Microsoft M03-00035 Wireless Intellimouse Explorer with Tilt Wheel Black Leather

Compras Nikon
Bluetooth
The advanced ergonomic design of the Wireless IntelliMouse Explorer gives you easy comfort and the very latest look for your desktop. The Tilt Wheel lets you navigate quickly through documents, and optical technology gives you the most accurate tracking available.
1 Good and Solid
I bought this to replace an aging Intellimouse Optical and to see what the fuss is all about on the tilt wheel. Overall, it is a good solid mouse. It is lighter than the Intellimouse Explorer Wireless version 1, so the weight isn't a bother at all. Additionally, this mouse can run on only one AA battery, which saves even more weight. The leather top doesn't really feel like leather, but it looks classy against a rosewood desk.

The tilt wheel feels very natural in Excel and Visual Studio. It even works in FireFox. The wheel scrolls smoothly, which will feel natural too after a few minutes of using this mouse.

Be sure to download the latest Intellimouse 5.2 software from Microsoft to take full advantage of the mouse' features.

Recommended.
2 Microsoft Intellimouse
Works flawlessly, no problems at all

The scrolling is excellent....none of that click stuff like the older mouses.

The leather is not that "leathery", but is comfortable.

I have 3 minor complaints however.
1. The left click is a little stubborn at times, u have to somtimes change the angle you are clicking at
2. The scroll wheel button takes some effort to push down...
3. The forward and back buttons are a little high up for my hands, but other for most other people it will be alright

I have no problems with mozzila Firefox, the back and forward work great for it.

Overall i would reccomend this mouse to everyone.

Top quality software and all
3 A Bentley among mere mice...
This is without a doubt the smoothest functioning mouse I have ever owned and I have had more mice than Mickey mouse. This mouse feels soft and comfortable and cradles the hand like a luxury car cradles you when sit in it. Everyone I have allowed to try it out has been impressed to say the least. As for those reviewers who claim this mouse made their hand ache, or wrist hurt... perhaps you should hold the mouse properly, you must have stood on your head to get this effect. I like this mouse so much I am getting another just like it for gaming on my laptop!
4 Almost the worst mouse I've ever owned
This mouse lags and is sloooow. Even with it set at top speed, it's so sluggish I couldn't stand to use it. The only slower mouse I've encountered was an old IBM one that had no acceleration at all. Microsoft just doesn't get it. After four of their mice plus four keyboards, and a wireless network system, I have finally decided never to trust in or buy Microsoft hardware again. (The quality of their software should have clued me in.) What did I do with this mouse? Smashed it to smithereens. It was almost satisfying.
5 awesome mouse
It is the best mouse i've ever used. Especially the wheel, very smooth. My roommate has a logitech wireless mouse, whose wheel is less smooth as fast than this one. I always thought logitech is the best brand for mouse and keyborad. Now I will never consider logitech. Microsoft is much better than Logitech.
6 It hurt my wrist...
I'll have to return the mouse! I bought it because it has the "ergonomic" design. But I only used it for 2 hours before my wrist start hurting. I think the bottons are positioned too high. Also, the two side bottons are too far for my thumb to reach. I believe the mouse is designed for men with big hands. Not a good choice for women.
7 Disappointed
I bought this mouse because of its physical look (very attractive) and the advertised 3x longer battery life. In the end, I decided not to keep it. The shape and size of the mouse make it so uncomfortable to hold; my wrist and my hand hurt so much after a day of use. I thought that it needs a little time to get used to, but after a few days, I simply gave up. Therefore, before deciding on this mouse, make sure you try it first as it may not be for everyone.

UPDATE: I have tried some other mice like the Logitech Cordless Click! Plus and the MX700. I didn't like the way they fit in my hand either because of the rather weird shapes. In the end, I am settled with the Logitech 2x wireless mouse. It does not have two extra buttons like the others but is so comfortable to the hand. I just love the mouse. Sometimes, less means more (the mouse is only $29.95 MSRP)...

