1 Solid performance for a great price
I'm using this headset to connect to my bluetooth USB adapter on my PC (using the headset profile). It's working great and it's very cool to walk around the house as I'm holding a voice conversation on MSN Messenger. The new version of bluetooth (1.2) is a definite improvement from the previous 1.1 standard. The 1.2 standard allows for frequency hoping so you can use it along with your wireless internet connection with minimal frequency interference. Before this new headset, I could barely connect because of the direct interference. I'm very happy with the connection quality now and I rarely have connection issues. There are occasional disconnects that occur, but usually after long periods of time (30-45 minutes or so). I'm using the new USB bluetooth adapter from IOGEAR on my PC which is also 1.2 compliant. The sound quality is good and there's plenty of volume in case you're worried about hearing the person on the other end. People on the other side report that the sound quality they hear is very good. You can't beat the price.
2 It works.
This unit seems to work well with my Motorola570 phone (which is bluetooth 1.2). It actually sounds better than the phone's normal speaker. Volume goes as loud as I need it even at 70mph with the window down. The noise reduction microphone seems to work as I have had no complaints about voice quality either when out on my boat or when driving.
It generally maintains a connection up to about 20 feet from the phone. Call waiting works, as does voice dialing. There are no selective ring tones. It stays paired fairly reliably and catches up after dialing a single digit in the phone's keypad.
The only problem with this unit is that if your ears are on the small side it may not fit comfortably (my GF has small ears and will not use my headset). I can wear this unit for hours at a time while driving without discomfort, and it has stayed on my ear while driving my open boat at 40mph.
BTW, I am now buying my second unit as my dog did a taste test on my original one yesterday and it did not survive...
3 Excellent Bluetooth Headset
I have used this headset with Nokia 3650 and with a usb bluetooth adapter for skype. For both use, the sound quality is very good. Recepients of my phone calls do not notice any perceptible difference between a bluetooth conversations and ones without a bluetooth headset. Although this is the only headset I've used, I believe it is one of the better ones on the market. The only negative would be the initial setup might seems somewhat cumbersome to some people. Some may find pairing up the bluetooth device and connecting the bluetooth device confusing.
4 Defective!
I understand that mass produced items will occasionally have defects. But when you've waited in anticipation for a week it really annoys to have yours be that occasionally defective unit. In this instance the multi-use button was fubar right out of the package.
5 Doesn't Support Call Waiting or Last Number Redial
I read all the positive reviews and the priced seemed right.
But it is getting returned. Without Support for Call Waiting or Last number dialing( on a Sprint LG PM 325), what's the point of spending even $1.00 on this unit. I am not going to run upto 30 ft to answer my phone to get an incoming call waiting call.
You would think Bluetooth ORG would require better labeling to identify what features are supported. If Headset & Phone are both advertised as supporting Handsfree than all these features should be supported or at list the ones that are or aren't.
This is misleading & confusing to the consumer.
I am now going to have keep buying & trying different ones to find the needle in the hay stack that actually works as advertised.
It shouldn't be this hard.
6 For the price you pay, THIS IS THE BEST
I bought this headset after reading all the reviews and yes, it turned out to be a real good one. Before buying this I tried the Motorla HS820 and the Jabra BT250. I feel the clarity of voice is much better in Logitech compared to the others.
Yes, it is little bulkier than the Motorola and doesnt look very impressive, but if you need clarity and quality and not bothered about looks, THIS IS THE ONE.
7 decent device
This is my first bluetooth headset. I use it with my mobile phone (HP iPaq h6315), and sometimes I'm very pleased with it. I've had people tell me that they don't know I'm on hands-free, and I've had others tell me that they can tell (and that the reception isn't as good). Ideally, I'd like the headset to sound better than talking directly in the phone, but I don't know if that's possible.
The device has one button for turning it on and off. It has a volume toggle which is hard to use quickly (I have to hold my hand up there for a while pressing it once, wait, once more, wait--it takes a long time to get the volume up significantly, but I can appreciate it being not too fast.)
For me it seems small enough. The reason I got it was that I wanted to have a hands-free set (do you like holding your phone up to your ear?), I wanted to be able to pop it on and listen to music on occasion (yeah, i know, just one ear), and I wanted to have direct interaction with bluetooth (this is my first bluetooth device).
I think the sound quality was somewhat disappointing, but that's talking from a man that hasn't used any other bluetooth headsets.
