Olympus Leather Camera Case for C-Series Cameras

Compras Nikon
Bluetooth
With cameras as attractive as the C-Series, you'll need a case that is just as stylish. But, looks are not everything...this genuine leather carrying case features two exterior pockets for four AA batteries, additional SmartMedia cards, and remote control. The case holds the camera in a vertical orientation and is designed to utilize the strap of the camera. A belt loop is also provided on the back.
1 Nice- but no strap
Every nice word said about this case is true. My only complaint is that it has no strap. If you are willing to start wearing a belt then this case is perfect for your C series camera. That is my only complaint.

2 On-line Specifications Not Accurate (no 7X compatability)
The product is not combatible with the C7X (C720) cameras although it is advertised as such. The product spec. delivered with the packaging is accurate, only C2X - C5X. It does not fully close (open on sides) with no camera, the picture is misleading. I will be returning this product.
3 Waste of money
This case sucks, pure and simple. The camera barely fits in there, the top doesn't stay shut worth a hoot, and there's no room for extra batteries, or much else of anything. The sides and tops are v/ thinly padded, and let's just say the word "synthetic" needs to be inserted in front of leather. The material is of low quality and thin. There is no carry strap, so you must have the strap on your camera, so when you want to take pictures you have to take the camera out of the bag and unhook the catch loop of the bag from the camera strap. If you forget to reattach the loop, and put the camera back in the bag and sling it on your shoulder, prepare on losing the case, because as I said before, the flap doesn't stay closed. This is the reason my case went bye-bye last weekend w/ extra memory cards in it. I look at the positive side and figure at least I can get a good case now. Do yourself a fawor and don't buy this case.
4 C4000 camera case
C4000 camera fits secuely in nice leather case. Has two side pockets for smartmedia cards or extra batteries.
Well worth the $$$.
5 meets expatations
Case is good for what is intended for.
6 I wouldn't take this case if I were a lawyer!

Don't Judge a Camera by it's Case, Olympus is a Good Camera

For those of you expect a get a case like those built for traditional SLRs, you've got another thing coming.

1. The Olympus case has only a belt loop, so if you want to remove the case from your belt you must remove your trouser belt to take it on or off, ie. no clips.

2. The side pouches make little sense for most of us since they are only big enough to hold Smart Media Cards, and some extra small filters for those who think this is a case for a Nikon or Leica-Flex, and unless you're planning an African safari, with 128MB cards available, you will probably be able to get to a computer and download before you fill up the card. You may be lucky enough to have the right filters sent to you by the company you order from, and even if you do, do you really want to change filters between shots? If so perhaps you should consider the Nikon Professional Series. Face it, this is still a case for a Camedia.

3. If you were to use the camera lens adapter and filter that CameraTopia.com sent me, a 41-52mm adapter with a 52mm UV filter, the camera won't even fit in the case. But, my problems with CameraTopia.com is another story.

4. Finally, WHAT'S WITH THOSE GAPPING HOLES ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDE OF THE CASE? I thought the case was supposed to keep dust and dirt OUT!!!!!! Isn't this the main reason for buying a case, I mean, HELLO PEOPLE!!!!

Needless to say, I plan on returning the one I got.

Remember: The 30 day period for returning things slips by faster than you might think. And on electronics it can be as little as 14 days, from the date it was shipped!!! So if you are not completely satisfied, get on the ball and return that unwanted item before people like those at CameraTopia.com say, "No 14 days is not 20, too bad, have a nice day." When I was less than happy with the filters and adapters they sent me and I wanted to return them. What is that thing Lawyers say? - Caveat Emptor, so true!

PS. I was going to rate this case "1 Star," but I gave it the second star because it was at least made out of leather.

7 Case is Too Small for Olypus D-510 Zoom and Gear
I typically want a case that will cary 1 or 2 sets of spare, AA Batteries, Plympus SmartMedia cards, camera and possibly my AC Olympus charge when I fly to various photo sites. This case is simply too small for that.
8 Not for all Olympus cameras
The camera case itself is nice leather, the package arrived quickly and safely but your advertising is indeed misleading as one of your own reviews shows. Unfortuately, we did not read all the reviews before ordering. Our camera is an Olympus 720 Ultra Zoom. This case is not suitable for it.
9 It does what it's suppose to do!
I was shopping for the Cannon C-4040 when I first noticed this product. I seen immediately that it was designed to fit snugly around the camera and has little pouches to safely store your digital film. After value shopping for a digital camera, I purchased a Sharp 4.2 MegaPixel camera and bought this Olympus Leather case to provide the maximum amount of protection to my investment! My new 4 MegaPixel Sharp Camera (VE-CG40U) fits perfectly and I am quite pleased with the protection it provides.

