1 Avoiding the minefields
Finally a diet book that helped me avoid the minefields when I eat out! I am an Atkins follower and used to cringe when I would have to go out for lunch at work or with friends. This book let me know in advance what I should eat and more importantly, what things I should avoid. Using the book as a guide I also determined which restaurants would have too many temptations for me to enter. Thank you for your help! I hope there will be a follow up book for new restaurants opening in the future.

Quote of the Day:

The White Rabbit put on his spectacles.

"Where shall I begin, please your Majesty ?" he asked.
"Begin at the beginning,", the King said, very gravely, "and go on
till you come to the end: then stop."
-- Lewis Carroll

Anyway, I keep picturing all these little kids playing some game in this
big field of rye and all. Thousands of little kids, and nobody's around --
nobody big, I mean -- except me. And I'm standing on the edge of some crazy
cliff. What I have to do, I have to catch everybody if they start to go
over the cliff -- I mean if they're running and they don't look where they're
going I have to come out from somewhere and catch them. That's all I'd do
all day. I'd just be the catcher in the rye. I know it; I know it's crazy,
but that's the only thing I'd really like to be. I know it's crazy.
-- J.D. Salinger, "Catcher in the Rye"
