This DVD proves that Slipknot is the band that I'd and you would like to see live. They are so great live. They jump and are aggressive on stage. This live concert shows the power that metal has to give for all of us who like the bands like Slipknot. All the songs sound better in this live concert than studio. Corey's voice is so angry. These mask men are truly the 2000's best nu metal group! The music videos are excellent: Spit It Out and Wait And Bleed are animated videos but there's also a live video from "Wait And Bleed".

This is awsome I would totally recommened this to any Slipknot Fan I just got into them at the end of 2004 and now I have all thier Cds this DVD two shirts and a poster of them yeah thier freaky looking but buy this you wont be sorry. Its worth every penny, I saw my favorit band memebers on there, Mick,Corey,Joey,Jim,and finally Sid.You will watch it over and over again. If I could I would rate this 100 stars out of 5.

4 This is how to do a concert/music DVD
Lovem 'em or hate 'em, you've got to admit that Slipknot can put on a really good show. Their live set on this Disasterpieces DVD proves this, but more importantly, this is how bands should do concert/music DVD's. The first disc of this two disc set features Slipknot performing in London during their Pledge of Allegiance tour, and the fan favorite songs you'd expect to hear are here, including "People = S***", "Eyeless", "My Plague", "Heretic Anthem", "Spit it Out", "Wait and Bleed", and "Surfacing" among others, plus an off the wall drum solo from Joey Jordinson, who is undoubtadly one of the best drummers in metal today. The sound quality is amazing, and you get to see the kind of chaos which breaks out at a Slipknot show. Disc 2 features videos for "My Plague", "Left Behind", "Spit it Out", "Wait and Bleed", and the rarely seen animated version of "Wait and Bleed", along with the audio only "Purity" which was available on the Digipak version of Slipknot's self titled debut. All in all, this is one concert/music DVD which is definitely worth the price, and for Slipknot fans, this is most definitely a must own.

This DVD is freaking awesome. It shows the members and crowd preparing and then BOOM! Intense music. With two amazing solos from SID and JOEY. Overall this DVD is crazy. It rocks almost as hard as the band.
7 Best ever Slipknot DVD
This is by far one of the best concert DVD's i've ever seen. Plus it has all of the music videos plus a rare track of Purity. Joey's Drum solo was flawless. And the sound quality is amazing.
It has many different camera angles so you can watch witch ever member you like best. Plus the behind the scenes clips are great. You get to see the band putting on thier masks and even practicing before the show. Plus the songs they play are from there two best cd's, IOWA and SLIPKNOT including (SIC) People=$#&% and heretic anthem. Don't waste your money on the other slipknot DVD's.
Buy this one it's really worth it.
8 Simply Stunning
Now, I've seen my share of concerts... But no band can grasp, let alone match, the work and thought that goes into the sets and performances of Slipknot. Sometimes you see a concert where the band comes out, plays their piece, and leaves thousands of dollars richer. You can tell that what we have here is a band that seeks to please its maggots.
First, I must say the set was phenomenal... The band sort of captured their essence and strew it across the London stadium. All of the set is there for a reason, even if it be Sid's frequent little escapades, where he feels it necessary to leave his jockeying post and roam throughout the scaffolding and propsets...
The camera angles are everything you want them to be... With an added feature. This DVD actually allows you to see the concert through a band member of your choice's point of view, making the experience all the more interesting with every viewing.
The music... What to say about the music? It's Slipknot, people; you should know what to expect. The tracks blend the most precisely-timed and intricately-worked drumming and most intentionally diabolical guitar riffs to create a beautifully working piece of art. Included in the live performance are various rare tracks, including "Purity" and "Eeyore", both previously available only on the Digipak issue of Slipknot's self-titled album.
This is one of the few DVD's I have seen to date that actually include an interesting bonus disc... On disc two, there is minimal live footage (what is there is various clips from concerts displayed as videos), but the DVD makes up for what it lacks in quality. Never before could you find the animated "Wait and Bleed" video, let alone that for the Terry Date mix. This disc includes many other videos from the pre-"Vol. 3: The Subliminal Verses" era, including "Left Behind". Also included is the studio recording and solely audio "Purity".
Overall, this DVD completely broke the barriers of expectation with the sheer amount of work put into a live performance... Simply stunning.

