Rio ce2110 2.5GB Player

1 A better-looking Rio
Until I saw the Rio ce2110, I never considered buying the Rio Carbon. I just found the black Carbons in particular to be an eyesore. When I saw this mint green one featured on engadget.com, though, I knew I had found my player. The ce2110 is very stylish and mod -- I think Martha Stewart might even approve of this one. It also has more capacity than I'd ever need (2.5 gigs is over twice as large as my first player), and it's small and light, but feels substantial in your hand (not like my Sandisk player that felt like a piece of styrofoam). It sounds great and gives you lots of great options (selecting by album, artist, year or genre; placing bookmarks; playing audio books, etc.).

The case it comes with is sleek-looking as well, but not very practical. You can't access the important buttons with the base on, and it's hard not to turn the darn thing on when you put it in the case for safe-keeping. Luckily I discovered vajacases.com, where I could order a custom-made case in mint green that is designed to allow you to access all of the controls while still protecting the devise. Not a cheap case, but neither this player or the case are for those only thinking about their budget.

If this is your style and you're sick of iPods like I am, I highly recommend this player.
