1 What a load of rubbish!!
I was challenged by a supporter of medical quackery to read this book as it was sure to convince me that a great man had once defied the laws of the universe and had also found a guaranteed cure for cancer, a man whose achievements had been suppressed by the orthodoxy. Even though the man's work had been suppressed, I was able to find a copy of the book at an underground bookshop specialising in selling books which the establishment do not want people to read (the underground bookshop goes by the name of Amazon.com). Luckily, I was able to get a second-hand copy, so I didn't have to contribute to the author's royalty stream.
Although dead for years, Royal Raymond Rife remains a giant in the medical quackery and pseudoscience worlds. Not only did he discover the cure for cancer, but he was able to invent a microscope which defied the laws of optics. Of course, he was persecuted and suppressed by the establishment and his ideas and discoveries were lost forever. Or so this book says. In fact, Rife's ideas persist today in a variety of forms, although many of the quacks who have plagiarised his work seem to forget to mention where the ideas came from and then go on to claim them as their own.
Briefly, Rife claimed that all cancers were caused by the same virus and that this virus could change form, sometimes looking like a virus, sometimes looking like a bacterium, and sometimes manifesting itself as a fungus. He could observe these creatures moving about under his microscope by magnifying them 13,000, 17,000 or even 60,000 times, magnifications which "physicists" and "microscope manufacturers" claim are impossible using visible light and only attainable with electron microscopes. Because electron microscopes can only observe killed specimens, Rife had the advantage of seeing the living organisms moving about. He was then able to determine the electromagnetic frequencies which would destroy the microbes and cure the cancer. All cancer.
Physicist Robert Park has described seven signs of what he calls "voodoo science", and Rife showed almost all of them. He either refused or was too busy to publish any of his work in peer-reviewed journals (although some of his supporters published anecdotes in some non-peer-reviewed publications), there was a powerful establishment suppressing his discoveries (the dreadful Morris Fishbein from the AMA tried to buy his silence), all the evidence of cures was either anecdotal or lost in fires, equipment which operated at or even beyond the limits of detection was required to observe the effects, Rife worked in isolation (except for a few acolytes and true believers) and changes to the laws of physics were required if his microscopes were to work. As added evidence of the conspiracy against Rife, some people who initially supported him later changed their minds and admitted that they had been foolish.
If this book had been written as a way of showing an example of pathological science at work then it might have had some value. Instead, it was written by a true believer as a way of promoting Rife's work and promoting the nonsense to a wider audience. This book is less than worthless. I felt that I should have been paid to read it. Not only is it worthless, however, but it is dangerous as it could convince people with real diseases that someone following Rife's absurd ideas might actually be able to cure something.
2 A true Martyr.
This book is a fascinating, yet tragic tale, of a man who not only invented a microscope that was ahead of it's time, but 'cures' for cancer and most other diseases, using a machine that used different frequencies. This man, Royal Rife, had to constantly battle with the corrupt Medical Cartel that is only concerned about the almighty dollar. It makes one sick to think about how much good his work could have been for world, except it was destroyed and is still being suppressed. I am glad that Barry Lynes wrote this book though, and hope that it will continue to spark peoples desires to carry on Rife's work.
On the side, I would like to mention there is now more and more ongoing tests with RIFE type machines. And that quite advanced RIFE type machines can be bought nowadays. They are around $5000.00 US. Make sure they have a plasma tube and not just the pads if you want a genuine and more effective RIFE type machine.
3 Royal Rife - a true hero!
We celebrate heroes who eradicate polio and other diseases from our lives. Here is a man, Royal Rife, who could have pioneered the victory over cancer 70 years ago that so many seek today with the "Race for the Cure." But, as Barry Lynes vividly points out, the current 6.4 million annual deaths worldwide go on because the FDA, FTC, AMA and the rest of the medical "establishment" felt threatened by this technology. Their suppression of it was brutal, but not effective. It has lived on and grown with the advance of technology into a wide variety of "frequency machines" which treat diseases like cancer effectively albeit outside "mainstream" medicine.
