Building on the success of the award winning XV-Z9000U, SharpVision introduces the next generation in Home Theater: The XV-Z10000U high definition Digital Light Processing (DLP) front projector. Utilizing the new Mustang/HD2 DLP chip set from Texas Instruments and Sharp's upgraded proprietary computer video integrated composer (CV-IC2) system technology, this 16: 9 projector boasts previously unattained contrast ratios delivering one of the best pictures available in consumer home theater today.
1 Excellent DLP projector, easy to set up, 5 seperate inputs
I have this projector in my home theater and think that for the money it is one of the better buys out there. I compared it to the Infocus 7200 and decided that the features of the Sharp gave me more flexibility.

Setup was easy with two people, the additional Sharp ceiling bracket is simple to adjust and attach. I have three devices connected to this projector, Direct TV (HDTV), DVD and Laser Disc.

HDTV from Direct TV especially on the Discovery Channel is absolutely stunning. DVD's look great as well as the over the air HD broadcasts.

The picture out of the box needed some tweaking but this was easy to do as the remote gives you access to all the functions you need. If you are so inclined, the projector comes with software and a pc can be connected if you wish to make minute adjustments.

I now have 500+ hours on my first bulb and I have been very pleased with this projecter and I highly recommend it. If you are interested in true home theater, find a store where you can see this projector in action.
