1 's pretty good
I haven't had the thing where it tried to eat CDs, but mine (also the red version, also bought at WalMart) gets upset if I try to run full-sized mp3 disks on it. It takes the 210M CDs with no problem, though, and since that's mostly what I listen to it's not a problem.

The battery lasts a fairly long time, too. If you're looking for a low-price mp3 CD player I'd reccommend it.
2 A Total Piece of CRAP!

Now to be fair, there are a couple of differences between this exact product and the one I purchased:

1. Mine is not blue, it is red.
2. Mine does not come with remote.
3. Mine does not come with a car kit (already have one).

Ok, with that said, on to the review.

I purchased this cd/mp3 player "hoping" to upgrade from my old Philips (recommend products from this company) portable cd player (which I love, but does not play mp3 cd's). Bought the RCA player at where else but--- WALMART --- hooked up to the car kit in my car to experience probably the worst portable cd player I've ever laid hands on...this thing skipped from the 1 minute I started using it...the car was not even MOVING and it was still skipping!! Also, it takes almost forver (exaggeration) for it to load any mp3 song on cd. Needless to say, the player did not improve any over the week I've had it.

I am highly disappointed with this product. I will be returning it to WALMART and getting my money back...I plan on doing thorough research before purchasing my second portable mp3 cd player. YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

3 don't buy this crap
First time in my experience I got a CD player which is capable to scratch (!!!) the surface of a CD. Wow!!! That's an achievement. This cost me one of my CD, now having a couple of nice concentric scratches and skipping. I'm getting rid of this damn thing.

Quote of the Day:

(German philosopher) Georg Wilhelm Hegel, on his deathbed, complained,

"Only one man ever understood me." He fell silent for a while and then added,
"And he didn't understand me."

A: Trustworthy.
