1 great
its super buy it the best
2 Great Guide
I purchased this guide after losing the original one from 3 years ago. I found this one much more detailed and a lot more helpful. Instead of flipping around pages to find which Pokemon is caught where then flipping to another page to find out what HM's and TM's it can learn, you can get it all on the page for that Pokemon. Thanks again for another great book.

Sincerely, Eileen Caprio

3 This is Cool
I love this because Pokemon Yellow is my favorite game.
4 Pokemon Yellpw
It is a very helpful guide. it helps you through pokemon yellow, red, and blue. It is well written. it also is made for: pokemon red, blue, crystal, gold and silver. it is also made for other games.
5 Very helpful
Very helpful indeed. The pictures weren't so great but I got through the game fine. In record time I might add.

I think you should have it too.
It has tips in it,
that can really help you.
All kids and,
GBC fans,
and pikachu fans,

7 A great guide
THIS GUIDE IS A MUST. It will help you througout yellow version. A guide that is always great help don't miss out on it.
8 Great Stradegy Guide
You wouldn't believe how much this book has helped me with pokemon yellow! Everyone I know agrees with me that yellow is one of the hardest pokemon games and I thought it was hard even with the stradegy guide! If I didn't buy this I probably would not have finished the game. I recommend this book if you want to get all of the pokemon in pokemon yellow.
9 no need
it's just like the red and blue version but you have less pokemon to catch but you need to know where they are.
10 very helpful
i use strategy guides mostly to track when a pok?mon will acquire a new skill and sometimes for the maps. however...occasionally the write-up makes it sound as if the "one-of-a-kind" pok?mon are really difficult to capture. for example, it said it would take 30 pok?balls to capture snorlax. i used TWO the first time i battled both of them. another example: 50 ULTRABALLS to capture articuno. i used FIVE after shutting my game off without saving it only once. another 50 ULTRABALLS to capture zapdos. i used ONE on my second try.

i hardly think i'm such a great strategic player that it's ME. so don't be scared like i was to go battle these pok?mon, and don't waste your money like i did buying tons of pok?balls and expensive ultraballs until you've battled these rare pok?mon a few times.

11 A great guide!
I bought this guide because I was stuck. I had not watched the cartoon series, so I was not sure what this game was really about. This guide was really helpful, probably the best game guide I have ever purchased. It is filled with explanations, cute pictures, and tips; the pokedex is informative, and I enjoy checking my Pokemon off the list after I have captured them. The best part of the guide is the tear out map, very handy. If you are a busy student and do not have hours to spend discovering the secrets of this game, don't feel guilty, get this guide!
12 Catch all the 3 Versions in a Book
Decide to buy this book because it serves as a guide to all 3 versions of the Pokemon game (Red, Blue, and Yellow). Though it primarily focuses on the Yellow version, it doesn't lack telling one what he could expect and the differences in the other two.

The Pokedex provided inside is pretty cool too. Besides having a full listing of all the Pokemons, their types, and their learned skills at different levels, it also shows the locations where they could be found, and the TMs they could learn (something quite different from the guide books of Red and Blue).

Personally, I find the big 'tear-out' poster map attached at the back, plus the 2-pages rough outlines of what one needs to achieve at the different towns a very useful quick guide to start the game with.

A worthwhile book if you have yet owned any Red and Blue guides. Else, you might find many contents repeated, though you may still buy it for the poster map and comprehensive Pokedex.

13 Great Guide!
This is really good guide if you happen to be stuck somewhere in the game. And what's really good about it is that it covers the Blue and Red versions! Which can be handy! It's also handy because it gives you the stats of the PokŽmon as well as info about the TMs & HMs. And you also get a poster of the towns (Pallet, Pewter, Cerulean, Fuschia, etc.) that you can explore! (Well, the one that I purchased had one)
14 Not much
This is more like an extension of the manuals walkthrough than a very in depth guide. The layout can be confusing as well not always knowing what dialog box is referring to what map. This may be the best guide there is, but it's not very good. It may add more to someone already familiar to the game but for a newbie looking for some help, and basic information such as which Pokemon show up only once or what each HM does exactly, the Web is proablly a better resource.
15 A helpful guide
This book is very helpful but some things a incorrect in the game, like it shows the name of the wrong pokemon.
16 It was A fantastic Book!
I love This book because it gives you all the informatiom that you need. And all that money, well its worth it. It has a lot of details to show. What I like is that it will give you all the answers that you need. Its a great book. Buy It!

18 Awesome Pokemon book!
This book was very helpful in playing the game if you are a beginner, or even a seasoned Pokemon expert that needs a map for Mt. Moon or wants to know when Venusaur will learn Solarbeam. It has a complete guide of all the TMs, HMs, moves, items, and all of the Pokemon. A must have! P.S.- A great Christmas present along with Pokemon Yellow!
19 Great Game Great Guide
Pokemon Yellow is the best game ever Pikachu follows you around and you can even go to Sunny Town and Neon Town like the showeven get a Togepy and go in back of Bill's House. The Guide helps you alot too.
20 A must have for Pokemon Yellow players
This book was great. It went through all the details of the game from getting your starter Pokemon to defeating the Elite Four. It tell you all your option; how high your Pokemon levels should be in certain places, and much more. This is a must have for Pokemon players. It also covers the Red & Blue versions.
21 Primas Done It Again!
Prima's done it again with another MUST BUY pokemon strategy guide! This book helps you throughout your entire journey with pikachu (remember this game is based on the pokemon cartoon series) plus gives you all the tm's and hm's guide locations of were you will run into team rocket, your rival, locations of all the pokemon and more!!....this book is a MUST HAVE.
