Logitech Z-340 3-Piece Speaker System ( 970058-0403 )

Compras Nikon
Bluetooth
The entry-level system in Logitech's renowned Z-Series computer speakers, the 2.1-channel Z-340, is a 3-piece system pumping 33 watts total power, RMS: 6.5 watts x 2 and 20 watts for the subwoofer. The Z-340 uses Logitech's dual-chamber, pressure-driver subwoofer, designed to deliver twice the bass energy of similar systems.

The twin satellite speakers stand on desk or mount on the wall. One of the satellites provides a headphone jack with dedicated volume control, perfect for private listening. The powered subwoofer rounds out the bottom end to a deep 35 Hz, a good octave below the range of most bookshelf speakers, delivering floor-shaking bass from your music or movies.

Logitech's use of an internal power supply obviates the bulky wall adapters found on many speaker systems.

What's in the Box
Two satellite speakers, a subwoofer, hookup cables, and a user's manual.

1 Versatile and Pretty damn good
I have had these speakers for 9 months. I bought them after extensively reading reviews. The Logitech Z-340 are the best choice in their price range. They are not high-end speakers but provide a surprisingly clear crisp sound across different ranges; a true all around speaker set. You will enjoy the subwoofer for gaming or movie watching.

What I like:
- Low price
- Easy to install
- Great sound even at higher volumes
- Solid construction
- No hissing or cracking noise when powered (cheap PC speakers are usually noisy)
- Small foot print for the 2 small speakers
- Subwoofer for an extra bass sound from time to time
- Bass adjustment button on the subwoofer
- The blue LED light is cool in the dark

Downsides:
- The blue LED light can be excessively bright. Depending on the angle you are looking from, it can blind your eye. Make sure you move it away from your side vision when using your computer.
- The bass adjustment button is on the back of the subwoofer, therefore less accessible

2 nice
these speakers are awesome... i've had them a long long time, always work perfectly. But i was becoming unsattisfied with the bass sound and volume and just about an hour ago i read the review on here by cb somethin or a nother and i put my woofer in the corner and all a sudden BOOOOOOOOOM it makes a world of difference everyone DO IT
3 Awful
This product WAS USELESS WITHIN 6 MONTHS. SAVE YOUR MONEY. LOGITECH HAS TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT AND NO FAITH IN ITS PRODUCTS. I WON'T MAKE THIS MISTAKE AGAIN.

CHEAP COMPANY WON'T EVEN GIVE YOU A 1800 NUMBER FOR SUPPORT. YOU GOTTA CALL LONG DISTANCE!!!

4 Excellent speakers
For this price you're not going to get a better pair of speakers. These speakers have tight bass with no distortion. Obviously you are not getting audiophile quality sound but for this price who cares.
5 Spectacular!
These speakers are an AWESOME value. They sound awesome, especially with a well coded, bass heavy mp3. I can't recommend these enough for the price.
6 Great Speakers for the Money!
I just hooked these speakers up to my PC and I'm extremely surprised at how well these speakers perform given their price. They have surprisingly crisp high end detail for using full range drivers and the subwoofer is very capable for use with games and MP3s. Also, the speakers look great, are easy to hook up, and like others, I think the cobalt blue LED is cool.

Obviously these speakers don't compare to a high-quality subwoofer paired to floorstanding speakers using a seperate woofer/tweeter layout. But for under $$$, these speakers perform very well.

I noticed that the subwoofer is crossed over at a high frequency, which means a lot of the music and voices come from the subwoofer instead of the L/R speakers. This is done because the small L/R speakers can only go so low. This causes you to "notice" the subwoofer too much (a good subwoofer is blended so well that you don't even know it's there). To help reduce this effect, I moved the subwoofer under my desk into the corner, obstructed by my computer.

I also noticed that at my first placement of the subwoofer, the bass sounded kind of crumby. When I moved the subwoofer into the corner, it sounded one-hundred times better. By placing the subwoofer in a corner, you gain 6dB of SPL (every surface you put a subwoofer by gains 3dB or doubles the volume). Moving it into the corner also made the perceived bass sound deeper.

Overall, I'm very pleasently surprised and happy with these speakers and would highly recommend them.

7 Great Speakes.
I recently bought the Logitec Z-340 3 peice speaker set for the computer. These speakers have awesome bass response with the subwoofer level on the back which is kind of inconvient when it comes to the subwoofer but you can adjust the volume of the subwoofer.I think Logitec could have made the speakes on this a little bit more powerful the high notes are a little distored when you have it on high volumes and sometime even lower volumes. But overall this system is a good system for the regular home consumer.
8 excellent quality, cheap price
these speakers are awesome! get them if you like a lot of bass. i use them with itunes on my imac dv+ without any difficulty. only problem i had was when i was setting up - the instructions told me to plug in the speakers in the speaker outlet on the side of the computer, but this didn't work. a call to logitech customer service directed me to plug them into one of the headphone jacks on the front of the computer. overall, very happy with my purchase. no need to spend any more money.
9 Excellent Sound, Great Performance, Don't Spend Big Bucks!
These speakers sound AWESOME. I crank them up loud and play them on my PowerMac using iTunes w/o distortion or any adverse effect. With an adjustment to the bass setting on the sub to your taste your all set! Also, I find that using an equalizer in an MP3 player as a preamp to boost volume levels works very well with these speakers.

I had a pair of Monsoon speakers before and they had lots of crackling and interference so I threw them out. They always had a 'humm' and poped when I turned on my computer etc. I paid [a lot] for them and they were JUNK. I spent considerably less on the Logitech system and am absolutely thrilled with them!

I have been very satisfied with the Logitech speakers. They give good frequency respose throughout the entire range and have a good natural sound. They would be a complement to any system: PC or Mac. I have listened to many speakers at the store and liked the neutral, balanced sound that the Logitech system offered the best. It is a good clean sound. I also play lots of games and fly flight sims and they perform very well for those tasks as well. They are an all around great speaker system.

When I set out to buy a new set of speakers for my system I was adamant about spending [a certain amount] on a set of computer speakers. Good news! You don't have to--and you can get great sound at the same time. You won't find any better speakers for the price. Guaranteed.

10 great sound for the money
Good sound system, lots of bass. Better than many systems that cost twice as much.
11 good while they lasted...
I thought these speakers were a good price for their sound quality when I purchased them, and they were just as good at home for gaming, music, etc. The only problem came into play when they just completely stopped working after about 6 months. Since I didn't use them all that rigorously or often, it seems that I got what I paid for.
12 great bang for the buck.
I'll keep it simple. Sturdy contruction, simple connections. NO big transformer plug to take up 2 spots on your power strip, and excellent sound quality. The subwoofer, an 8" sealed unit, is surprisngly strong and tight sounding. The crossover network is dead on with no vocal bleed-through going through the sub but still allowing excellent range. They get pretty loud too without distortion. Cant think of a better deal for the price.
13 Good Deal
These were a great choice considering I really don't give much thought to these things. My husband was shocked at the quality of sound coming out of something I spent so little on. These were a really great deal.