10 F'N AMAZING
This is by far the GREATEST live show i have ever seen, and i have seen 47 live shows by 21 bands, and 6 of those have been SLIPKNOT but non of those shows even came close to this. Here are my reviews of the songs:
1. People=S**t. 5/5 Great energy out of every memeber of the band, and a great way to kick off the show.
2. Liberate. 5/5 Another amazing performance, sounded better live than the studio version.
3. Left Behind. 5/5 A little bit of a slower song but that didnt mean that it took away from the bands energy.
4. EEYORE. 3/5 Not one of my personal favourites but the band did look like they were enjoying themselves.
5. Disasterpiece. 5/5 One of the best performances of the night, a very fast song that kicks a$$ the whole way through and SLIPKNOT showed that well with there performance.
6. Purity. 5/5 This sounded incredible
Sids solo. 2/5 I am not a dj so i am not really sure how to feel
about this, it can get old fast
7. Gently. 1/5 The worst performance of the show, coreys vocals didnt sound to good on this one.
Joey's solo. 5/5 Being a drummer i can really respect Joey for what he did on this, he had some cool sounding double bass things in there. you have to see this to believe it.
8. Eyeless. 2/5 Never was that great of a song.
9. My Plague. 4/5 If you were to listen to this and not watch it you would think it was the album you were listening to.
10. New Abortion. 4/5 Nice little talk before the song.
11. THE HERETIC ANTHEM. 10/5 The best performance of the night, there was pyro everywhere, the whole stage was on fire.
12. Spit it out. 5/5 Amazing.
13. Wait and bleed. 4/5 a nice little song, corey sounded amazing.
14. (sic). 2/5 meh.
15. Surfacing. 6/5 Micks little solo that he does before the song sounded better than on the album, an amazing way to end the show.
11 Insanity just pure unadulterated insanity
Now band DVDs are supposed to suck usually, right? Well this one by far takes the cake as the BEST band DVD ever created. Some people here have praised Joey's drum solo which is insanely great I admit but my favorite was Sid's solo on the turntables. Both before gently and after. It was just the best peice of DJing I have ever seen next to hip hop. I recomend this DVD for all my fellow maggots and those who wnat to know what a live Slipknot experience is like. By it now.

i buy a lot of live band DVD's and this one is without a doubt the best one. not only does the band put one hell of a performance, but the audio and video is INCREDIBLE. there's also a lot of behind the scenes, music videos and a really cool thing where you can watch 2 of the songs and chose one of the 9 members to watch during the song. great if you're a musician like me and want to watch the different things each member is doing. now for a full review of the concert....

Left Behind- 5/5, incredible, Sid stage-dove from a 10 foot speaker into the crowd!
Eeyore- 4/5, it's heavy as Corey promised but still not one of my favorites, i usually skip it.
Disasterpeice- 5/5, great performance but it's just not one of my favorite songs.
Purity- 7/5, my favorite. the song f'in rocks and its identical to the studio version. awesome!
Gently- 4/5, worst song on the dvd but still good.
Eyeless- 5/5, nice and heavy another one of my favorites.
*Joey's Drum solo- 6/5, incredible, me being a drummer, i can appreciate that Joey is doing some pretty crazy double bass stuff while facing the ground at a 90 degree angle.
My Plague- 5/5, another one of my favorites, again identical to the studio verison.
New Abortion- 5/5, very energetic song, great performance.
The Heretic Anthem- 6/5, electrifying, pyro everywhere, crowd going nuts, just awesome.
Spit it Out- 7/5, again spectacular. during the breakdown, Corey gets the entire pit to sit down then after the build-up he yells "Jump Da F*ck up!" and the whole pit stood up and went crazy. best performance on the whole dvd.
Wait and Bleed- 5/5 one of my favorite songs from slipknot done perfectly with energy.
(sic)- 5/5- wow crazy is all i think of.
Surfacing- 5/5, perfect ending on the perfect performance.
so the best performances in my opinion were Purity, The Heretic Anthem, Spit it Out, (sic), Eyeless, and My Plague. best band DVD ever, buy it NOW!