8 GREAT BUY
Based on the excellent reviews I read online and the price advertised I said let me give it a try.
Great buy easy to use piers real quickly, CLEAR reception and fits real well.
The only drawback on a few occassions you get a dropped call, but other thatn that a good product from Logitech.
9 good value for the money
i had bought the motorola HS820 before this one for $80. i have a motorola V505 from at&t. the motorola worked pretty well, but i thought $80 for a bluetooth headset was way too much. i returned the motorola and picked up the logitech instead and for 1/2 the cost, i was just as happy.
it fits a little awkwardly on my ear, but so did the motorola, so i am thinking my ears are the problem. call clarity and voice recognition is good. battery life is good. weight on ear is good. overall, i am pretty impressed!
i wish there was some way to adjust the tightness of the earpiece as it feels kind of loose on my ear. would also be nice if the "on" button wasn't so small that you covered it up with your finger when you turned it on, making it hard to see the flashing blue light.
whenever i use my microwave, it makes the bluetooth connection drop. just warning ya'. ;)
10 Good quality, but too bulky.
I got one of these after some serious research and it did prove worth all the effort, except for the fact that the pictures shown never really gave me a fair idea of its size. Although it may not affect everyone, I certainly couldn't live with its size. It sort of sticks out from the ear and is not sleek from any angle. Had the boom been a tad slicker, I'd have give it 5 stars.
Bottom line: if you dont care about how it looks, its a great piece with very good sound quality. Although, I returned mine.
11 Very Satisfied / Best Value
PROS:
- Sound clarity and high volume if incoming sound
- Very light
- longer talk time then other competitors
- Multi-function button is handy
CONS
- Not the most comfortable fit
- Should come with a car charger
12 Good fit, clear sound...what else can you ask for
At first I was skeptical becuase of the Logitech brand. I associate it with mostly computer peripherals (mice, keyboards etc.). I figured, what would they know about building bluetooth headsets. Then I read some of the reviews and went ahead and bought it. Before this, I tried a several other bluetooth headsets that I either bought and returned, or my friends had. I have to say that this one fits the bill for me.
Here's the good:
1. The fit of this headset is very secure. It stays in place and doesn't hurt the ear. I have worn it for over two hours at a stretch. The earphone speaker feels very comfortable with a sponge jacket (and the headset comes with a couple of spares too). I have tried the motorola HS-820 headset and while that was a good headset overall, it always felt like it was going to fall off my ear. So I went and returned it.
2. The phone is very easy to setup and charges fairly quickly. I was able to pair it up with my phone without any problems. The battery life of this phone is excellent (with 10 days of standby time and 7 hours of talk time).
3. The voice quality of this phone is unbeatable. I have tried my friends Jabra 250 and my earlier Motorola...the sound quality on this one is superior to both. The other side is always able to hear me clearly and I am able hear them clearly too. There is no static, unless I go greater than 10 feet away from my phone. I guess the clarity is because of the "windstop" technology, but honestly, I don't care how they do it...it ends up sounding pretty good.
4. You can't beat the price. At $40 (or so), it is less expensive than most headsets with similar features, on the market.
Here's the bad (or "nice to haves"):
1. This is somewhat heavier than the other headsets I have tried, but like I said earlier, I have never had a problem keeping it on for long hours because of the secure and very comfortable fit.
2. It does not look as nice the motorolas, but hey I would rather have a headset that does not feel like it going fall off any moment.
3. I have setup different ringtones for different people in my contacts list. This headset does not support these ringtones. It always play the same ringtone, not matter what. This is again, a nice to have feature. You would pay substantially more on another phone with a feature like this.
All-in-all, this one of the best headsets I have found at a very reasonable price. I must say I am impressed with the overall line of Logitech products. They seem to produce some high-quality stuff.
13 Just the truth.
Hi,
I picked this headset because it had the highest rating from amazon's users. Plus I figured, logitech is good.
Well think again.
The headset is big and heavy.
Although the ear clip is very secure, it takes two hands to put on.
I dont like to wear my headset at all times, so if youre not like me, it wont bother you.
The wind\noise cancelling feature of the phone is nothing but a foam cover for a standard microphone.
The sound quality is very bad, constant crackling in the background.
I also have an logitech wireless headset, although it uses a different frequency and technology to connect, there is a distinct ping that I heard on the phone headset and still constantly hear on the xbox headset.
