Panasonic 256 MB Secure Digital Card

Compras Nikon

Panasonic SD memory cards are a high-capacity, high-speed storage medium for the digital age. Incredibly small yet durable, the SD Memory Card is no larger than a postage stamp. But the miniature marvel holds an enormous amount of data.
1 Fast and from Panasonic!!!
This card has been used in my new Panasonic DMC FZ10k digital camera and is lightning quick. In burst mode the pics load to the card almost instantly and I couldn't be happier with it's perfmormance. I also have a Lexar 32x 256MB card and itis similar permormance but this card does have faster transfer speeds (10 mbs)than the Lexar so you may or may not notice a difference depending on what your using it in.
2 FAST and RELIABLE, what more can you ask for?
My first digital camera used Compact Flash card. I bought a PNY card which corrupts every so often. When that happened, I would have to turn the camera off and on again (sort of re-boot), and all the pictures already taken would lost. Originally, I thought it was the camera (a HP), but after some research on the web, I found out that it was a problem common to PNY cards as well as other cheap cards.

Therefore, when it was time for me to buy a SD card for my new digital camera, I got smart this time and did the homework first. Thanks to all the reviewers on Amazon.com, I narrowed my choices to Panasonic and SimpleTech, both with almost identical specs. I purchased the Panasonic card because of its slightly lower price at the time. I now have used this card for over 3 months, and am absolutely satisfied with its performance. First off, it is very fast. My camera has a "burst" mode in which it takes 5 consecutive shots a second. This cards handles it with ease. Most importantly, this card is extremely reliable. I have taken over 2,000 pictures with it and never once had problem with file corruption.

You will take countless number of pictures over the life of a SD card, so it is well worth the extra $20-$30 for the speed and reliability. Highly recommend it with any digital camera.

3 Super fast!
My camera came with a Panasonic card, only 32 MB -too small. When I bought a larger card, I didn't know anything about them, only the shape of the card. I definitely didn't realize there was a difference between brands. I thought a card's a card. I was foolishly seduced by the Sandisk's sale price. My 128 Sandisk is noticably slower when moving pictures from the camera to my computer. Too slow for my impatient self, so here I am buying the one I should have bought in the first place.
4 Buyer Beware
The Panasonic list price for this item is $119.99.
5 Fast, reliable, and high-capacity!
I recently purchased the Panasonic 256 SD card, an upgrade from my 64 SD card that I had before and I am just as pleased with this card. I recently went on a trip to Europe and kept piling pictures onto the card, plus I used it to download my trip details, phone book and more. I really like the versatility that this card affords, and the fact that it is compatible with many different products, something that competing formats are not. My friend ran into this problem when she bought a similar product and found it imcompatible with much of her outdated products. I also found the card to be reliable--it went all the way through Western Europe and back and still works as good as new!
6 fast, better than sandisk
I had both this card and a 256mb sandisk sd card, and writing to the panasonic card with a card reader it was noticaeably faster, about 2-3 times faster than the sandisk card. Also reading large files from it on a pocketpc, it was noticeably peppier than the sandisk card. Probably the best SD Cards available.
7 Reliable and affordable
I have a 64MB SD card by Panasonic which came with my Panasonic AV-10 e-wear gadget as well as a 128MB also from Panasonic, and both have proven totally reliable. I stuff the 128MB with WMA music and use it in my iPaq 1910, and because I'm a clumsy guy I dropped the card a few times, but there are no file errors and the read and write speeds are excellent. I trust Panasonic and also Lexar flash cards. As Panasonic SD cards have come down in price -- now even cheaper than Lexar and Sandisk -- I'm getting the 256MB so I can store more video clips on my AV-10 multi-AV device.
8 An Excellent, Reliable Performer
Of all the SD memory cards that I've used on my iPAQ 3970 I have found this to be the most reliable. Could be psychological, but I find that the Panasonic is slighlt faster than Lexar & SanDisk equivalents when I copy 240MB of MP3 files. Excellent value for money.

Quote of the Day:

After a number of decimal places, nobody gives a damn.

One day this guy is finally fed up with his middle-class existence and
decides to do something about it. He calls up his best friend, who is a
mathematical genius. "Look," he says, "do you suppose you could find some
way mathematically of guaranteeing winning at the race track? We could
make a lot of money and retire and enjoy life." The mathematician thinks
this over a bit and walks away mumbling to himself.
A week later his friend drops by to ask the genius if he's had any
success. The genius, looking a little bleary-eyed, replies, "Well, yes,
actually I do have an idea, and I'm reasonably sure that it will work, but
there a number of details to be figured out.
After the second week the mathematician appears at his friend's house,
looking quite a bit rumpled, and announces, "I think I've got it! I still have
some of the theory to work out, but now I'm certain that I'm on the right
track."
At the end of the third week the mathematician wakes his friend by
pounding on his door at three in the morning. He has dark circles under his
eyes. His hair hasn't been combed for many days. He appears to be wearing
the same clothes as the last time. He has several pencils sticking out from
behind his ears and an almost maniacal expression on his face. "WE CAN DO
IT! WE CAN DO IT!!" he shrieks. "I have discovered the perfect solution!!
And it's so EASY! First, we assume that horses are perfect spheres in simple
harmonic motion..."