OMFG!!! This dvd is so amazing! It blows your mind in every possible way! I could watch every part of this dvd over and over and over again a thousand times...oh wait...I have, and still am! This dvd is just...awww! I love it so much. I recommend that every maggot out there go out and buy a copy for themselves...and a couple more copies for your friends and even to get someone new into the slipknot world.
14 A MUST for Slipknot fans!
Every song is a masterpiece. I love every track, even those that i didn't like very much before. I have one problem though, between tracks there are clips of thing that happen before the show and stuff. These get old REALLY fast, but as long as theres a skip button, im alright. The music videos have never been too great, but I LOVE the Spit it out video sooo much so imma let the others slide. Well, in short, SLIPKNOT FANS!! GET THIS NOW!!!!!
15 Bands, Take Notes
Best Music DVD production next to a Metallica DVD production. The show is amazing, the sound quality is amazing, and the special features are awesome. They did not leave anything out on this DVD. We all can hear the same songs over and over again, but what makes the DVD special is the drum solo (you can't hear that on an album.) They play their best songs in this peformance, and i tell you what, his voice sounds great in every song.

First off, this DVD is amazing and awesome!I loved every second of this DVD and the show was awesome! I recommend this to every Slipknot fan because it's completly awesome! every song was great!and i do agree that mick's guitar was not loud enough! but i could still hear it and joey's drum solo was really cool!Corey really cursed a lot though but, who cares?! and yes i hate the clown because he's disgusting, jackin off his mic! he's weird but the rest is just pure awesome! go and get it now!!!

If there are any aspiring Music Producers out there take a look at this DVD and regardless of whether u like slipknot or not this how a live concert DVD should be made. This was the best DVD I have ever seen in my life. The performence was great, the crowd was great, everything was great. Although, the reason I am giving this DVD 4 stars and not 5 is because the amps for james and micks guitars were to quiet. But other than that it was great. My words of wisdome are...just buy the DVD, I have no other comments.

20 SlipKnot's Generous Tribute To The Maggots
I've been a "Maggot" for about a year now. SlipKnot is one of those bands like Metallica, or Iron Maiden that when live, sounds almost identically to the studio version (Well Okay.. Corey's vocals can be a little blabbery at times). Here's how I'd rate the member's performence:
0 Sid (Turntable DJ) - Very interactive. He did a very good job. He mooned the crowd. It was cool!
1 Joey (Main Drums) - Stunning... Kick-ass solo!
2 Paul (Bass) - The true pulse of Slipknot!
3 Chris (Custom Percussion) - Custom Percussion has greatly imroved. Good work!
4 James (Guitar) - Not nearly loud enough. But good.
5 Craig (Samples) - Not used as much as I thought. Sid did more.
6 Shawn (Custom Percussion) - Same stats as Chris, Shawn is better though!
7 Mick (Guitar) - Better than James, but the amps were still too friggin' quiet!
8 Corey (Vocals) - Very good. He was enegetic through the whole concert. Really great job!

THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST EVER LIVE CONCERT ON DVD I OWN! IF YOU ARE A DIRE SLIKNOT FAN THAN LOOK NO FURTHER THAN RIGHT HERE. THE SOUND AND VIDEO ARE PERFECT ON THIS DVD. This is the best dvd ever! I've been a slipknot fan for about 7 months and i just got this dvd 3 days ago. I cant stop watching it! The 1st disk shows a concert in London which is amazing! Their concert is sic... The 2nd disk shows awesome music videos and more concert footage! I cant wait for their new c.d. I've already listened to 2 songs and its awesome. It comes out May, 25th. If you even like 1 song I can guarentee you that if you buy this you'll love it!