I have since returned the logitech headset and bought a us black motorola headset (hs850).
Very impressed with the new one.

14 I was sure I'd hate it
I bought this headset on impulse because of the good reviews that it got here. I was sure it would end up in the junk box with all the other "more trouble than it's worth" technology I've bought over the years. But this really is a good headset.
It is very comfortable. I usually hate anything that hangs on my ear for more than a few minutes. But this headset is so comfortable that I often won't even remove it after I hang up a call. I'll just keep wearing it.
It connects quickly and easily to my Nokia 6230, and the connection has never dropped. The sound quality is better than the phone itself, really! I hear people better, and they hear me better when I'm using this headset than when I'm not using it.
I expected so little from this headset, but it's so close to perfect. I'm stunned.
15 Good quality W/decent comfort
I own a Treo 650 and tried a Plantronics bluetooth headset which was a awful experience - bad comfort and bad sound quality. I bought the Logitech and have found it to have GREAT sound for both incoming and outgoing. It has ~20ft range and the wind resistance works well. If it was a little more comfortable after wearing for the long periods of time, I would have given it a rating of 5.
16 Logitech Freedom Headset tops my list
I have had my Logitech headset now for over a month and I must say I am very impressed. I would highly reccomed the headset to anyone wanting to use their bluetooth technology, but not wanting to spend a lot of money to do so. For about 50 dollars, incl. shipping, I have a headset that is incredibly loud, I can use in my car with the windows open, and does not require charging every night. A few minor complaints, however: 1) the headset has it's own ring tone (only one) so any call I get sounds the same, the personal ring tones do not roll over into the headset. 2) every once and awhile the phone drops the headset and I have to go back and locate the headset (this is not a huge issue and does not occur often, but it has happened a few times) 3) it is comfortable to wear for 15-20 minutes, but hardly comfortable to wear for extended periods without switching ears (another minor issue).
I would definately recommend this headset for any college student on a budget, as I am. I love the fact that I can walk around my apt. with the phone in my room and still talk to people who have NO idea that I am on a handsfree device. Logitech did a great job with this headset!
17 It gets no better than this!
I just got my "Logitech Mobile Freedom Bluetooth Headset" in the mail a few days ago and I must say that I am very impressed. It fits well and can be very loud. I drive with my windows down on and still don't have it turned all the way up. I am using a LG PM-325 cell phone and everything I have tried so far works. Synced up easily, answers calls, ends calls, and can use the phones voice dial. With the PM-325 if you answer the phone normally you can still easily switch to the headset. I haven't tried it with my computer yet but I have heard it works well.
18 Great headset, I highly recommend.
I have had this headset for two months and it is great. I can hear the person I am speaking to clearly and that person can hear me clearly. I am using it with a Sony Ericsson T637, using the headset with the phone's voice control is great; I rarely have to touch the phone.
The headset is very comfortable and even fits over my ear when I wear my glasses. I give it five stars. The only time I have gotten a complaint from someone I was talking to was because I had the headset volume too high, the other person said that they echoed. I think this is due to the speaker being only a couple of inches away from the microphone. I simple turned the volume down by one click and it was fine.
19 Great sound, reasonably comfortable
Got this headset to replace my Jabra (which was incompatable with my Nokia 3650). Fit and comfort is extremely subjective but I found the Jabra to be far more comfortable (I would actually forget I was wearing it); that said, this unit is not uncomfortable (until after a couple hours) just not nearly AS comfortable or securely fitting.
Very few complaints as far as performance. It was easy to pair with my phone, my wife's Motorola V3 and even my laptop. Sound quality is clear for both parties (recipients occasionally complained of a pinging noise with the Jabra) and the noise reduction actually works to eliminate wind noise. Battery life is excellent. The single function can be a little aggrevating (especially when trying to turn it off as you have to hold it down for a long time). The only weird and very rare quirk is occassionally calls will be interrupted with a strange sound that sounds like someone dropping a manhole cover as it spins on pavement - very strange, very annoying and fortunately very rare.
Overall, performance is top notch, comfort is acceptable and value is difficult to beat.