Read this book and then explore the latest descendent of Rife's work in use, among other places, at the MSB Holistics Clinic in Buffalo, NY. With their computerized low freqency magnetic therapy machine, they sucessfully treat cancer patients they never see in Australia, South Africa, Italy, etc. Sound like Buck Rogers? I know some of these people. They are cancer-free after being given up on by local oncologists. Royal Rife lives on!
4 An incredible story!
This book is one of the most amazing stories I've ever read. It's sad to see a genius' work suppressed by those who need it. Fortunately, these frequency generators are still around and being manufactured. I have used one with great success, and I have known other people who have as well. The idea of using frequencies to destroy micro-organisms is so profound, that it is unfortunate that it had to be invented during a time when the world apparently wasn't ready for it. I'm confident that if this invention were to suddenly appear today, as if invented today, the world would react differently, and probably accept it.
5 Frustrating to read, but this info needs to be exposed
I've been meaning to read this book for years but put it off because I knew I'd be terribly frustrated. Cancer was cured in the 1920's along with a lot of other diseases. The AMA, American Cancer Society, the F.D.A., pharmaceutical industry and a lot of M.D.'s worked together to suppress it and to this day it remains unknown to the common man.
You must read this book just to know that if you should hear that dreaded, "you have cancer" there is hope. The Rife device is available if you look for it. Also, know that there are a lot of other cancer cures that are being suppressed. Thousands of people are curing their cancers and living long and healthy lives.
Make the decision now while you're healthy that if you should get cancer, you will not submit to the =cut, burn, and poison, slow death, line the pockets of the cancer industry's= death.

6 Understanding the Cancer Industry
This is one of the most revealing books I have read on the supression of possible cures for cancer.
The cancer/pharmaceutical/medical industry are shown for their narrow minded thinking and unwillingness to embrace any alternative therapy or treatment. This book also reveals to what means these individuals will go to keep an inexpensive and effective cure from the public.
7 The time is now.
With the very real risks of biological warfare and terrorism, we all are going to fight such terrible enemies know by such names as Ebola, Marburg, Smallpox, Camelpox, Monkeypox, Dengue, and even mixed-ups made in some laboratories to guarantee a 100% rate of death, as Dr. Ken Alibek told he done, under the direct orders of USSR Leader Gorbachov. 8 You'll have to read it to believe it
This is a book about the research conducted by Royal Rife in identifying and destroying a cancer microbe and the people and institutions who succeeded in making sure you and I never hear about it. You'll also learn about the scientists who worked with him, contributed to his work, and collaborated his findings. I became infuriated and cried many times while reading this book....
Rife's work began in 1920 and by 1932 he had identified a cancer microbe....
Please understand the basic conclusion of Rife's discovery is that bacteria change into virulent forms because of the human host's cellular environment. A toxic environment provides a medium in which these harmless bacteria can become deadly. The bacteria don't kill you; your bad habits do! (Incidentally, he found that this virulent form thrives on pig meat and mushrooms. And another scientists found this bacteria in all chicken meat.) And don't ever believe that our billion dollar cancer industry will stand by and allow you to cure yourself with a thousand dollar Rife box.

9 What You Don't Know Will Hurt You!
The Cancer Cure That Worked!, is a well written, and documented book. It is a sad commentary on our society as a whole, that suppression of a cure for cancer, has not only been surppressed since the mid 30's, but that it continues to be suppressed to this day.
Barry Lynes is a good journalist, and an investigative reporter. His documentation of the suppression is excellent. Perhaps what is most surprising about the information revealed by Mr. Lynes, is that no governmental agency, no politician, no prominent figure, has picked up this humanitarian cause. And yet all of these have had loved ones die, because this cure has been kept from them.
Mr. Lynes thoroughly documents a legal system that is willing to suppress this information as well. Government agencies, supposedly set up to look after the well being of it's citizens, willingly join hands to aid in this suppression, that is literally responsible for the deaths of millons of Americans. And politicians, sit on their hands, and do nothing to protect those who voted for them, and supported them.