Accidents happen, this is quality protection!

11 Does not fit all C-Series
This camera case fits only the C-2000Z, C-3000Z & C-4000Z cameras by Olympus. It is not for all C-Series cameras as the ad would have you to believe. While there is probably nothing wrong with the case itself, I was mislead by the advertising here.
12 5 stars case for people wearing belts
Every nice word said about this case is true. My only complaint is that it has no strap. If you are willing to start wearing a belt then this case is perfect for your C series camera.
13 Unsatisfied
Its really too small size to fit in with the accessories.
14 The Camera Fits in the bag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have the Olympus C-4040Z and it fits perfectly in the case with room to spare for 2 additional smart cards and a fresh set of batteries. The case is well made and provides a modicum of protection. I bought the case because I wanted something small as opposed to a camera gadget bag which is designed to carry much more than the camera and a few accessories. The case works.
15 Perfect for camedia c series
I don't by the Olympus bag for the bad reviews...so y bought other, a tremendous bag, ok for Indiana Jones. Forget what you have heard. The olimpus bag is perfect for c series, beliveme my c 4040 fits ok, and is smallÁÁÁÁÁ, and not heavy. So if u are thinking , in a litlle bag, to protect your cam, buy this. The only thing: it only works to carry your cam with you, don't pretend to carry nothing more.
16 A Fine Little Case
This is a great little case! In reading all the negative reviews for this case, I see that in every instance, the unhappy party was trying to use it for the WRONG camera. The add calls it a "C-series" case, but specifically says it is for the C-20X0, C-30X0, & C-40X0 series cameras. The major complaint was the case was too small. The case is small -- very small, but so is my C-4040 camera, and it fits just fine! This is not a gadget bag, it is a camera CASE, and it holds my C-4040 with neck strap attached and lens cap in place, four spare AA size batteries, the remote control, an extra SmartMedia card or two, and the MINI-instruction pamphlet. What more do you want a camera CASE to do? (If you must take along a remote flash unit or a peanut butter & jelly sandwich, its gadget bag time for you.) This case is completely in keeping with what I have come to expect from a product bearing the Olympus name. It is well made, the leather is soft and supple, fits the camera (for which it was designed) like a glove, has room for essential accessories, and is, in general, top notch stuff.
17 If this is for the C-Series~Why doesn't it fit!
This was an optional accessory for the C - 720...but I can tell already it will NOT fit! How confusing! Why it is called the C-Series case? AND, no strap? What's up with that!
18 Whatever...
The 720 doesn't fit well in this bag, nor does the 2100 (of course). The bag itself is okay and fits my Canon S110 just fine.
Go figure!
19 Too small to contain C-2100
I bought this case after I got a C-2100, because it's cheap, leather, and has Olympus logo. But I reture it yesterday because it is too small for my C-2100.
This item is titled as " for C series" and is recommended as an accessary of C-2100 by Amazon. And there is no specification about the size. But it is tiny (don't trust the picture). If you got a camera bigger than your grisp, don't buy it. Anyway, I retured the case... E-business is not always good. Sometime, it costs more than you expect.
20 Don't let the picture fool you!
Bag is much (read much, much) smaller than in the picture. Had to stretch to fit my C-700. Never saw a more useless bag. Doesn't even have a shoulder sling belt. Only got a belt loop but both the bag and camera are too heavy to attach it to your waist belt.

Also no room for anything except a couple of batteries and memory cards.

Wish I could give lower than 1 star rating. This bag doesn't deserve any star rating.

Olympus shouldn't have put its name on it.

JUST DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS!

21 Not for Olympus C700 camera
It's an OK camera case for small cameras, but an Olympus C700 will not fit.
22 Too small a case. Not worth the price.
My Olympus C4040Z does not even fit in this case.

Quality of construction is also not very good. Uses velcro for closing the case :-(

I am returning it.

23 Too small
This case is much smaller than it appears and it does not
fit (without stretching) the C3040 camera.
The side pockets are just big enough for four spare batteries
and some extra memory cards, but that's about it.
I am returning it.