20 Works Great, easy to use.
I've had this headset for 2 weeks now and am 100% satisfied. First, its sturdy. I was afraid this might be a fragile item but that is not the case. Second, its easy to use, it sync'd with my Motorola V551 immediately, no problems there. Third, and very importantly, is that the sound quality is great. When I tell people I'm on a headset they are surprised, they think I'm just on my cell phone. Finally, I was able to use the voice dialing feature of my phone through the headset, worked fine. If I had to say something bad I would say that I have to fiddle around to get it on my ear the way I like it, but even that is not so bad. While I would not want to wear it all day long, I could easily wear it for a couple of hours, I forget about it after awhile, really. I feel I really got a good value for the money.
21 Quiet, slightly uncomforatable...
I purchased this ear piece mostly for it's long life battery. I'm coming from using a Jabra.
First impressions: It's quiet. I've got the phone volume all the way up and the ear piece all the way up. Now I can hear it ok, but if the surrounding volume gets louder, I'm in trouble. I could year with the Jabra much better.
Also, for my ear, it almost doesn't fit. Maybe I've just got smaller ears. This makes it slightly uncomfortable....
22 Great Headset
I have been using this headset for the last one week and I have the following observations:
Pros:
- The speaker does not go inside the ear, but sits on top. This makes it a lot more comfortable than the devices that goes inside the ear. Hence can be worn for a long time
- Setup is easy
- Chargable - hence no need to worry about battery.
-Voice quality
Cons:
- Range
23 Great Mic and speaker quality
I was a bit skeptical when I saw the price and read some reviews but I thought hey its Logitech it must be good. I was right this headset is very comfortable compared to another headset I just bought. The ear speaker is loud even to the point that I don't have to have it on the highest setting. The mic was the thing I was worried about though, so I called my friend's cell phone and talked to myself and I was pleasantly surprised with the sound volume and clarity. Also I haven't had any complaints from other friends I've talked to with the headset. It has been my experience that Logitech makes the best wireless devices for the buck and they didn't let me down with this one (second Logitech wireless devices in two month; I also bought their xbox controller which is definitely also worth the buy.)
24 It works well.... but.....
Some stupid little things that could have been so easy to implement.
1) The "multi-function" button is what you use to control every aspect of the headset with the exception of the volume - there is a rocker button for the volume. The problem is the multi-function button is also the status light (its kind of built into the button - which has a clear top and can blink in multiple colors) which tells you what is happening with the unit at any given time. For instance - if the unit is off and you want to turn it on, you push down on the multi-function button for four seconds - or until the status light blinks 4 times --- BUT YOU CAN'T SEE THE STATUS LIGHT BECAUSE YOU FINGER IS HOLDING IT DOWN!!! - STUPID! The same thing happens when you turn it off. The same thing happens when you want to change any function - you hold the button down and you get a flashing light in multiple colors - but you can't see it. You're only alternitive is to use your nail to press down on half of the little button exposing a small portion of the status light.
2) They should have put a power switch on this thing. I don't know - if you are a heavy user and leave it on all the time this is a non-issue. But for me, I turn in on when I get in the car and off when I get out - to perserve battery life. And to sit there and hold the button until this thing flashes at you is a bummer - yeah, I know its only 4 seconds - but if its off and my phone starts ringing - I have to grab for the headset - hold down the multi-function button for 4 seconds, then put in on my ear and talk - and almost 10 seconds and four rings have gone by - almost to the point where voicemail is ready to pick up. Just a little power switch ON or OFF would have been nice.
3) Regular AAA batteries would have been nice. Because now you have to bring this into the house to charge it all the time - or if you are traveling you have to bring the charger with you. No such thing as carrying a spare battery when you make it built in like this.
OTHER THAN THAT.... its works well - the audio quality is good - its nice and loud - my phone found it and accepted it as its own right from the start - and I'm not returning it.
25 better than others. could still use some work but worth it.
The GOOD: good wind resistance. I drove with it on (45mph) while having my windows all open and sunroof open and the people on the other line didn't have any complaints so it does offer a decent degree of wind resistance. I think thats nice since if you are walking outdoors sometimes the wind can pick up and screw your conversations. Wind offers probs to most headsets and nearly any other cell phone. I'm not sure if the wind resistance is as good as other products such as the scala 500, however it does offer some features that the aforementioned product does not offer. In my mind the most impressive feature it has is the ability to switch frequencies when interference from other devices occures. (other devices such as cordless phones and wifi routers. I also have the bluetrek G2 and this device gets so much interference that often it sounds like I'm standing in the middle of an electrical storm. If you live in an apartment or house and dont have wireless phones or routers you can probably get any bluetooth headset out there. If you do have wireless equiptment as most technophiles on this site do you could very well get a lot of interference with your bluetooth headset. Again it can depend on the headset and the devices you use. some combos are worse than others. the only way to not do the guess work is to get one like this that automatically switches frequencies to get you the clearest channel. Thats why I like this headset. I have been using it heavily for the past 3-4 days and have had NO STATIC. I cant say the same about my bluetrek. It has a lot of static at times.