While Mr. Lynes thoroughly documents this suppression, the book leaves you wondering if this injustice will ever be rectified. When you consider the willingness of the masses to forgive an amoral president, and fail to understand the real issues involved, you can't help but wonder if this country has the moral strength to do the things it must, if it is too survive.
Mr. Lynes also establishes the willing culpability of the media. At one time the press was a beacon of hope, standing for truth, and sounding a warning to it's readers on issues that affected them. Mr. Lynes establishes factually, that the press, instead of being a watch dog for it's readers, has become a lap dog for those who are responsible for the suppression. The reason, Mr. Lynes points out, is because they would prefer the hand outs of information from those doing the suppressing, than expend the energy that is necessary to do the investigative reporting on their own. Subsequently, an uninformed public suffers, as their love ones are forced to endure painful, and ineffective treatment, before they and die. And yet those responsible for this suppression, remain free to continue the suppression of information that would eliminate the pain, suffering, and death, that so many Americans, and their families are forced to endure.
Does the phrase: " I was only following orders," sound familiar? What a man sows, he shall reap. But how does one pay for the suffering of millions of people who have died needlessly, and have been forced to endure painful, ineffective treatment? It is an intriguing question. One can only hope it will have a positive answer. The book is well worth reading, even if it is disturbing.
10 FASCINATING BUT TRAGIC TALE
This book, the "Rife Report," is yet another example of the orthodox medical establishment suppressing alternative therapies and solutions. The book describes the work of Royal Rife and of other great pioneers like Dr Arthur Kendall and Dr Edward Rosenow, and how their work was suppressed by certain individuals who at that time were in positions of power in organizations such as the American Medical Association, the Rockefeller Institute and the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. The explanation of "pleomorphism" is very interesting, i.e. that the cancer micro-organism has 4 forms (also confirmed in the later work of Dr Virginia Livingston-Wheeler) while the Rife (Universal) Microscope, described in Science Magazine, is still years ahead of its time. The last chapter touches on the work of Dr Alan Cantwell (available here on amazon.com). The book has a good bibliography and extensive appendices of correspondence, photographs and articles. A well-written book that is essential reading for all alternative therapists and all people who are willing to take responsibility for their own health. I am fortunate to have the acquaintance of a Rife Practitioner and have witnessed two complete cures of lymphatic cancer plus other diseases in the last 6 months. The good news is that the World Wide Web is spreading the news and the established media have also woken up to the efficacy of the Resonator and vibrational medicine in general. I salute a pioneer like Royal Rife and the great work he achieved - the tragedy is that he was too far ahead of his time.
11 A Must-Read for Everyone!
This book is incredible. It confirms what I have known aboutthe medical establishment for several years. The research is good andfactual. I read the whole thing in 24 hours. Of course, it doesn't give you the crucial information of where to get these machines, I'm sure to protect the brave doctors who really care about people, but all that is on the web. I worried about it being printed in 1987, that the info would be "out of date", but it certainly is not, especially with the inclusion of the chapter from 1997 which updates the reader some. There is no hipe or smoke screens with this book, just clear and convincing evidence that cancer is curable without chemotherapy, radiation and all the pharmaceutical companies' drugs. Hail Royal Rife!

13 The Book That Should Be Sent To All Legislators
No-one in their right mind could read this book without becoming incensed with the suppression that has taken place regarding Royal Rife's research. It is absolutely astounding that the government in conjunction with the medical establishment can ignore empirical evidence that is produced by brilliant scientists, and jail those medical practitioners and clinicians whose choose to use cutting edge technology to cure the diseases that plague man. Send this book to your Congressman and Senator and ask them to support alternate health treatment chosen by the public.
14 Critical topic, good treatment
I am delighted this book exists, it explains the benefits of rife technology (cured my wife and several others I know of cancer, also useful for dental disease, colds, migraines). My gripe is that it spends over a hundred pages on the coverup, and less than 20 documenting the cures. However a web search for Royal Rife gives plenty of documentation on cures and where to get machines.

Barry Lynes is a good researcher and he has gathered information on Rife technology that is saving the lives and improving the health of many including a number that I know personally.