8 Great wireless mouse
I was hesitant in buying another Wireless Mouse. Because my old Wireless Optical Blue Mouse one was constantly losing the conection to the reciver. But I spotted this one on sale and decided to give it a try. I must say it is much better than my old Blue one. It fits better in my hand and wheel movement is much smoother and quiet. Love the side to side motion but don't see to many time I need to. Can't give it 5 stars because I don't know this is the best. The optical is much more accurate than the old ball mouse. Never mind no skipping. Hope the battery life is as good as they claim.
9 The best mouse I've ever owned/used
Great job Microsoft! This mouse is extremely easy to set up and use. Just install the software make a couple of connections and in a few minutes you're up and running like never before. Performance-wise you just can't beat it. It's extremely precise and the shape feels so good in my hand. Buttons are simple to program. If you're in the market for a wireless keyboard, as well, I highly recomend the Microsoft Wireless Optical Desktop Elite Keyboard and Mouse, which is the same mouse included with an awesome keyboard. I have the set. My partner kept wanting to borrow my Microsoft Wireless Intellimouse Explorer with Tilt Wheel, so I'm here buying one for him for his birthday today. Buy it. You won't be sorry!
10 Rating the Microsoft M03-00035--Wireless Intellimouse
Is a top quality product--excellent design and exceptionally well made. Everything worked as advertised, the first time, right out of the box. The action is smooth and very quiet. If you can read, you can set this thing a racing!
11 Best mouse on the market
I do not know what the others are talking about. It was easy set up, can program all 5 buttons. Works flawless. Was able to pick up 2 of these on Amazon for half off, wow.
12 I Finally Gave Up
At first: 1) I couldn't get the tilt wheel to work and 2) couldn't control my movements between web pages despite how I adjusted the sensitivity. After a couple of days, I started having to re-boot the computer 4-5 times before the mouse would connect. Finally uninstalled the software and went back to my faithful old Logitech. Still had problems with the computer locking on initial start-up each day until I executed a "System Restore" from immediately prior to changing over the the Intellimouse. Now I'm back to my old system configuation and everything is working just fine again.
13 NOT WORTH THE PRICE & VALUE, NOT PRECISE
Not very precise and not comfortable to the hands. I would highly recommend the Logitech MX700 mouse which is rated 5 stars. DO NOT BUY THIS MOUSE OR ANY MOUSE SIMILAR TO THIS ONE.
14 STAY AWAY, THE MOUSE HAVE LOTS OF PROBLEMS
STAY AWAY, BAD SCROLL, NOT PRESCISE, DO NOT BUY.
15 Won't connect, Flimsy tilt, Short battery life, CHEAP leathe
Don't get this product! I returned one already.

1. Won't connect
Mouse didn't work out box. Had to return to get another one. What a hassle. I wonder how long this mouse will last.

2. Flimsy tilt
What a lousy and flimsy design... How often does one use side scroll anyway? In any case, to use it takes large amount of finger extension and force. Lousy gimmick at best. And I miss the scroll with "click" as smooth scroll doesn't feel "right".

3. 6 month battery life?

Now that's a LIE! The damn Intellipoint software keeps on reminding me after 2 months that I need to change the battery and I used it only at home. I wish I got the Logi with built-in charger.

4. Leather mouse?
No it doesn't feel or smell like it so why LIE? It's vinyl material. I paid huge premium for it and it looks really cheesy with wide gaps on bottom like cheap leather purse (at least you don't see this kind of cheap contruction on cheap leather products).

Finally, I wish I bought the Logi with 600 dpi and recharger instead. I tried one and regret this terrible unreliable piece of trash.

16 Bought it for my laptop
I bought it for my new laptop and it works great. I really enjoy using the tilt-wheel. They've done a great job on this mouse. It feels nice in your hands and has a good battery life. I use it for my laptop so the wireless base is a bit on the big side but at least it's light. I would have gotten the bluetooth version had they included the tilt-wheel feature.
17 Great so far!
This mouse is pretty nice, It was wacky at first until i got a nice connection. Since then its been good. I hope the battery life holds up. Its nice that it ships with batteries too. I'm not a fan of wireless keyboards and mice, but i decided to give it a go. I wont buy a wireless keyboard though. Give it a shot, I think you'll like it.