This cdvd is the best... it hasnt got 100 songs... its got less but bettar ones1 It fetures over 20 minutes of non stop hedbangking akshun... the best around too... This dvd had incredible solos from Sid and Joey. Sid plays on the turntable and Joey plays on the drums if yuo didn't know. There solos alone are worth the price. Hi there! I had read all the reviews here and this was the only thing my Slipknot collection lacked, I was searching it everywhere. Finally, I bought it today. Damn it, I can't describe the moment I laid my hands on it.
Let me tell you something: Joey's drum solo is worth all the money and much much more!!! Plus Spit it Out live performance is great. I can't keep myself from jumping around the house each time I listen it.
Anyway, a must have for any "Maggot"!!!

The content of this DVD is excelent. Many live songs and all their music videos. The downside is the sound quality is just horrible. I think they did it on porpuse because even the songs not recorded live sound horrible. If you can stand the poor sound quality then deffinatly get this DVD.

What can I say that hasn't been said by the other reviews about this DVD. It's the best damn DVD I've ever purchased. Every track sung on it is undescribable. Obviously, the best part was the solo Joey did. If you're a SlipKnot fan, GET THIS DVD!!! You'll get your money's worth.
36 This is a superb DVD
Compared to the other live DVD's that are on the market today, this DVD blows them all away. The sound is perfect (comparing the Live Dosage dvd to Slipknot for a second) When Corey sings/screams, there is no bleed from the stage sound, as there is on Live Dosage, so the sound is as if you're hearing it from the recording studio. I love this sound. There is no phase problems from the vocal mic picking up guitar or drum sounds, I commend who ever the sound engineer was. This DVD is the great for anyone who enjoys Dolby 5.1 surround sound.
37 Slipknot Fans Dream Comes True
What else can you say about Slipknot. They've done it all. From CD's to DVD's and even to plastic figures and lets not forget the clothing. Their DVD "Disasterpieces" marks a rebound from the first dvd "Welcome To Our Neighborhood" which didn't fair too good. In "Disasterpieces" it has it all from fan involvement to behind-the-scences. The dvd contains a rarity in "Purity" which was cut from their original pressing of their S/T album in June of '99. They hit their very first album (Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat.) in a song called "Gently", to their number one song from their 2nd S/T album "Wait and Bleed" then off their most recent album "Iowa" in a song called "Heretic Anthem". Awesome dvd for any die hard Slipknot fan.
38 Helps you understand SLipknot better
Now i was a little worried when i realized it would be a live dvd i wa hoping they would do what KoRn did with "deuce" so i bought the dvd and played the live section pure madness it rocked! corey's vocals ruled and it wasn't just a live dvd it shows you slipknot behind all the crazy *hit and i lvoe the pre concert part. Now to disk 2 it has all 4 videos plus the animated version for wait & bleed Now back to the live section it plays all the hits ( my plaugue, left behild, spit it out, wait & bleed) and all the crowd favorites like ( surfacing,liberate people=*hit eyeless) A must for any slipknot fan.

I love the songs and the part on the second disc where you can have multiple camera angles on certain songs. I would always watch Joey drum. Who wouldn't? You need to go and buy this DVD. 41 My favorite band finally releases my favorite DVD
Slipknot have been my favorite band ever since I heard their demo of "Spit It Out" when they got signed back in '99. As soon as I heard that one, I was instantly hooked. So you can imagine how excited I was when I learned they were to release a live DVD. This was something I had been waiting for years for!!! A few days before X-Mas I saw it and bought it for myself haha since my family for some reason never know what to buy me (music-wise) and since I already knew I was getting either an XBox or a DVD player, I bought it and had to wait 2 DAYS FAR TOO F-CKING LONG to watch this, but let me tell you it was well worth it. Every song performed on this flawless concert is basically all their best. Not to mention all their music videos and the recently unavailabe and awesome track "Purity" on Disc 2. But they could have played more songs (esp. Diluted, Prosthetics, I Am Hated...), but it's Slipknot so it doesn't matter, for whatever they do is godlike to my eyes. Do yourself a favor, if you are a fan of the mighty Slipknot in ANY way, and you don't own this... I pity you. I feel like I'm babbling on like a moron because mere words simply cannot described the greatness on these two discs. Wether you are new to this band or are an old-school hardcore 'Knot fan, you definitely ought to check this out. Plus, it's a damn good price for a 2-disc DVD. Check it out and keep heavy music alive!