On page 146 there is a copy of a page of Rife's lab notes which states that the frequency which destroys the carcinoma cancer virus is 11,780,000 Hz. I have personally tried this frequency, and it works. Thank you Barry Lynes!
16 A well documented and factual Story Of A Great Humanitarian

This is a true life testimonial of the Rife machine and the help that it can give. I have a Rife machine. I ordered it for my chronic Lyme disease. It is used for many ailments and diseases. I was not getting any better with antibiotics, in fact they did damages to my organs. I heard of a distant relative of mine who was just diagnosed with cancer of the bladder. He was really scared and I don't blame him. He is in his early 60's. He has had a tough life, losing a daughter to a drunk driver, she was killed riding a bike on a street. Last year, he lost a son to lung cancer about 36 yrs old. I told him about my Rife machine. He wanted to try it. He had an appt. with Sloan Kettering for June 21st for his second "biopsy", or whatever they did to find the cancer. He came to my house and used the machine himself (I don't push the buttons or stay near it as it is a different frequency for cancer) for about a month, every night. He just called me on Friday to say that his cancer is GONE! He did not mention the Rife to the doctors there and did not ask what they thought about the disappearing cancer. He was only too glad to hear this news. I was too. I just hope it does the same for my Lyme disease. 19 This isn't the kind of book you can read just once
The author did a wonderful job of bringing this story to light. It inspires and hurts at the same time. There was a terrible injustice done. So many have suffered since. The description of Dr. Rife by his long-time assistant, his skill, the lab and his study, evoked a powerful image of true dedication and excellence. The story is very sad in the end. It confirms the scriptural belief that this is in fact a fallen world, and that evil exists in many forms, but it also confirms other scripture in that all things hidden will be revealed. The author includes photos, letters, lab notes and testimonials. If there's a new edition I'd like to see more of this. I'd love to have a look inside that microscope! I have a feeling that this is a story the establishment cannot contain and ultimately it will bring them to their knees.
20 very good synopsis of life & times of a medical genius
i would say that anyone who could build a novel dark-field microcope back in the late 1920's, based on the technology then, build it out of over 5600 parts(!), get it to work successfully using entirely new disclipines, and see clearly live life-forms that now, 60 years later, are finally being taught at some universities(pleomorphs), but still can't be seen with the best optical microscopes OF TODAY, with their pitiful magnification limits of 2500X, (whereas THEN dr. rife's microscope was successfully using powers of over 17,000X)-- well, that person can certainly be called a genius. alas, his life was a greek tragedy, and all the more so for the tens of millions of people who have lost billions of years off their lives in total since then because of the massive cover-up and denial that was perpetrated, then perpetuated, down thru the decades. but there is hope for a resurrection. an internet check using any search engine will clearly show the renewed interest in dr. rife's microscope , and his ray that he used to kill the organisms that were killing his trial patients. dr. barry lynes is a guest speaker at the annual rife symposium, the 2nd of which was held in late 1998 in british columbia, canada. i don't know if this alone is a sign of more FDA harrassment, or implied sanctions, to protect their monied interests, or if this is a salute to the several canadians who had a central role in helping dr. rife both during his original trials, and much later (e.g. gaston naessens). there are several rife/bare and rife/hall instrument sites that are on the web, and i'm not sure of their products, and if they would actually be improved versions of the rife ray (after all, over 60 years have passed). hopefully, dr. lynes will soon write a sequel, with updated data and interviews, rather than just publish another edition. after all, this book was written well before the INTERNET ever became a common, household research tool.also, i hope to see his other book back in print sometime soon. i do know that the annual rife symposium does video-tape the proceedings for later sale, but the 1998 video is not out yet. also interesting that dr. hulda clark claims a totally different single organism as the cause of all cancers, and does not even acknowledge the amazing pioneer work of dr. rife. many other pioneers have discovered the effects of forms of electricity and magnetism on pathogens, but dr. rife would certainly be among the first, as pasteur and koch lived well before the age of electronics, which started early in the 20th century with the deforest triode. looking back on the list of nobel prize recipients in medicine and science, there are only a handful of names who are now household words. yet the list is full of entities who perhaps, if history proves to be a fair and truthful judge, will be shown to have been far lesser lights than dr.rife. that is the injustice that can NEVER be corrected. the hope is that there is enough material and notes out there that the true story can be pieced together soon, so that dr. rife can claim his place in history as a man at least the equal of all the other great great scientists.
