1 Travel Planner & Journal
I love this item. It has plenty of space to write things down and the format is great! We are planning a trip to Florida soon and this is going to be great. I have looked all over to find something that would have this kind of information in it, but have not had any success until I bought yours. Thank you!!!
2 Publisher's response to Dana Mcmahan review
Regarding the front and back covers, we are sorry you felt compelled to rip them off the book, as the covers are designed so that you can create and insert your own cover art under the protective plastic (this is noted on the back cover of the planner). We are truly dissapointed that the book did not meet your expectations. Returned unused, I'm sure Amazon.com would be more than happy to refund your payment.
3 Good content but I didn't know it was homemade
I agree this had useful content - especially the day planning section. However it is - how do I put this - cheesy looking. It looks totally homemade. Different fonts on different pages give it a very amateur appearance. It's just a book anyone with a binding machine and Microsoft Word could make. The cover is hideous - I promptly ripped it off, as well as the back. I'll use it because I already bought it, but it's just not attractive at all.
4 The travel planner saved us time and money.
We referred to it before, during and after the trip. It's a wonderful keepsake of a special time!
5 Exactly What I Was Looking For!
It seemed as though all the travel books I could find were fancy bound books with blank pages on which to write. That was not what I wanted. I wanted something that would help me to corral all of my planning, thoughts, accounting records and memories of my trip. And this book exceeded my expectations.

The "Things to Do" section has multiple "to do" tips as well as places to write your own personal "things to do".

The "Packing Checklists" section has separated lists for different items. For instance, there is a Clothing Items list, General Items list, Toiletry Items, Beach Items, Vehicle Items, Baby Items...with plenty of room in which to write.

My favorite section is the "Activity Planner" It has a place to write in the day and date at the top of a day planner chart. The page that corresponds to the schedule planner, has "Memories of This Day" at the top, and urges you to write in the temperature, weather conditions and special moments of that particular day.

Next is the "Daily Journal" area in which you can expound on what was written previously. Following, is an address book.

The last section of the book has all kinds of little goodies for the traveler. It includes notepaper, a gift list (for people you wish to buy for while on your trip), a film/photo Record (to keep track of which roll of film is of which location--NICE!), a mileage record (that even shows you how to figure miles per gallon), an expense record (item, where spent, item purchased...), Pockets to put in momentos printed on front, it has "This pocket contains:". And last of all, a place to write down things you have learned during the trip that might be helpful in future trips.

I am buying another one of these journals as a gift. And I will, quite possibly, purchase more for future trips.
