The super-efficient GM-4000F amplifier dishes out 300 watts of peak music power and can be configured for 2-, 3-, or 4-channel operation. Its pulse width modulation (PWM) circuit efficiently outputs only the lower frequencies, which makes it ideal for powering a sub or two. The selectable high-pass and low-pass filters give you flexibility for your system, and the 4-channel speaker level input offers added control. Oversized screw-type power/ground terminals and RCA in/outputs are provided.
1 Efficient Amp
I purchased this amplifier about two months ago and it is great. I have it pushing 2 Alpine type S 6.5''s and two pioneer premier 6.5''s and it never has overheated or cut off for any reason. I have it mounted on the top of my subwoofer box in my trunk and it gets hot in there due to my rockford P8002 and the pioneer never complains. The sound is very clean and clear and the highs are a dream. Bass response is decent but that's why I have subwoofers. If you want to get an amp to power your car speakers and you don't want to have any problems with it then purchase the pioneer. Just make sure your speakers are rated with an RMS around 30 to 60 watts so the pioneer can perform within its range. Overall a great amplifier with no problems.
