1 tracfone...
I like my Tracfone so far. Mine is small and has good reception. It's also nice that they let the unused minutes carry over month to month without ever taking them away.
2 tracfone.
I like my Tracfone so far. The tracfones are good for people who don't require heavy cell phone usage. Basically you have to keep the phone active by buying month or year cards. If you run out of minutes then you have to buy more of those too. [...]
3 Great Deal
We did without cellphones for 6mo...was tired of the costly monthly charge and being stuck in a contract. We bought this phone over $30.00 cheaper so shop around.
So far pleased with the phone...still need to check out all the features it has.
Free minutes with the refer a friend...It works!!!
My husband is wanting one for himself now!!!
4 Terrible service
Mostly the good reviews come from kids. Well, maybe that is because kids don't call customer service or use features like voicemail or caller ID. Well, I am a 35 year old contractor and I can tell you that this is by far the WORST phone service that I can imagine. This is a Latin American company and if you speak English (not Spanish) good luck with customer service. I have talked to at least 5 of their reps and I could only understand one of them completely. They also have the worst connectivity when call customer service. Furthermore, I owned the phone an entire month and I never was able to get voicemail or caller ID. They just couldn't get it done. I logged e-mail complaint and called them several times. Each time they said it was resolved. Yeah, well, I never got voicemail or caller ID. I am with T-mobile now and the phone worked the day I received it. Even voice mail and caller ID.
5 Poor Customer Service
We've had a Tracfone for the past 2 years and, as with many other reviewers, purchased it because of the easy, pay as you go system. We had a pretty good opinion of the phone until we had to move across country, at which point we realized that this company has no useful customer service to speak of. We have spent the past several months attempting to get our phone number changed to our local calling area. After weeks of being stone walled by customer service, we were finally told that we had to mail our phone to India so that they could "fix it". We refused, so they backpedaled and had us mail it to a warehouse in Miami, FL where it could be "reprogrammed to work with the local calling area". This was over a month ago. We sent the phone certified mail, so we know that they've received it, but no one seems to be able to locate our customer file or give us any idea of when we might expect to get our phone back - instead, they keep trying to sell us a new phone! We have been on the phone with customer service at least once a day for the past 3 weeks with no luck. We are now considering giving the phone up as a lost cause, despite having 150+ minutes on it, and taking our business elsewhere. Our conclusion: a Tracfone is only a good deal until you run into problems...
6 good phone, "writen by a teen"
i think this is a very good phone, tracfone is a great service everywhere i go i have full reception, alot of services dont work here because we are so close to the mexican border and many companies dont have service here but tracfone seems to have service everywhere, this phone doesnt have a camera and music ringtones and all that junk but if your looking for a phone that works good for calling people and is easy to carry then u want this one, i would rate it a 5 but the problem i have is that it said it has a web browser but it doesnt, i have look all thoughout the phone and the manuel but there is no browser sadly, other than that the phone is a good deal
7 Great Phone, but i wish it had a color screen!
This phone is a greta phone and works very well. It has a lot of great features and is sleek and small. I have had three Tracfones so far and i like this one the best. I love it so much. If u want a Tracfone this is the one to buy. I hope a phone with a color screen is created soon cause i really want one!