The BAD: This headset is bigger than many out there and the fitting is not as comfortable as my bluetrek. I really wish that there was a hybrid of the two. the Bluetrek G2 has to be one of the most comfortable headsets out there. Its so light and comfortable that I often wear it for 4-5 hours because I forget its on. The logitech freedom fits on your ear like some of those sony headphones that attach with a hook that fits around the ear. It doesn't feel as secure as the bluetrek and sometimes the foam feels like its not as comfortable for long wear. I dont think I could wear this for more than two hours at a time which is still a good amount of time, however I certainly wont FORGET that its on my ear like the Bluetrek. Its also a lot heavier in my opinion. I wish there was a hybrid of the two but there isn't. I think the closest is the scala 500 (from what I've read) however in my opinion this one falls short due to the fact that it cant change frequencies to avoid interference. Being able to change frequencies is important to me as I have a house with 5-6 different 2.4 mhz phones which can offer a substantial amount of interference. Also other things like your microwave oven will give interference. throw in some popcorn and try talking by your microwave and you'll see what I mean.
All in all this is a good product and I have no reservations about my purchase. Hopefully in a year or so other companies will be able to see the usefulness of frequency switching and wind resistance and offer some good competition so we get the same features in more comfortable products. Until then this meets my needs nicely.
26 Read this, buy this
Let me say a few things:
Buy THIS device. Here are the reasons:
- 7-8 Hours talk time
- True 30 feet range
- Wind filter for clear talking
- Small and comfortable, doesn't intrude your ear
- Crazy price, huge quality
- Warranty and reliability of Logitech!
I've used a Sony Ericsson and Jabra BT200 and I would say the Jabra is much better than Sony Ericsson, but the Logitech blows them both away. It's faster to put on the Logitech and the range is much better. The microphone is clear and crisp and the speaker volume is loud and sufficient.
For me, I used a Jabra A210 bluetooth adapter for a Sprint Sanyo 8100 phone w/2.5mm headset jack. It gave me BT on my phone so I could use this headset. The auto-answer and hang up depends on your phone whether it would normally do so with a headset or not. Works great for me!
If you are considering a headset, get this one. It's what bluetooth technology should be like. It's so great that Amazon sold out... nice. It was $39.99 (where did they all go???)
27 Logitech Mobile Freedom bluetooth headset
5 Stars for overall Quality, Price and Ease of Use.
If you are looking for a relatively simple robust bluetooth ear set the Logitech Mobile Freedom may be for you.
For reference I have used this product in conjuction with the Sprint LG PM325 Bluetooth cell phone.
PROS:
The instructions are simple and clear.
Good quality build with thick robust casing. The ear piece is confortable and flexible and the Mobile Freedom is designed as an in-line unit so it can be used on either ear with the function buttons remaining in the same perspective. The buttons are large and easy to find without major distraction.
The ear piece is sturdy and secured with a screw that is spring loaded so the device and the ear-pad is held secure to your ear.
LED's (red and blue blinking) in combination with tones let you know when the unit is paired, calls are answered/ended,charging and on standby.
Sound quality is extremely good. I use my unit in a noisy vehicle and don't have a problem with sound quality. When I ask those I am talking to if the sound of my voice is clear they respond in the positive. I consider the volume range of this earset to be good as the set can be raised to a point above which the volume is comfortable.
This unit works nicely with the voice dialing capability of the LG PM325 phone.
Battery life is very good, better than many more expensive units on the market.
Relatively good customer support with informative webpage.
The Logitech earset is Bluetooth V1.2 Compliant.
The Price is highly competitve. I purchased my unit from Amazon.com for $39.99 and recieved a $30 special offer reduction if I signed up for an Amazon.com Chase Visa card and used that card for the purchase. The Earset totalled $9.99.
CONS:
This unit is somewhat bulky. The mic and stem component are cigar shaped lending to its bulkiness. The unit however, is not heavy and is hardly noticeable on the ear.
The unit's design is not as stylistic as others on the market.
