Samsung SyncMasterTM 930MP-Silver The Samsung SyncMaster 930mp is a 19-inch analog and digital TFT-LCD delivering an ultra high 1000:1 contrast ratio, 250 cd/m2 brightness, 1280 x 1024 resolution, 178/178 degree wide viewing angle and scanning frequency of 31-81 kHz horizontal and 56-75 Hz vertical. It features a built-in TV and FM radio tuner, built-in speakers and built-in power.
1 Wrong item, wrong price
I ordered 930mp on 2-21-05 thru Amazon' "Marketplace" vender Office Depot for $499.95. It turned out Office Depot sent me a lesser model-915N for the same price. I called Office Depot and was told to refuse shipment and claim a full refund including shipping. That's what I did. But later I found out on my credit card statement, they didn't refund the shipping charges. It took me several phone calls and emails to finaly get the entire refund.
The point is this, the listing error happened as a fault of Amazon and Office Depot. Instead of being helpful in making a prompt full refund to the customer who ordered the item in good faith, they blamed each other for making the mistake and refused to take responsibility for not verifying the listing to be correct. The costomer is left with the hassel of getting a refund. Even in the refund process, they were not helpful, they would not coordinate and only credited a partial refund. If I didn't check the numbers exactly on my credit card statement, I would have been taken advantage of for the un-refunded shipping charges.
I will be extremely wary in the future about purchasing from Marketplace venders, especially Office Depot.
2 Not the product advertsied
Same experience as others. Ordered the Samsung SyncMaster 930MP. Received Amazon confirmation of order showing the advertised product. Received confirmation From Tech Depot for an order of a Samsung SyncMaster 915N. Contacted Tech Depot via e-mail AND left voice message at the provided number within 12 hours of ordering. Took them 3 1/2 days to respond and then only after 25 additional e-mails were sent. They blame Amazon.com for the mistake.
3 This is not 930MP, but a regular LCD monitor 915N.
The product that is being sold by Office Depot is a C915N - a regular LCD monitor. It is not a 930MP as stated in the marketplace.
If you are purchasing the product thinking you are buying a 930MP be careful. This is not the one you are looking for.
I've already told them to correct the description of the product to avoid misleading the buyers, but as you can see nothing was done.
