1 Stuck with failed monitor
Yes, a good clear monitor for the money, if it works. My one failed after four months of use and since there is no warrantee on this item my money is lost. I now have an expensice door stop.
2 Good monitor for the price
I bought this monitor about 3 months ago because of a mail-in rebate that knocked the price below $200. Image quality is good, colors are vibrant, and visibility is excellent from all angles. I've also reclaimed significant amounts of deskspace from my previous 19" CRT.

My only complaints:
-Dead pixels: I have two that won't turn off (i.e. go black). One stops at red while the other stops at blue. They're only visible when viewing black colors. I seldom do that so I don't notice them.
-Flickering: I've never owned a flat panel before, but when I turn this one on, the image flickers (kind of like when you degauss a CRT) for a few seconds. It goes away though after (I assume) the LCD monitor is "warmed up".
-Chintzy presentation: It's a a given that this LCD was made in Asia, but the packaging is pretty awful. Much of the documentation (manual, registration card, etc) is in Chinese. The LCD itself has no company logo or name on it. Granted these are small things, but they make a difference in the final presentation.

Overall, it was a good deal for the price. I'd recommend it.
3 WORKS GREAT BUT ?
THE MONITOR WORKS GREAT BUT THERE IS NO RETURN ADDRESS ON THE WARRANTY CARD. SO I CAN'T SEND IN THE WARRANTY/REGISTRATION CARD.....
4 This is good for this price.
No dead pix.
Speaker works but don't count on good quality from 1-watt speaker.
Slow shipping.
5 Awesome monitor for the price!
Considering I paid sub 200 for this monitor (after mail in rebate) it was an amazing deal. No dead pixels and color is awesome! I bought this monitor for work use (design) and wanted something for under 200 dollars.
Monitor is sold and looks good, color and brightness is excellent. Would recomened to anyone that needs a good solid cheap and decent sized LCD!
6 Decent, but watch out for dead pixels
Lured [...], I said to myself "what the heck, I can always use another flat panel monitor." While the Corian Pixo 17" has lots of brightness and contrast and the image quality is generally good, my particular unit has seven dead pixels, more than the usual number I've seen. Six of them are dark red or blue so they don't bother me much, but the remaining one is bright -- make it sparkling! -- green near the center bottom which is quite annoying.

Of course, right after I bought this I saw a top-of-the-class Sharp 17" LCD monitor selling for just $50 more, so I was pretty angry at myself. My recommendation: if you budget is really tight, this is an affordable 17" monitor [...]. Otherwise, stick with a namebrand like Sharp or Eizo.
7 Nice and cheap lcd option.
Nice colors, good refresh rate and nice looking monitor. a little dark when playing games like need for speed undergound, however with all other applications it's perfect. speakers are useless.
8 Decent Monitor - Great Price
I just received my monitor today. Going to replace the CRT on my kid's machine that is about 8 years old (and was refurbished when I bought it).

I tested the pixels and found two dead pixels which I doubt will be noticable for my unsophisticated purposes. No doubt this monitor was made in a facility along side much more expensive models. Great value. Hopefully it has some longevity.
9 Purchased 5 of them
All 5 are perfect, great color, I like the Picture Mode, Text Mode and Economy Mode. Super flat face and no logo's plastered all over them, recessed all 5 into the walls of each of the rooms in my home. Maybe I just got lucky, we'll see. I am buying 5 more next week.
10 No warrenty. No Support. Nice Monitor
This is a manufacturer lcd from chi Mei's at ttp://www.cmv.com.tw/en/default.asp. It is sold under the name Corian Pixo but there are no attempts to brand it. The packaging is very generic with no indication that it's from any company in fact except the obscure website of chi mei's in the manual.

Do not expect warrenty on this item as there is no contact information of any kind to take advantage of the 3 year warrenty. Just today I received a "RETURN TO SEND, NOT DELIVERABLE AS ADDRESSED"

I'm disappointed by the fact Amazon is selling this item.

Overall however, the monitor is acceptable but may be overpriced. There are many more similiar priced lcds on the market for the same price especially after the end of this year.
11 You can't beat the price
I was a die-hard Sumsung and Dell LCD buyer and decided to take a chance and buy this Taiwan-made LCD for my daughter. The quality is every bit as good as a name brand LCD for me. The LCD is bright and clear. I am not using the built-in speakers so I can't comment on those. Looks good on our desk. This is a great deal (with a $50 rebate) so take advantage of it while you can.