21 Stunning! Well written! Must Read!!
Hard to swallow at first, but I've done enough checking to know Rife lived, invented his microscope and that this story, while fantastic, may in all probability be TRUE!?!? Are most cancer's caused by a single microbe? Heck if I know, but it sure does make sense. Random genetic events might cause millions or billions of variations, yet most cancers are of similar form. A cancer microbe makes sense, as does the idea that electromagnetic radiation can kill microbes. With the Internet, if this is true, longevity for all is a reality. Poor social security.
22 Thought- provoking, excellent, a "must read"!
As a chiropractor, I am well aware of the politics and prejudices that exist in the health care profession. This book certainly hits home in that vein. It is a shame that one must go"underground" today to find "alternative" help for serious life threatening diseases. This, as well as Mr. Lynes book: The Healing of Cancer, should be read by everyone. Buy them by the dozen and loan them to your friends. People should have a freedom of choice as to their health care, and should be aware how money and politics squelch that freedom, especially when there are lives at stake.

23 The cause AND CURE for cancer discovered years ago.
Reading this book made me angry and hopeful. I read this book ten years ago and have done a LOT of research on my own since then. Too bad this book is not in print. Everyone should read it. I value this book more then the over 300 books I own. I mostly encourge any doctors out there to read this book. It seems this information has been kept out of your medical books to keep you ignorant. Barry Lynes did an excellent and factual report on this subject.
24 Needs to be back in print
With interest in Royal Rife (and James Bare's) devices as described in this book reaching a frenzied pitch in some quarters and the people making the devices and components being backlogged sometimes months, and so many people asking on the Rife listserver "Where can I find that book?" it is amazing this book is out of print. Who dropped the ball?

I think this book is excellent, and should be read by anyone interested in studying alternative approaches to curing disease.
26 Essential reading for all people interested in health
This book is one of the most thought provoking books you will ever read. Royal Raymond Rife was one of the greatest minds in modern science. He developed methods to search for and eventually to destroy pathogens including cancer. Rife developed the worlds most powerfoul live cell microscope that is unequaled to this day. Why are we not using this technology? This book will envoke rage and sadness at the medical/pharmaceutical powerhouses of the day. Rife's work is being carried on today underground without government support without his records or any of his own equipment. It is unconscionable that the technology this man developed is not being utilized in every medical research lab/hospital in this country or the world for that matter. If this could happen to R.R. Rife with the magnitude of his discovery, it is without question occuring today as you are reading this review. The people who conspired to destroy Rife may be gone but the financial institutions that gave them the power are still alive and well and more powerful then ever. This is one of the few books which can cause a paradigm shift in a persons perspective on the health/medical establishment.
27 Thorough, thought provoking, a conspiracy smasher
THE GREATEST GENOCIDE IN ALL OF HISTORY: I spoke with Barry Lynes on the phone for a total of ten or more hours, I met personally with Rife's sole surviving partner. I checked all of Lynes research, I asked a lot of questions of pathologists and cancer researchers. Rife did it. He cured cancer. I have met several documented survivors due to Rife's therapy. Lynes captured Rife to the inth degree. I wish I had known the man personally. The book explores the Rife mystery from all possible angles. The cronology and the events seem compatable with the technology. The shame of it is that; What if Rife's technology had been allowed to evolve along with the rest of modern science where would we be today in the fight against pathogenic organisms. One can only look at the rest of old technology reborn in the modern age and merely speculate. But, if I had to guess, I would say that we would have wiped out many diseases years ago. The world needed Rife an the blind ambition of one man and his alliance with the medical research community is responsible for more deaths over the last 57 years than all the wars and atrocities that have ever been commited agianst society. One day I hope Rife gets the credit he deserves. The man was one of the greatest minds of this or any other century and should be heralded with Hawkins, Einstein, and Newton.