Oh my god...wait, considering the group, wrong deity huh? Regardless this is AWESOME. You know how some of these live performanc dvd's can be. usually the audio kinda bites or the picture quality isn't so hot. not this time, baby! The audio is brilliant and you get to see the band from multiple on and off stage angles. Some of the most notable pieces here are the solos by joey (you have to watch this thing. The man gets to a position where gravity is now working against him, if you catch my drift) and sid (who is just plain awesome on those turntables, you also see him moon the crowd of maggots, it's hilarious). Corey has an amazing stage presence and leaves th crowd in absolute awe the entire show. Mick is also amazing to watch as he bangs out riffs doing full body head banging with his hair flying everywhere. looks pretty d*mn cool. I unfortunately have not had the privelidge of witnessing a slipknot concert, but this will tide me over till they come my way again. The special features have an audio version of purity (the song cut from their first album) wait and bleed and left behind videos, and features that let you control the cameras during certain songs. The greatest band in the world, thousands of screaming fans, and pyrotechnics...who could ask for anything more?

Slipknot's first DVD release was well-anticipated by the web-watchers of roadrunnerrecords.com, as it was by many hardcore nu-metal heads around the world. As the morose, suicidal and angst-ridden teens waited with bated breath, Corey and the 'Knot crew took a sigh of relief and took time to reflect upon their latest monstrosity, 'Disasterpieces'- The 'Knot live in London. While most of us have never had the pleasure of seeing the band up close and personal, the 'maggots' in this audience are lucky enough to be belittled by Taylor, beaten to pulps by Sid and given an all-round good dose of pure and unadulterated SLIPKNOT. This is the greatest music DVD ever.Slipknot has been one of my favorite bands for a while now and I've been waiting for something to watch besides "Welcome to our neighborhood" The first disk is awesome! It opens with some carnival music and shows shots of the band signing autographs, warming up etc. Then it cuts a shot of the stage. You can hear the introductory (515) playing. The lights are going crazy. Then the screaming of (515) comes to sudden stop. you see Jim Root play the opening riff to people ... and it's just chaos. That's an awesome moment. I am the owner of a number of concert DVDs and this is the only one that actually makes you feel like you're there.Slipknot is total chaos live. The thing they do during "Spit it Out" where everyone gets down on the ground then jumps up is crazy. The second disk is also very cool.It has all the bands videos to date(all of which rock). The "Wait and Bleed" animated version is cool. The multi- angle feature is not as great as people make it out to be. You don't really need it all. Overall it's a great buy, and I would reccommend it to any Slipknot fan, or any general metal fan. This is what it's all about!

Hi, this DVD is well worth your time. I strongly encorage that no one overly young watches it. I have been a fan of Slipknot since their first CD came out. I had tickets for one of their shows, but they bailed out. Anyways, this is the best footage you can possibly get of a Slipknot show. When I bought this DVD I was mad that the inside of my case was cracked (purchased at a local store, not online), the only thing that could make this DVD better is a case with a latch. The footage of this band is great, the have over 30 cameras filming them, not to mention being able to choose a camera angle when you watch on the second disk. The first disk is of their entire live london show, as well as watching them put on their costumes (beware Sid's butt crack). The concert is about one and a half hours long and includes about 15 songs. I like it that they perform their unreleased song "purity" live. The second disk includes all of their music videos: Spit it Out, My Plague, Wait and Bleed, Wait and Bleed (Claymation), and the audio track of Purity. This equals about half an hour. The entire concert is staged perfecly and heres a secret for you: During "Spit it Out" Corey has everyone in the arena get on the floor and then jump up at the same time, it is very cool to watch. Just trust me, buy this DVD. You will love it.