As noted earlier, the features are more limited than other higher priced units on the market. There is no automated call answering as on some of the latest earsets. I have not determined if there is a call waiting or 3-way function at this time.
Upon receiving an incoming call, a tonal melody plays and unlike a few other more expensive units you can not select the ringer type you want.
As with many earsets there are multiple tone and flash frequencies that one has to consider in order to decipher the unit's functional.
SUMMARY:
The Logitech Mobile Freedom offers very good sound and build quality with moderate functions and asthetic design at a very good price. If your like me and want an earset that is relatively simple and of good quality, this unit might be for you. I am rather impressed with the quality of the sound offered by the paring of the LG PM325 and the Logitech Mobile Freedom. Again, if you want a quality earset that has reasonably sized buttons and has one touch voice calling, volume control, answering/ending calls and muting this earset may be a good choice.
The unit comes with a 1 year limited, non-transferrable warranty
Hope this review helped.
28 The BEST in terms of functionality!!!
I only have experience of reading reviews of other Bluetooth headsets and use this headset with my Nokia 6620. From reading those reviews of other headsets and using this one, I can say, that this seems to be way better in functionality than those other more expensive ones. I am able to leave my phone up to or close to 30 feet (just a guess, I didn't measure!), in any direction! It works from room to room as well, so I can leave my phone in the 2nd floor bedroom, while roaming around the house corner to corner carrying on with crystal clear conversation! People unaquianted with bluetooth technology termed it "magic" (I swear!) and almost went as far as calling me a witch! :)
The multifunction button works great and as explained. Battery once charged lasts me 2/3 days, I am a guy ;) and it's hard for me to forget that there's a world out there when I'm on the phone, no matter how convenient it is to carry out the conversation is due to this headset.
Having explained all the pros, I must mention one quirk of this headset not related to its bluetooth functionality which is really the earloop. It does fit comfortably in either ear as explained however, if you plan to keep it attached to your ear for more than 15 minutes, expect to get severe pain although very temporarily. The earloop is made out of hard rubber and well it really hurts. I felt it the worst the first day I used it, after a while now my ear's probably used to the pain. I mention this for those out there who cries from the simplest amount of pain, because for me I can take it, or I will force myself to take it for something that is working so well. Also, due to my dark skin it's hard to see, maybe if you're light skinned then your ear will be all red or something who knows :D. But there is an obvious solution to this problem that you can create yourself, just attach a soft piece of black foam around the earloop thing and it won't be as painful. I wonder if a solution like this could not have been provided by Logitech.
So, in summary, I think this is the best wireless headset out there, and is the cheapest priced and least hyped one. If you want a wireless headset for your phone, I suggest you get this one for $40.00 instead of spending $60+ on a less functional one. Just make sure you put something more comfortable around the earloop if you can't take the pain. ;)
PS: Another thing I want to mention, is that, no technology is perfect. This headset did several times get disconnected from my phone at a very close range, but this could be the phone, the headset, various sort of interference and whatnot. Don't just blame it all on the headset if you come across this and think uhuh this headset sux. Give it time and get used to its pros as well as its quirks!
29 Yes, it does XP, Not Recommend for Axim X50V
I bought the Logitech Mobile Freedom Headset (980228-0403) for use with VoIP on my HP zt3000 Windows XP SP2 notebook. I wanted to use a wireless headset and VoIP to make international calls, mostly from hotel rooms. This headset did not work out of the box for my situation. The Logitech support website was great. It said to upgrade the notebook's bluetooth software. The HP site was also excellent. I downloaded bluetooth and many other newer drivers. Once installed, the headset immediately worked as docuemented. The other newer drivers solved all the weird hibernation problems I've been experiencing too. I'm using Skype for VoIP service. Skype setup has an option for using the bluetooth headset for Skype only, otherwise the normal audio devices are used. All in all, installation was a bit of upgrade work but competently supported. I now have a VoIP connected wireless headset that allows me mobile freedom. Due to my usage, I have no comment on the audio quality or useability with mobile phones. The device apparently will not work with the majority of PocketPCs due to a lack of bluetooth software. Thus I only gave it 4 stars. However, HP does sell stereo headphones (no microphone) for most IPaq models.
Update: 15-March-2005 Am able to pair with Axim x50v PocketPc. Has considerable static. Skype and other apps nearly unusable. Continues to work with XP well. Suggest Plantronics MX100I Stereo Headset for using Skype on a PPC.
