1 Not worth the style
I have had this phone for 1.5 yrs. I am on my second phone because I thought there was a problem with the first one, but I soon realized with the second one, its just the phone. The phone is slow to keep up with you, you can dial a number and instead of the numbers showing up on the screen instantly, you have to wait for it to catch up with you. When you open the flip, the screen is black for a couple of seconds. I am not happy with the phone anymore, I thought it was soo great...small & cute....NOT worth it. Can't wait to get a different phone(might go back to Nokia)!!
2 disapointed
I JUST BOUGHT A SAMSUNG S307 I HAVE T-MOBLE WHEN I PURSHASE IT I WAS TOLD MY SIMS CARD WOULD WORK WITH IT, BUT THEY LIED. THE PHONE NEEDS TO BE UNLOCKED AND IT SEEMS LIKE NOBODY KNOWS HOW TO DO IT. [...] SAMSUNG WILL NOT HELP ME BECAUSE THEY THINK THE PHONE IS STOLEN.

THANK YOU
3 Flip-open stopped working
3 days after the warranty expired, the phone started to get stuck. And 3-4 more days later it stopped completely! Electronic part that was connecting the lcd to the phone was split in half due to over-usage, I assume. I have no idea how they design flip-open phones that brake due to that kind of usage!
Samsung said since the warranty exprired (3 days!) they will fix for $60. Cingular said I should buy a new one for $200. I am not doing any of that!
4 Cingular is deceptive!
My review is on Cingular. I bought a phone w/service and was told I could return for full refund and only charged for any air time used. THEY LIE. THE PHONE DID NOT WORK IN MY AREA AND I CANCELLED THE NEXT DAY. THEY ARE CHARGING ME FOR ACTIVATION even though it never worked in my area. If you are uncertain you will keep the phone and service, DON'T BUY from Cingular. Amazon will also do nothing to reimburse.
5 Fantastic Phone
This phone is perfectly reliable and I have never had problems with any of my s307's (dropping them will probably cause damage--as if dropping your computer, your TV, or any other electronic device wouldn't. So my best advice is to not drop it). The audio and video quality is excellent and Samsung has great support. The only drawbacks are that it doesn't have a camera, nor does it have a speakerphone. The hands-free headset that Samsung makes is great, however, and the phones are meticulously customizable. These phones are great for handing out to family members (especially student) and co-workers alike. It isn't stuffed with tons of extra games and applications, but if you are looking for a good phone to make calls from rather than to plan your life with, this is a great buy.
6 Piece of Garbage
This phone, which is for little teenagers, is a piece of garbage. Not one month after I bought it, the screen shorts out everytime you close the fliptop. When you open it back up, the screen is just black. I couldn't even get a new one because I didn't buy the rip-off warranty.
7 Nice design, however, problems with the lcd
I bought mine in March 2004. I dropped it twice, just while putting it into my pocket or purse and now there is a line across the lcd. Before I ever dropped it, there were times when the outside displays very dimly. I owned a nokia phone previously, I dropped it several times and never had a problem.