Great DVD, has lots of material, lots of energy and stage presence. Stage props, mosh pits, clown antics, 2 dvd's, cheap price, what more do yea want? My only minor complaint was some of the begining and the skits inbetween songs where annoying. There is a bunch of colorful lines, and annoying noises (similar to type-o-negatives dvd). They could have done something way better to kill time.

Hey maggots I've just found something in this excellent DVD! If you watch it in your computer, when the concert is over(exactly when joey is throwing his bagets(i don't know whether this word is true or not, it's something like a stick, which drummers play with) to the audience, if you scroll your mouse into the screen a pointer will appear and when you press it a hidden part appears, which sid is talking about his fight(I didn't know that he is bald or shaving top of his head) and then the camera shows some audience. It's not too long but it's something, check it out!

Yeah! This DVD is a must have. Excellent sound that could almost shake the ground!!! It shows you all the stuff that happen during a Slipknot concert, (and believe me i've been there) #1 joey hitting it off on the drum Or Jim's #4 excellent fingering on the guitar. Come on everyone, admit it, everyone knows they like at least one slipknot song because everyone gets mad at the world. surfacing is the best choice here i believe, well, imagine seein it live. it's the coolest, but i think the best part of the dvd is anytime you see Joey (1) or Sid (0). only cuz they are the craziest dudes live, who wouldn't want to see sid crowdsurfing and then hit a fan. it shows it live in this during spit it out, and joey just rocks, the best parts are when he bashes his head into his cymbals and his solo which is (sic). believe me, i've been to 2 slipknot concerts (Ozzfest 2001, and tattoo the earth 200o 'fore they were huge) and you can completely feel what it's like to be at one of the shows minus the bruises and cuts and ears that hurt from the amps. so basically it's a painless rockin slipknot concert that you can totally rock to. well, painless unless you rock out like i did and bash your head on the walls and jump off your bed in a swan dive motion. oww. slipknot is one of the craziest bands live, get it, love it, live it, be (sic). so ask yourself this, Are you ready to take the ... test my friends? well, you're about to get your ... chance....." - Corey, intro to Spit It Out, LIVE! oh, and for those who aren't sure about the parental advisory cuz it says nuthing about it on the description, you can't buy this edited. so worry not my friends.

Slipknot have just proved themselves to be the best live act in the world. I must admit I was sceptical, I've never been a huge fan, I've never sat in my room singing Heretic anthem into the mirror, I've never sat on the couch pretending I was Joey with two pencils... Aww who am I kidding... The minute I put this DVD in my player I was brutalized by Slipknot. I'd be a liar if I told you that I didn't jump around on the couch singing along to Left Behind with my remote firmly clutched in my sweaty palm. Probably the most accessible and user friendly metal act in the world, I was glued to my TV while I watched them beat London to death. The crowd was massive and crazy. I'm sure a good Metallica fan from 1988 would have no trouble punishing the teenaged bogans and making their way to the front, but lets be realistic here. This DVD is the best thing since sliced bread. You'll hardly be able to contain yourself when you put it in your player. Remember all this praise is coming from a person who never really loved Slipknot (until now) so it's a totally un-biased view.

The one thing I love about this dvd is you can put in the second disk and edit your own slipknot show. And while editing, you can pick your favorite member's view and watch him in action through the whole song. I love watching Joey play drums. He is my favorite member because he rules on drums. Normaly I hate seeing these reviews that always seem to give 5 stars, because of course someone is going to love the exact items that interest them. However, this is a different case. I've seen many different concerts, live and on video, and this one fa and away is the best hands down I've ever seen. The DVD is well shot and captures the band well, so well you almost feel there. That's because the intensity of the crowd and espically the band transend the video and leap off of it, you can actually feel the energy. The special feature of being able to see the show through the eyes of each of the band members is an excellent bonus. This is a must have for any Slipknot, and those not already it can actually turn you into one. Let's hope there is more of Slipknot to come in the future

This DVD is defiantely kick [booty]. You see their set from London as well as see them backstage before the show, autograpgh signings and more. If you think you'll see under their masks, well think again. You shouldn't have expected that anyway cause it's all about the music. You want to see a kick [booty] show, you'll see a kick ass show. There's a 2nd disc which provides all their videos with a special animated version of "Wait and Bleed." They have a feature called VIP which while watching, it pops up saying "VIP" and you hit your subtitle button and you see some more backstage adventures. Everything is just kick [booty]. The sound and video quality is just great and you see a kick [booty] show all in one. Get this for all of your maggots and they won't be disappointed. This is definately and "Disasterpiece!"

