The sound is just great and you can adjust the microphone in any position as you can, because the material allows you to put in any shape you want.
3 Read Carefully
I bought this headset for what it was. When I got it-- and wore it-- it made my ears hurt the way it's worn.
I'm saying this: I'm not wearing it wrong and it makes my ears hurt. I'm disappointed with this product; they could have produced something a little more ergonomic.
4 Great Sound Quality In and Out
I was at first surprised to get this thing in less than 24 hours. I plugged it into my PC and used it right away. I was able to hear music from games and people's voices very clearly and the people I talked to said that my voice was coming in perfectly. I just find this works extremly well.
5 Not great for those with glasses
If you wear glasses, consider getting a different headset. Because this is a behind the head model, it rests on your ears -- similar to a pair of glasses. If you already wear glasses (like I do) you will most likely find it uncomfortable. The headset does have exceptional voice pickup and sound quality (for gaming) however. It is just a bit uncomfortable with glasses.
6 I highly recommend!
First of all, I was amazed at the speed of delivery! Second, I have owned many different headsets and I absolutely thought my previous set was the best I had ever purchased. There is a very distinctive increase in sound quality with this headset! Not to mention, they are so much lighter and comfortable then my previous set. I wish I had more info on the person that says they are having problems with others hearing them on the mic. NO problems here at all. As a matter of fact, with this headset, I had to uncheck my mic boost in the advanced sound options! As an avid gamer for 5 years now, for the moment, this headset simply can't be beat. Especially for this price!
7 Mic can't reach!
This is a really great set of headphones, except that I have a problem getting the microphone to register my voice. When I wear them properly, I have to talk very loudly for the microphone to pick up my voice, and I'm using full gain in the operating system. So, I'm now wearing these around my neck and then extending the microphone up in front of my mouth so people can hear me. I'm running everyone's voice through my regular computer speakers. This works, but clearly it isn't pretty and it isn't the intent of the product. So, I'm looking for something else.
8 Extreme PC Gaming Headset
I was at the Newegg 2k4 lanparty in Southern California .. they had dedicated systems with the Logitech Extreme for use during the Battlefield 1942 and Call of Duty competitions.. the noise cancelling, ratchet boom mic, sound quality and fit of the headset kicked azz! A lil to get used to on the wrap around but a great additon to any lan bag.