12 No dead pixel! Excellent for the price.
I got the MAG LT782s from bestbuy on blackfriday sale (+tax-rebate=$213). I found several bad pixels and then went to exchange for another one. It was even worse; I gave up after a few trials. I took risk ordering this LCD (-rebate=$199) on line. This economical LCD didn't dissappoint me at all with respect of its quality. I don't think you can beat this price! The warrenty may be a concern; but I still like to give it five starts.
13 Nice basic monitor... Great price
I was tenative about ordering this monitor given that I could not find anything about the manufacturer on the web nor could I find any reviews of the product... but given the price, I figured I would give it a try.

I purchased two of them. Both arrived on time, unfortunately one of them has a cracked display that became visible once I turned it on. I suspect this happened during shipping. I went back to the Amazon web site and selected the return option... Amazon provided simple instructions to do the return. Hopefully the rest of the process will go as smoothly.

Installation was simple plug and play. No drivers are necessary or included.

The appearance of the monitors is very clean and simple. No logos or names appear on the front.

The controls are the standard ones you would expect (Menu, Brighness, Contrast) and are well placed. I particularly like the Turbo button that allows you to toggle between 'Picture, Text and Economy' mode depending on what your looking at.

Image Quality: There is no flickering or ghosting. Text is sharp and easy to read. I use an ATI All-in-Wonder video card that displays a TV in a window. The TV image is great. On the whole, the image quality is fine for normal applications.

Documentation: Obviously the manufacturer didn't spend much money on documentation. There is a Quick Setup brochure packed with the monitor that is mostly in Chinese and of minimal value. There is a PDF owners manual that was extremely slow to open on my machine. It too is of minimal value.

At this point I have only had the monitors for a day and one will have to be returned due to the cracked display so it is premature to rate quality and durability.

Summary: On the whole, this is a perfectly good monitor for the average home or small business user including the the casual gamer. They are clean looking, nice image quality and a great price.

14 Nice monitor; probably no support
I received the LCD monitor yesterday. Set it to 1280x1024 and watched a Divx movie. Pretty good picture. No dead pixel.

The only thing makes me worry is the warranty. he box, user manual and warranty card are so generic. There is no company name/logo/address printed anywhere. From the Chinese version of user manual, I noticed the monitor is made by Chi Mei in Taiwan. Chi-Mei is one of the largest LCD monitor OEM in Taiwan. I think the quality should be ok. But if the monitor breaks someday, I really don't know where to send it for repair.
15 Good Monitor for the Price
If you're like me and you're getting this as a second "spare" monitor (not for graphic design work) then you won't be dissapointed with this monitor. I am accustomed to large pricey Trinitrons, and this monitor comes reasonably close to that quality in color and contrast. Good refresh rate with very little ghosting and mine had NO bad pixels. The biggest drawback of this monitor is that the vertical viewing angle is exaggerated in the specifications. If you get this monitor, you will notice that the top of the screen is slightly darker than the bottom because of the smaller viewing angle. My Sony LCD does not have that problem. If you can live with it (it's pretty minor) then this is a great deal. Also, the default brightness is WAY too high - you have to use the economy mode and turn down the contrast because the brightness control doesn't help. Running through the Adobe Gamma wizard really helps out. This might actually be beneficial as the bulb wears down in a few years.

Quote of the Day:

Two men are in a hot-air balloon. Soon, they find themselves lost in a

canyon somewhere. One of the three men says, "I've got an idea. We can
call for help in this canyon and the echo will carry our voices to the
end of the canyon. Someone's bound to hear us by then!"
So he leans over the basket and screams out, "Helllloooooo! Where
are we?" (They hear the echo several times).
Fifteen minutes later, they hear this echoing voice: "Helllloooooo!
You're lost!"
The shouter comments, "That must have been a mathematician."
Puzzled, his friend asks, "Why do you say that?"
"For three reasons. First, he took a long time to answer, second,
he was absolutely correct, and, third, his answer was absolutely useless."