I had heard very good reviews from this DVD, and coming from Slipknot naturally I had very high expectations. But this DVD completely blew my mind away. This is packed with features most bands dream of. First of all it's got their 5 videos including the rare Wait and Bleed claymation video, and the Spit It Out video banned from MTV. It has over 20 of their songs performed live at their concert in Londong, England. It also includes the Joey, and Sid solos. It also adds the option to view w/different camera angles (one for each member) for some of the songs. All in all this is the best [$$]I've spent in my whole life. I recommend everyone to get it, I guarantee there's no way you can be dissapointed.

I have never had the pleasure of seeing Slipknot live, so I was really exicited about a live DVD coming out. Especially with a whole second disc with a collection of their vidios, some I have never seen before, and the bonus track "purity" thats amazing, I had also never heard before. DTS would have been top of the line sound, but the standard 5.1 does the job fine. I must add how good of a job the music comes across live on this DVD. Sometimes players have a hard time keeping up the hectic pace of their studio work, especially in this field of music, and slipknot not only keep up but play with with more vicious intensity than you hear on the record if you can believe it. Coreys double bass playing is incredibly accurate as ever. You gotta buy this DVD and hear it for your self! Not for the weak hearted. If your 555 then i'm 666! -RockSteady!

I've been waiting for quite some time for a new Slipknot DVD to come out, and I was hoping it would be one that would show one of their live performances. Well, that day has come. Slipknot's "Disasterpieces" is for anybody who is a fan of Slipknot.
This live performance is more than satisfactory. The video and sound quality is really superb. It's almost like you're there live. The concert took place at the London Arena, which shows us just how crazy a London crowd can be at one of these shows. Along with seeing them perform their songs, you get to see the band prepare for the show as well. They play a lot of songs from the second album, as well as with the first one. Some of them you can count on seeing are "disasterpiece," "wait and bleed," "(sic)," "purity," "left behind," "my plague," and many, many more.
This 2 disk collection also features all of the band's videos, including a rare animated version of "wait and bleed," the bonus audio track "purity," and more.
They're a group either people love or hate, which is fine. They're not for everyone. They take their music to the extreme, always willing to take it to the limit. Some may consider their lyrics brutal and violent, but that's not Slipknot's message. Yes, believe it or not, they do have a message. And it's not "f- the world" or "everyone is garbage." Their message is that it's okay to have negative thoughts, just as long as you deal with them the right way. They deal with their demons through music. Slipknot's "Disasterpieces" is a must-have for any Slipknot fan.

The major reason i bought the dvd was to see MY PLAGUE live, because i was very insulted when i saw that watered down version in RESIDENT EVIL. I love slipknot they are (sic). I am very pleased with this DVD. I'm not the biggest, hardcore fan of Slipknot, but I really enjoyed this DVD. The concert was filmed with 30 cameras, edited so it seems like a music video. It has fantastic quality. The DVD also includes many features such as behind the scenes and all of their music videos. Sure this may not be good as a concert, but who cares?? Slipknot isnt going to be touring anywhere in the US for a long time. I highly recomend this DVD to any Slipknot fan.

This is the most ear splitting, smashing dvd I have ever seen. I just recently got into Slipknot. I thought the bled and cut themselves on stage, but I was completely wrong. The concert is in London. Its about an hour and 24 minutes long. Out the time they show you thirty diffrent angles og them performing. They are great band because they are not sic freaks. They just head bang to some kick butt music. Out of the 1 hour and 24 minute long concert you see about 15 minutes of normal fans jumping up and down. So you see alot of Slipknot performing.

I recently bought this dvd and many reviews says the concert dvd rocks, it was okay but nothing can compare the sheer magnatude of actually being in the concert and the mosh pit itself.I was fortunate enough to go and see six slipknot concerts and nothing beats the ear smashing,heart ripping sound of a live concert that slipknot delivers..sure the concert in london on the dvd was okay but it cannot live or surpass the actual sound and feeling of going to an actual live slipknot concert. The dvd is okay for fans that don't have a chance or will never have a chance to see slipknot live in the flesh.

This is by far the best DVD ever made. Pre-Concert footage, a full concert, music videos, multi-angle shots of a few songs, and there are a few solos by Sid (DJ) and Joey (drums) that are out of this world. Maybe I'm biased because I'm a gigantic Slipknot freak - but this 2 DVD set is unbelievable. The performance of Spit it Out is cool as hell, and if you've ever seen Slipknot in concert before (which I had) you'll realize how real this DVD is - it's exactly like being at the show! The sound quality is amazing. The only thing bad I can say about this is I wish they taped in in Denver instead of London so I could have been there for the taping. BUY THIS DVD NOW!!!!!

The dvd itself (that is, features and production) is quite good. However, if this is a typical Slipknot concert, it is a little disappointing. Slipknot is a heavy band, and like most bands of the genre, they play much louder in concert than is necessary. The result is a very noisy sound- the songs start to sound the same after awhile. Also typical of the bands of this genre is the completely lame and unimaginative in-between song banter by the singer. Corey Taylor throws the obligatory "F-word" into everything he says. Such as "this is from our new f*cking album" and "this song is called f*cking __________." C'mon Corey, come up with something more original than that. Don't get me wrong- I really like this band. But they are much better on album than live. The most irritating thing about this disc is the 6-minute plus intro of white noise that you must sit through to get to the performance. You must sit through it- it cannot be skipped. If you must have this disc, buy a used copy or rent it somewhere. It's not worth paying full price for.

This is a perfect DVD for the slipknot fan. It has phenomenal video and sound quality, unbelievable that it's live. They used over 30 cameras to film this DVD and it sure does show. This DVD includes a nice 15-song set performed in London. In addition to this, it includes 5 of the 'knots music videos. One word to describe this DVD would be "incredible."

Very amazing performance, you can see different angles of the show, and also you can see what all the members of the band are watching, 'cause all of them have a mini-cameras in their masks. I have just finished watching the entire Slipknot DVD "Disasterpieces" and am still in awe of how incredible it is. The live performance has the best sound I have heard on a DVD, let alone any live performance yet. Of course, Slipknot is performing, therefore making it a given that the visuals are phenomenal. The performance captures every member's point of view in the incredibly intense event that is a Slipknot show. Watching the band prepare for the show is visually enticing. It makes the viewer realize how much work they put into every aspect of the show. Aside from the live performance, extras such as VIP, which shows the viewer a face to face view of a certain member at a given time such as DJ Sid when he's doing his solo. All Slipknot videos are included as well as the rare track "Purity". There are a couple of songs in which you can choose from which member's perspective you want to witness the spectacle. Overall, this is the best music DVD I have ever seen! Slipknot is the best band in the world and it is proven in this DVD. Enjoy because something as good as Slipknot can't possibly last long! 94 Amazing.... The Greatest DVD of all time
This DVD is the most amazing thing ever. Suncoast in the mall sold me a copy on Saturday and I've watched the thing non stop. This mosnter is one of the most advanced and well done DVD's I've ever seen. They use over 30 cameras and have some great footage of every member of the band. The songs are of course amazing. They play fan favorites like Spit It Out, and then they play some of their less mainstream songs like Gently. The pyro is amazing and the crowd is friggin nuts. The whole show is a hundred minutes long when you include the clips of the band setting up. The second disc has tons of extras. This is the DVD where they hooked up the mini camera's to their jumpsuits and tour across the world. So you can their point of view during the show. I dont know what other features are on it, but I already pre-ordered.
